Unable to ingest SIME Integration logs for Cloud Apps
Hi All,
We are trying to setup SIEM integration for Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps using this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/defender-cloud-apps/siem. We performed the all following steps but not able to get the logs as per mention on the official doc.
We are getting below logs which is not inline with the expected sample logs provided over https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/defender-cloud-apps/siem:

Mail rule that is routing our FWD mails
Hello
Please i need your help on this issue.
We have a rule that is routing all mails to our 3rd party SMTP gateway (Proofpoint) if external mail and not coming from this 3rd party SMTP gateway.
However if a user gets an external mail and has forward rule to another internal user, the rule is treating this as a new mail and sending it to Proofpoint again.
Is there a way to avoid the second re-route?

Customers are unable to purchase our offer with debit card on Appsource
We published an offer on Appsource, a customer reached out to us that he tried to purchase the offer but it got declined even after trying with 3 different cards. I reached out to the support team and was told that the offer can only be purchased with a credit card.
I feel this imposes some form of limitations on our offer, fact being that we’re targeting users in Africa, Nigeria especially. Most of these customers uses debit cards because credit cards are not common in this part of the world.

If possible can we suggest a feature tailored to allow Customers from this part of the world to easily buy, even through their bank accounts which is the most common method that’s being used over here. Think about it like having a checkout experience that enables publishers to integrate their offer with payment gateways like Paystack, flutterwave, Payaza etc .. or Microsoft rather having those sort of features solely for Africa customers. We’re happy to work with Microsoft on this feature and integrations. Read More
VLOOKUP not working on table created with sharepoint query
I have a table its in a worksheet called RMs.
The table is made from a query of a sharepoint list, which is a raw materials database held on SP.
On another sheet a user can enter a raw material code which is searched for using vlookup on the Sharepoint query table in the RMs worksheet. The Numbers is in the first column of the table and the user entered cell are formatted as a number.
When I test the match using the formula =$C7=RMs!$A8 which should be a match I get a FALSE.
When I test it with =$C7=VALUE(RMs!$A8) I get TRUE.
Both cell formats are set to number with no decimals.
I have no idea what is causing the format issue here other than perhaps the data in the table is seen differently by the Vlookup function.
The Vlookup formula is…..
=IF(ISERROR(VLOOKUP($C9,RMs!$A$4:$J$2000,1,FALSE)),,VLOOKUP($C9,RMs!$A$4:$J$2000,2,FALSE))
First error checks that there is a code in the first column, then if there is, gets the name of the ingredient from the second column in the lookup.
Any Ideas

Running Powershell Scripts – Windows 11 Laptop – Local Admin
Hi All,
I am going round in circle’s trying to deploy some powershell scripts, they are required to do some pretty simple tasks, like download a file from a suppliers website and set the wallpaper to a certain background.
The device is a Windows 11 laptop, Enrolled in Intune and deployed with Autopilot.
The device only has a local admin account (due to the laptop being off the network for long periods and customer needs).
I have a PS script that creates a local admin account and password, this works no problem.
The next script sets the welcome screen, lock screen and the user wallpaper, this work for the first two but doesn’t change for the logged in user.
The last script should download a file from a suppliers website and save it on the desktop.
This deploys with Intune but errors. I have run the script directly on the laptop and it works.
Am I missing something?
Can scripts be deployed by Intune and ran when end user is a local admin?
I have tried changing this setting and still doesn’t work “Run this script using the logged on credentials”
Any help is appreciated.

