Formula for Percentage Using Dates?
Hi everyone!
I am trying to figure out a percentage formula with audit dates data. I have been trying to find a formula and figured I would ask here!
For example:
G4 = 2/13/24
G5 = BLANK
G6 = 3/21/24
The total percentage of audits completed is 66%.
Thanks in advance!!!

New Blog | Cloud security posture and contextualization across cloud boundaries from a single dashbo
Introduction:
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you wanted to prioritize the riskiest misconfigurations on cloud workloads across Azure, AWS, and GCP? Have you ever wondered how to implement a unified dashboard for cloud security posture across a multicloud environment?
This article covers how you can achieve these scenarios by using Defender Cloud Security Posture Management’s (CSPM) native support for resources inside Azure, and resources in AWS and/or GCP.
For more information about Defender for Cloud’s multicloud support you can start at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/defender-for-cloud/multicloud
To help you understand how to use Defender for Cloud to prioritize riskiest misconfigurations across your multicloud environment, all inside of a single dashboard, this article covers three topic in the following sequence:
Understanding the benefits of Defender CSPM for multicloud environments.
Implementing a unified security dashboard for cloud security posture.
Optimizing security response and compliance reporting.
Understand the benefits of Defender CSPM for multicloud environments:
When it comes to the plethora of different cloud service at your disposal, certain resource types could be more at risk than others, depending on how they’re configured, whether they’re exploitable and/or exposed to the Internet. Besides virtual machines, storage accounts, Kubernetes clusters, and databases come to mind.
Imagine if you have a compute resource, like an EC2 instance that is public exposed, with vulnerabilities and can access other resources in your environment. When combined together, these misconfigurations can represent a serious security risk to your environment, because an attacker might potentially use them to compromise your environment and move laterally inside of it.
For organizations pursuing a multicloud strategy, risky misconfigurations can even span public cloud providers. Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you use compute resources in one public cloud provider and databases in another public cloud provider? If an organization is using more than one public cloud provider, this can represent risk of attackers potentially compromising resources inside of one environment, and using those resources to move to other public cloud environments.
Defender CSPM can help organizations close off potential entry points for attackers by helping them understand what misconfigurations in their environment they need to focus on first (figure 1), and by doing that, increase their overall security posture and minimize the risk of their environment getting compromised.

Introducing GPU Innovations with Windows Server 2025
Afia Boakye and Rebecca Wambua
AI empowers businesses to innovate, streamline operations, and deliver exceptional value. With the upcoming Windows Server 2025 Datacenter and Azure Stack HCI 24H2 releases, Microsoft is empowering customers to lead their businesses through the AI revolution.
Here is what Hari Pulapaka, GM of Windows Server at Microsoft, says about how Windows Server empowers customers with AI: Windows Server 2025 is well positioned to help our customers be part of the AI revolution with its advanced GPU capabilities, allowing our customers to do training, learning, or inferencing using powerful NVIDIA GPUs.
GPUs are essential for AI due to their parallel processing capabilities and highly scalable architecture. Using the upcoming OS releases, Microsoft’s customers can provide an entire GPU to a VM, which can run either Linux or Server, in a failover cluster using discrete device assignment (DDA). This means that mission-critical AI workloads can easily run in a clustered VM and, upon an unexpected fault or a planned move, the VM will restart on another node in the cluster, using a GPU on that node.
GPU Partitioning (GPU-P) is a powerful new capability we are adding with Windows Server 2025. GPU-P empowers customers to partition a supported GPU and assign those partitions to different VMs in a failover cluster. This means that multiple VMs can share a single physical GPU, giving each VM an isolated fraction of the physical GPU’s capabilities.
Further, due to a planned or unplanned move, the VMs will restart on different nodes in the cluster, using GPU partitions on those different nodes. Besides enabling clustered VMs to use GPU-P, the upcoming OS releases are bringing live migration to VMs using GPU-P. Live migration for GPU-P enables customers to balance mission-critical workloads across their fleet and to conduct hardware maintenance and software upgrades without stopping their VMs.
Windows Administration Center (WAC) empowers customers to configure, use, and manage VMs using virtualized GPUs. WAC enables administrators to manage GPU virtualization for both standalone and failover clusters from a single, centralized location, thereby reducing management complexity.
The screenshots below highlight GPU-P management in WAC, demonstrating how users can seamlessly view, configure, and assign GPU partitions to VMs.
In this first image, customers can view a comprehensive list of their partitioned GPUs.
Figure 1: The GPU partitions inventory page
Customers can partition eligible GPUs with their desired number of partitions.
Figure 2: The partition count configuration page
Finally, customers can assign GPU partitions to different VMs.
Figure 3: The GPU partition assignment tool
These high-value GPU innovations are a result of Microsoft’s and NVIDIA’s continual close collaboration.
Here is what Bob Pette, Vice President of Enterprise Platforms at NVIDIA has to say. “GPU virtualization requires advanced security, maximum cost efficiency, and accurate horsepower. With GPU-P now available on NVIDIA GPUs in Windows Server Datacenter, customers can meet these requirements and run their key AI workloads to achieve next-level efficiencies.”
Windows Server 2025 is now available for customers to try out. Click here to download preview media and use these powerful new capabilities.

exportgraphics with ‘patch’ crashing Matlab 2024a
I’ve recently changed from Matlab 2022a to 2024a and some plotting and saving scripts are crashing Matlab (the ones that don’t crash take much more time to save).
I am plotting patches and saving them as vector images (‘eps’)

I am aware that the plot may seem to big to be vectored (lots of points), but a big change has happened between 2022 and 2024 to raise this issue

Intune Synch All Functionality
Hello Microsoft Team and Community,
Recently, my company performed a Root Cause Analysis regarding a maintenance activity which failed. During the RCA, the team performed a few exercises to map the contributing causes and one of the identified challenges was that there is currently no functionality to push or force a synch event to all mobile phone devices in the group, and that instead the phones need to be manually synched individually or you wait until the device checks in on its own to retrieve policy updates.
Is it possible to request synch-all device functionality to be added to the endpoint manager?

