Excel macro button for timestamp
hi there. I am trying to create a macro button that puts a time stamp in a cell. The use case is I administer the timing for running races. As people finish I put their time in a spreadsheet. What I would like is a button in the cell that when clicked, puts the time in that cell, and the button disappears. I’ve got 90% of the way there with a button that enters the time stamp in the cell where the cursor is, which makes it a bit fiddly. What I want is 20 buttons for 20 runners against each of their numbers that all I do is click the button and the time stamp enters and the button disappears. Thanks for any advice!

Export Model as FMU with Linux Binary on Windows
Hello Mathwork team：
I would like to export FMU according this documnent（Export Model as FMU with Linux Binary on Windows – MATLAB & Simulink – MathWorks China) .
but after I try generate FMU model, a error happened. it tell me “Failed to setup the environment. WSL must be at least version ‘2.0.9.0’. ”. Then I have check my WSL verison. it shows my WSL version is 2.2.4.0. and I have run WSL –update and try to update the version of WSL, but it tell me my WSL version is the latest one.
so I think my WSL is the latest one, but why simulink still reminde me that my WSL version is not ok? can you help me to solve it.

How did you get to know about the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors program?
As a freshman at my university, I joined the Microsoft Innovations Club. A senior from the club introduced me to the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors program, which immediately caught my interest!
When did you join the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors program?
I became a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador during my sophomore year, in October 2022.
What activities have you contributed to as a student ambassador in the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador program?
This program’s goal of empowering students to ‘be a force for good’ aligns perfectly with my goal of making technology accessible to all. It has provided me with a comprehensive platform for skill-building, community-building, and networking, which is essential for my professional growth. And also the opportunity for me to collaborate with Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals, and fellow student ambassadors,
I have organized over 16 workshops and events on technologies such as Azure AI Studio, Copilot, Responsible AI, Power Platform, and GitHub, reaching nearly 1500 students and promoting inclusivity in tech.
I have actively led two teams in Ambassadors AI project cycles, winning one cycle and placing among the top 5 teams in another. During these cycles, I developed social impact projects and presented them during demo days. Recently, I served as a Gold Ambassador judge for the AI project cycle held between March and May 2024.
As a peer mentor, I’ve guided fellow ambassadors, enhancing their program experience. The recognition and appreciation for our efforts from the Microsoft Learn Student Program have helped foster a strong sense of inclusion and value within the community. Farfield pattern reconstruction using 2D interpolation in matlab
I am trying to use fourier transform based approach for near field to farfield transformation of E-fields. I have my sampling plane in xy with following coordinates -120mm <X<120mm and -120mm<Y<120mm. My operating frequency is 2.5 GHz to 4GHz. I have taken fourier transform for the E-field complex data and have converted my FFT indices into wavenumbers. In order to do the Near field to farfield transformation, I have to then interpolate the FFT values to the stationary observation points in spherical coordinates. So, i used interp2 function to do this. The following is my code for this interpolation.
Ex_interp(:,:,i)= interp2(Fx_grid1, Fy_grid1, Exff_z0(:,:,i), kx(:,:,i), ky(:,:,i), ‘spline’,0);
Ey_interp(:,:,i)= interp2(Fx_grid1, Fy_grid1, Eyff_z0(:,:,i), kx(:,:,i), ky(:,:,i), ‘spline’,0);
i= number of frequecies in my code. The Fx grid1 and Fy grid are the wavenumbers in cartesian coordinates already in gridded format. Their size is 1024 x 1024. (FFT size=1024). The kx and ky are the observation points in cartesian coordinates calculated from the spherical coordinates. The code works for me and it gives a farfield which closely matches the data from a Electromagnetic solver. But, the catch is that it matches only at lower frequencies, and as the frequency increases, the spline fit is giving me lot of inflections in my antenna beam pattern. I beleive this is related to the interpolation error. Because, when i change the interpolation type to ‘cubic’ it gives lot of ripples in my beam pattern. So, basically with the different types of interplation the final beam varies drastically at higher frequencies. I did not find any method better than spline in interp2 function. I do not know how to solve this issue. Are there any other methods available for 2D interpolation where we can also control the spline fitting parameters? Looking for some suggestions here.. How does nufft function work in matlab?
I am trying to understand how to use nufft function. For this, I started by comparing the results of the fft and nufft transforms of a Gaussian to see if they yield the same result. I find that for a spacing in t space that is not unity, they yield different results. The exmple in MATLAB for nufft also has unit spacing between the t coordinates. Does nufft function not work for non-unit spacing? This would be a problem for me since the next step is to get the fourier transform of a gaussian with different spacings in the t space, i.e, dt varies for each element.

