Why is pay-roll not deducting taxes in Q.B?

MS project to Excel
Hi,
I am trying to link an MS Project Professional (Desktop, not online) to MS Excel, where if I edit something in MS Project, it is updated in Excel too. This is to create a dashboard in Excel or Power BI instead of MS Project. I have tried to Paste link using Paste Special (Microsoft Project Document Object), but this object is not data in Excel that I can create dashboard or charts with nor I can use Power Bi to create reports with it.

I can’t browse files in Word online
When I use ‘Draft with Copilot’ in Word online and pick ‘Browse files from cloud’
I get a ‘Something went wrong…PrefetchFailure (NoTokenProviderForUnauthenticatedPrefetch)
I’ve tried resetting and deleting the cache, a new browser, and an incognito browser, but nothing works.
I’m on an E3 O365 license and have an active Copilot 365 license. I have admin rights.

Uneven CPU usage
Greetings and salutations,
I’m asking for your help with a situation that I’m not sure is a real problem, but it definitely caught my attention. We bought new hypervisor servers with two AMD EPYC 9174F processors (16 cores, 4.1 GHz, so 32 cores in total ). We are using Hyper-V. The hypervisor hosts only a single VM assigned 16 virtual cores. The VM is running Windows Server 2022 Standard and SQL Server 2019 Standard CU27.
The VM was moved to this AMD hypervisor from another hypervisor, which was equipped with two Intel Xeon Gold 6346 processors (16 cores, 3.1 GHz, 32 cores in total). When monitoring the resource usage of a VM that is now running on the new AMD hypervisor, I see very uneven CPU usage that was not the case on the previous Intel hypervisor.
As you can see in the images from Task Manager and Perfmon, the first 8 cores are significantly more loaded against the other 8. While the core for example core 0 and 1 are on average loaded at 66%, cores 14 and 15 are loaded at 2-4%. The SQL Server ERRORLOG clearly states that all 16 cores are in use, which is confirmed by querying the sys.dm_os_schedulers object.
I’m partially hoping this is a Perfmon-level issue, but I certainly don’t want to underestimate the situation. Perhaps I should direct my question to the Windows forum, but since it is database system, I’m creating a thread here.
Does anyone have any idea how I should go about solving this situation please?

I created quite a long post on the above subject in the tech community and received no response. I have a strong background in projects so I know exactly what I want, I’m trying to exploit MS Planner, and likely lists and forms to the max. I want to build out simple projects based on deliverables, decompose then into tasks, show dependencies and track the tasks once allocated. So network view for deliverables and Board (Kanban) view for tasks are ‘must haves’ This is for a small business. I have used MS Project extensively but don’t want to use that (GANTT view not required).
Where do I start, how far can I get 365 and perhaps cloud VISIO to realise mu project vision?
Any comments or thoughts are most welcome!

Plotting the Bar chart in Matlab
Hi all,
I am plotting the bar chart in matlab with the following code,
x = [1 2 3];
figure,
bar(x,[3 2 1;6 5 4;9 8 7])
Here, I am getting the following chart when I run it, but it should be (3,6,9) should be below the 1(x-axis), (2,5,8) under the 2(x-axis), similarly (1,4,7) in 3(xaxis).
It would be great, if anyone could help.

I used the endpoint https://api.onedrive.com/v1.0/drive/root to retrieve information about the root folder in my personal drive. I observed that the root ID has changed from “8846XXXXXXX!101” to “8846XXXXXXX!sea8cc6befxxxxxxxx”.
Additionally, when I accessed https://api.onedrive.com/v1.0/drive to get information about my drive, I noticed that the drive owner has been altered to a group with no ID and the display name is set to “0b807f8b-c260-4632-841f-fdfdd94be219”.
Could you please confirm if there have been any changes to OneDrive’s API? If so, is there any documentation available regarding this update?

File Explorer suddenly refusing to remember custom view settings
I maintain a bunch of folders containing nothing but program shortcuts, sort of like the Windows 3 Program Manager, and although I’ve configured File Explorer to details view, I always go back and set these to show icons. I can no longer create new shortcuts in Windows 11. After creating a quick link when I want to open it I get the message, This file does not have an app associated with it that can perform this action.