Fabric Security explained in a Layered Approach
As a SaaS service, Fabric offers a complete security package for the entire platform. The Fabric platform comprises of experiences like include Lakehouse, Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, Synapse Data Warehouse, Power BI, and others. To understand the security in Fabric we have broken down Fabric components into the following layers:
Data – Where the data actually resides inside Fabric (Warehouse/Lakehouse/Eventhouse/OneLake/Fabric clusters)
Items – These are the building blocks of the Fabric platform. They’re the objects that you create and manage in Fabric. There are different types of items, such as data warehouses, data pipelines, semantic models, reports, and dashboards.
Workspace – A logical is a collection of items that brings together different functionality in a single tenant. It acts as a container that leverages capacity for the work that is executed, and provides controls for who can access the items in it. For example, in a sales workspace, users associated with the sales organization can create a data warehouse, run notebooks, create semantic models, create reports, etc.
Domain – A logical grouping of workspaces. Domains are used to organize items in a way that makes sense for your organization. You can group things together in a way that makes it easier for the right people to have access to the right workspaces. For example, you might have a domain for sales, another for marketing, and another for finance.
Capacity – A dedicated set of resources that is available at a given time to be used. A tenant can have one or more capacities associated with it. Capacity defines the ability of a resource to perform an activity or to produce output. Different items consume different capacity at a certain time. Fabric offers capacity through the Fabric SKU and Trials.
Tenant – A dedicated space for organizations to create, store, and manage Fabric items. There’s often a single instance of Fabric for an organization, and it’s aligned with Microsoft Entra ID. The Fabric tenant maps to the root of OneLake and is at the top level of the hierarchy. You can create any number of workspaces, which you can think of as folders, within a tenant.
One-lake – Microsoft Fabric Lake is also known as OneLake. There is OneLake per tenant. It comes automatically with every Microsoft Fabric tenant and is designed to be the single place for all your analytics data. Its the unified storage layer for Fabric
Power BI – Power BI is an online software service (SaaS, or Software as a Service) offering as part of Microsoft Fabric. Its the unified visualization layer for Fabric. When a Power BI report loads data from OneLake, the data goes through the internal Microsoft network.

trainNetwork function features dimensions problem
I’m working on the implementation of a LSTM classification model.
As input I have different time series, as output some categorical values (labels).

Xtest{ii} = data{idxTest(ii)};
Ytest(ii) = categorical(labels(idxTest(ii)));
end
net = trainNetwork(Xtrain’, Ytrain, layers, options);
Running, I receive this error:

number of sequences. All sequences must have the same feature dimension and at least one time
step.

I think it is related to the different sizes of the matrices inside each of the Xtrain cells.

Version 1.9 of the Microsoft 365 Licensing Report
The Microsoft 365 Licensing Report is a popular PowerShell script that’s just been updated to V1.9 with a bunch of changes to highlight different aspects such as license costs for disabled user accounts and inactive user accounts. Copious use of some very dubious color choices makes the HTML report created by the script look very nice (if you’re color blind) and the new version can generate an Excel worksheet.

How to identify Azure AD B2C localization elementIDs and stringIDs for MS APIs
I’m working on localization in Azure AD B2C custom flows and I want to identify elementIDs and stringIDs to use for customizing messages displayed to users.
In general I would like to find a way to identify all the elementIDs and stringIDs for APIs like
api.selfasserted
api.selfasserted.totp
api.localaccountpasswordreset
api.signuporsignin
…
I’m using MS documentation https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-b2c/localization-string-ids but it is incomplete specially on error messages like the ones displayed in TOTP verification page or selfasserted pages.
UserMessageIfIncorrectOTPCodeEntered is used to display a message when TOTP entered is incorrect. But what is the stringID used when the user enters an incomplete TOTP verification code (message is displayed as soon as the user starts typing the code “Enter the 6-digit verification code generated by the the Authenticator app in the box“) it might be something like UserMessageIf…. Or the stringID when the user enters a valid verification code but after the verification session has expired “The specified verification session is invalid or may have expired“

How to conditionally format a range of not blank cells, then check & format per category
Is there a way to conditionally format a range of cells [$C$6:$AT$25 or named range] using formula for the following? –
Firstly, check if cell is not blank [suggested code; NOT(ISBLANK($C$6:$AT$25))].
Then check column A on the same row as that cell and use the following rule:
If CATEGORY1 then format fill yellow,
If CATEGORY2 then format fill blue,
If CATEGORY3 then format fill green,
If CATEGORY4 then format fill red, and so on…
Is this possible in conditional formatting using formula and if so what is the best method?
