Microsoft examination – Rescheduling issues with Pearson with coupons
1.Hi team , I had recently participated in Microsoft Learn AI Skill Challenge and earned a coupon for Free certification in Microsoft , I had booked my Pearson VUE on June 20 for my selected exam , From their end they have cancelled before the day , when I am ready and prepared for my date of examination . They have sent a mail to reschedule due to inavailability for the center , What’s my mistake here ? Now I am unable to Reschedule my exam , and my coupon code validity is till 24 june 2024 , Which is mentioned that I Should take exam within it , Now what could I do in this Situation , The rescheduling window is not yet working or showing available options to proceed for rescheduling my examination .Kindly help me in assisting , Will I be able to use the coupon code , Since its the Test Center fault .

Storage Migration Service – Not all Shares listed in inventory
We plan to migrate our fileserver from Windows 2008 to Windows 2022 using WAC Storage Migration Service. I Setup a SMS job and ran the Inventory on the olf file server first. However, If I compare the listed shares on the Migration job and the shares I have in Server Manager, not all shared are listed during inventory. I have checked rights and I´m able to access the shares that are not listed in WAC on the server without problem. Are the shares just not listed because they are nested and will they be migrated?

How do you fully Uninstall/Clean-up Microsoft Defender Endpoint
Hello,
We are having issues using the Quest migration tool to move our devices to another Microsoft tenant. It seems to be struggling gaining access and deleting a regkey that is link to a service for MDE. Hello, We are having issues using the Quest migration tool to move our devices to another Microsoft tenant. Communication site approvals have stopped working
Approvals have stopped working on my SharePoint communication site web pages. After clicking “Submit for approval” on a page, users see a message “Working on it” with a spinning wheel, but nothing else happens. The approvals process uses Power Automate as described here: Configure page approval using Power Automate (support.microsoft.com) I’ve tried turning off “Require content approval for submitted items” in the versioning settings in the pages library but that didn’t work. Customize and Done buttons missing for Announcement post – Can’t apply image banner – Help!
I’ve been using “new” Teams for some time, and customizing or adding an image banner to an Announcement post has never been an issue before — until today.
Normally, I’d see a “Customize” and “Done” button when selecting an image. But they are missing. I also can’t scroll down to see the other options. It’s completely stuck. See the screengrab below.
Consequence: I can’t customize anything and I can’t apply ANY image banner.
Actions tried: Teams restart, computer restart, Teams on web – nothing works.

Problem with the option to prevent customers managing their bookings
We have used Microsoft Bookings for several years to let our customers book services with us but we’re noticing a trend that the customers tend to rebook their appointments an excessive amount of times which often leads to available spaces on group bookings being wasted. It also increases the admin time because each rebooking needs to be processed again so that the necessary preparations for the customer can be made.One idea we have to try and keep things under control would be to say that the customers should only book the service one time so that we can administer their bookings one time only and then if they miss their appointment time they could just “drop-in” because all the necessary preparations would have already been made for them. But I don’t think this will change the behaviour with how the customers keep moving their bookings. What we really need is the option to prevent the customers from cancelling or rebooking their times themselves. I am aware that there is an option to “Let customers manage their appointments” but this feature seems to be broken! To disable the option you have to go into the calendar and select the group booking. In the pop-up window underneath the “Added Customers” you can disable the option to prevent the customers from managing their appointments. When you do this it takes away the reschedule and cancel buttons but it only works as a temporary measure because as soon as a new person books a place on the same group booking then the option becomes automatically enabled again! Then all the previous customers can also see the reschedule and cancel buttons again. It feels like this part of Microsoft Bookings is broken and unusable at the moment. The only way I could imagine it working at the moment is if a group booking runs out of free spaces and then nobody else would be able to book a place so if you manually disable the option at this point then would remain disabled for everybody. But until the appointment time runs out of spaces then people are just going to keep moving their bookings around. You could probably keep manually disabling the option when new bookings are made but this also adds to the admin time and it doesn’t seem like a very practical workaround.Another idea we have had is to set a longer “minimum lead time” because this is another way to prevent people from cancelling and moving their bookings but it reduces the flexibility of when the services can be booked. But we’re actually going to try this idea and see how it affects things along with changing the information to try and make the customers aware that they are being restricted to one booking.We hope that the option for the customers to manage their own bookings gets fixed soon. It also does not make much sense that it needs to be disabled per booking in the calendar? Shouldn’t this be a feature that applies to every booking for a service instead?I’ve tried to disable the option on two different booking pages but the experience is just the same, the option just becomes automatically enabled again when a new booking is made. The altitude varies throughout the day starting from 0 going until around 250 and coming back to 0 and again to 250 and so on. There is certain period within this time that I dont have any data. I want to interpolate the values for it. When I use
contourf(data.Time,data.Altitude,data.Temp)
it gives me an error saying
Input arguments must be numeric or objects which can be converted to double.
How can I overcome this problem? Essentially I want time in x-axis and Temp in y axis and a color bar that indicates the temperature.I have a data that contains values of Altitude,Temperature and Time for a single day. PFC controller for stable system