Windows10 issue with MSIX packages having cache UserClasses.dat and User.dat in Virtual Registry
Hello,
I’m using some common files between MSIX packages. When I install them, the OS attaches permissions from separate MSIX packages in both packages.
All of the package files, after install, the file security properties show in |Condition| column: (WIN://SYSAPPID Contains “package name) for both packages that share some of the same files.
It has been difficult to see where the problem affects the applications but each runs a jvm client and server that is part of each package. The common error is “JAVA SocketException” – the client connects ok but the server does not. The COM seems to be ok but still checking.
I found strange listings in Registry Editor HKLMSYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlhivelist. They are in the REGISTRYWCSilo*** registries that I believe are the virtual registries for the MSIX package. A well functioning application will only have one registry *.dat entry for:
DeviceHarddiskVolume*users<username>AppDataLocalPackages<packagename>SystemAppDataHeliumUserClasses.dat and …User.dat
I get the JAVA SocketException error when the virtual registry also includes:
DeviceHarddiskVolume*users<username>AppDataLocalPackages<packagename><CLSID?>SystemAppDataHeliumCache<cacheID>UserClasses.dat and …User.dat
Not sure why it is pulling the userclasses.dat and user.dat from a Cache? The caches are different for each package but seems to be causing the SocketException problems. The cache UserClass.dat and User.dat are in addition to the non-cache .dat files.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Intune Multi-Element Dashboard
Hello Microsoft Team and Community,
Recently, my company performed a Root Cause Analysis regarding a maintenance activity which failed. During the RCA, the team performed a few exercises to map the contributing causes and one of the identified challenges reported was the lack of dashboards which show multiple data elements in the same view (Like compliance policy and configuration policy). This functionality would have been great to review post implementation to quickly identify a change which was causing devices to fail compliance checks and would have been a game changer.

(I want people to be able to see their programs when they go to their user profile.)
I created a new profile field Programs with a comma multivalue separator.
I made it a managed property and a crawled property and a mapped it to a refinable string.
I only have one employee profile filled in with values, but the values aren’t separated when using the PnP filter web part. They appear on one line.
How can I get each comma separated value to appear on individual lines? What am I missing? I’ve tried EVERYTHING I can think of.
AFC Portal and GLSS Intranet should appear on separate lines.
Any pointers appreciated!

Blazor Web App Server Side .NET 8 .AddMicrosoftAccount not returning Azure App Roles
I have successfully created a Blazor Web App Server Side, and I am able to authenticate with Azure AD using the .AddMicrosoftAccount()
builder.Services.AddAuthentication(CookieAuthenticationDefaults.AuthenticationScheme)
.AddCookie()
.AddMicrosoftAccount(config =>
{
builder.Configuration.GetSection(“Authentication:Microsoft”).Bind(config);
config.Events = new Microsoft.AspNetCore.Authentication.OAuth.OAuthEvents
{
OnCreatingTicket = async context =>
{
var user = context.Principal;
var claimIdentity = user.Identity as ClaimsIdentity;
var rolesClaim = user.Claims.FirstOrDefault(c => c.Type == ClaimTypes.Role);
var role = user.IsInRole(“Admin”);
if (rolesClaim != null)
{
var claims = rolesClaim.Value.Split(new[] { ‘|’ }, StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries);
foreach (var claim in claims)
{
claimIdentity.AddClaim(new Claim(ClaimTypes.Role, claim));
}
}
await Task.CompletedTask;
}
};
});
But it’s not returning the roles claim with the attached roles for the user. The roles are setup correctly in Azure.
I’ve searched high and low on the internet for something that would give me a clue as to where to go. I’ve tried using OpenId, and the roles get returned there, but I can’t seem to use them in components.
How do I get these roles using the .AddMicrosoftAccount() method?

EMACS key bindings in App designer?
I use the EMACS key bindings in the Matlab editor (even on Windows). But I can’t find a way to change the key bindings for the App Designer. My fingers are used to the EMACS bindings and this is driving me crazy!

How to apply a linear ramp to start and end of several EEG epochs to attenuate the abrupt onset and offset?
Hey there! I have a set of auditory EEG data recorded collected with the presentation of auditory stimuli, where each stimulus consists of a 3-second speech with a 5-second inter-stimulus interval. Each stimulus onset is marked by an S1 trigger. Currently I have cut off the EEG data without audio input, but for the remain EEG data with auditory stimulation I would like to apply a linear ramp to to both sides of each trial corresponded neural response (10% at each side) to attenuate the abrupt onset and offset. Could you please help me with the code to accomplish this task? Thanks a lot!Hey there! How to change list index with number bullets
I want to continue the automated numbering from 2.01 to 2.02 and so on, but the bulleted list will only allow me to go to 1.03 or 2.
as you can see, 2.01 isn’t part of the list:
I can’t get the list to jump to 2.01.