Window 11 blue screen error CRITICAL PROCESS DIED
So for last 2 days my windows 11 keep crashing and it shows blue screen with error CRITICAL PROCESS DIED and initially I was able to login and then when I used my laptop for a while it crashes but now I cant even login and it immediately crashes when i power on my laptop. I tried a lot of things like system restore , startup repair and it throws error “startup repair couldn’t repair Pc” .nothing is working right now.WHAT SHOULD I DO?
There are few things to note –
1) i haven’t installed anything but only a window update i did that too was after it started crashing .
2) couple of weeks earlier i took my battery out of my laptop so maybe it is a hardware issue but that was weeks ago and it was working fine after that for few weeks and this error started 2 days ago.
3) In blue screen i cant use anything like startup repair,system restore everything ran into problem.
4) Also my c disk is only 50 60 gb free.

HELP! Formula or Conditional Formatting?
Hi! I am coming across a road block and it seems like what I am trying to do is simple enough, but everything I have tried does not work. I am wondering if maybe it’s because there is already a formula but I have hidden with =IFNA.. yada yada. I will provide screenshots so you can see what I am trying to do. The examples I provide are just that.. examples for the sake of this exercise.
Example: Bit of Background: I sell booksets to bookstores across the US and Canada and I have 4 types of booksets. Book set 1 contains 2 books in a set; Vol. I & Vol. II. Book set 2 also contains 2 books in a set; Vol. III & Vol. IV. Book Set 3 contains the full set Vols. I-IV and finally Book Set 4 contains the same as Book Set 3 except the books are signed.
What I am trying to do: A book store in Canada bought 250 units of book set 1. I am creating an “invoice” however, for customs purposes, I have to list what is included in the set and their descriptions (Cells A6-A9). Now, I have VLookup formulas in those cells, including cells A10-A12 as I have other bookstores that purchase Bookset #3 and Bookset #4 but I have them hidden w/ IFNA formula. I also have simple formulas in cells B6, B8, B10, & B12 (=B2) See screenshots below.
How can I hide the quantities that are in B10 & B12 when A10 and A12 does not return a value? I have tried IF formulas, I have tried conditional formatting, and nothing I have tried worked so I am stumped. I know I can simply just highlight the cell and make it white but then I’d have to remember to undo that when I sell a book set that contains all 4 books and need the values that are in B10 & B12, if that makes any sense at all. I would like to run SLAM on my stereo camera as a reference. I was able to record the left and right video with my stereo camera to inspect the first pair of images and get "stereo Params" from exporting the parameters of the stereo camera calibration app.
However, in the example of the above site, the initial camera pose is loaded from "’initialPose.mat’" and used as the function "initialPose". What should I prepare to do these on my camera device?I am the following site

Awful process – I worked at Microsoft and complaining to VPs & above about my experience
My LLC is in New Jersey. Believe it or not, some people live in different locations! Yup. Some people have two homes. My credit card billing address is NY address. This was used for my GoDaddy domain receipt. But my WHOIS is New Jersey where LLC is registered.
What the heck do you want me to do? Open a new credit card and hurt my credit score just to renew the domain again and have the domain receipt match the WHOIS? Actually now I cannot even renew my domain again — it is at the max years! Can’t renew again even if I wanted to.
The fact Microsoft had to “lock” this thread because so many people dislike the process says something:

I cannot believe how ridiculous this process is… you have my EIN, I obviously own the email address on the domain, I freaking paid for another 1 year renewal and wasted money for no reason and showed proof of the receipt, I gave the LLC formation doc. Your process is bad. Who designed this mess?

I am a bit confused as to how we find the singular values and therefore condition index number to detect multicollinearity in multiple linear regression analysis. Some mathematicians say the singular values are the square roots of the eigenvalues of the correlation matrix of the predictors of a model. While others says we use covariance matrix instead. Again some math publications said The singular values are the square roots of the eigenvalues of the square matrix X’X of multiple linear regression model. What I am trying to do seems like it should be simple but I am having a hard time. All I need is for columns 1 and 2 to show me the contents of A and C respectively anytime column B matches anything in column N.
So from this:
ABCN12x1b1 y2a3 y1a y3b x2b x1a x3a
to:
ABCN12x1b1xby2a3yay1a yby3b xax2b xax1a x3a
I was able to do this for a single line that matched the first row in N but that was as far as I could get.
I tried mixing XLOOKUP with FILTER but that wouldn’t account for multiple values in N. I tried using CHOOSEROW and XMATCH but I couldn’t seem to get non-adjacent columns to come back.
My example is simplifying; I actually have 25 columns and need 11 of them to show anytime the 13th of them has the same value another, specific cell. There are nearly 5000 rows and I need approximately 400 of them to populate.
Please help?