BUG: Split Screen functionality makes other application windows unclickable.
Hi,
I have been nagged by this issue for months. Every time I opened MS Edge all other application windows became unclickable.
The usual behaviours like clicking on the top bar of a windows to activate it and make it go on the top of the stack did not work anymore.
The only way I could get focus on a different application window was by using the taskbar. Clicking on the application icon, the window obtained focus and I could click on it. It was very annoying to say the least. Alt-tab did not work as well.
It didn’t take long to understand that this behaviour presented itself constantly only after opening MS Edge and surprisingly it did not go away by closing it and also MS Edge itself was affected by the same issue.
It looked like an invisible layer was created on the screen which made everything else than the current focused window unclickable.
I started looking in the MS Edge settings to see if there was anything that sounded as a possible culprit and when I have seen Split Screen I thought “maybe this one”.
I deactivated it and bingo, the issue went away.
I haven’t been able to find other reports for similar issues. Not sure whether this is something affecting only me, but that would be odd.
Let me know if I can be of any help to investigate this issue further.

Use Hololens 2 to control a PowerPoint presentation
Hello,
I am looking for a solution that will allow me to use my Hololens 2 to help me give my PowerPoint presentations. Traditionally, I would load my powerpoint onto my laptop which would be connected to a projector. After launching the PowerPoint I would have presenter view on my laptop screen and the normal presentation on the projected monitor. Unfortunately, this requires me to stay next to my computer in order to view my notes and advance the slides.
Instead, what I would like to do is pair my PowerPoint with my Hololens such that the notes are displayed in my headset and I can advance my slides from my headset. This would allow me to walk around the room while still be able to control my presentation. Is there a Powerpoint Hololens solution that would allow me to do this? That is, connect my Hololens to my laptop such that presenter view would be displayed within my headset and I could advance the slides from my headset?
I am aware that there is a work around if you are giving your talk through Microsoft teams as you can run Teams from inside the headset. I have also tried Microsoft 365 office, but this only allows me to open the powerpoint. What I really need is a way to pair a presentation with my headset.

Bookings is not loading schedule on computer or iphone app
This just happened yesterday. I closed Bookings and when I opened it again no appointments, policies, clients, appear to load. I’ve restarted and refreshed several times, and have also restarted my computer. Nothing has worked. I just get an empty calendar.

‘New Teams’ – DOES NOT Remember Window Positions
Can anyone tell me if there is a FIX for this??? Ever since I upgraded to the NEW and IMPROVED [and I choke on those words] Teams, DOES NOT remember my previous window positions for either the main window or individual chats. The Classic Teams did this. When can we expect this be FIXED? This is HIGHLY annoying. It is bad enough that Microsoft feels the need to have this fill nearly your entire screen [as if it was the only application you used]. The very least you could do is check these sorts of issues before the app went to production and in my opinion this app is nowhere near production worthy. Please FIX this immediately or provide a workaround that can be utilized as soon as possible. I wish I could use the old ‘classic’ Teams, but it will no longer let me. At least it would remember my previous Window Positions.
