PV Array unable to connect with Blue N-Channel MOSFET
Object : I trying to simulate a MOSFET Based IV Tracer for PV Module.
Problem :
There have 2 type of MOSFET, first is the Black MOSFET which is under a same category with PV Array and only can adjust a very few parameter. While the second is Blue MOSFET which isn’t under a same category with PV Array but adjust much more parameter that from a real MOSFET datasheet, and the model converted from LTSpice lib also under this category.
Black MOSFET is able to connect with PV Array but Blue MOSFET cant. The reason i sent this email is because the Black MOSFET can’t simualte a normal MOSFET Characteristic IV Curve but Blue one can.

Automatically exclude devices from vulnerability management

I’ve recently been working on improving the Defender security score and noticed that onboarded devices that haven’t checked in recently are affecting Recommended Actions related to the Defender sensor that significantly impact the score (sensor data collection, impaired communications, turn on sensor).
According to Microsoft, devices that haven’t sent any signals to Defender for Endpoint for more than seven days can be considered inactive.
To achieve a more accurate vulnerability management exposure score, the solution is to exclude these inactive devices from vulnerability management.
However, going through these recommendations and manually excluding the exposed devices from vulnerability management isn’t feasible, especially with a large number of endpoints/clients to manage.
Has anyone encountered a similar scenario?

Connection between excel and sharepoint
Hello.
i have interesting thing to solve. My colleague have two tables.
Both of them is pretty similar. One is saved on sharepoint and serve as “input” table. A lot of peoples have access to it and can edit values which they are responsible of. Second table is “presentation table” which my colleague presenting and providing to his superior and its saved in our local shared drive.
Our issue is.. We need to get “presentation table” to automaticaly update with “input table”. I know that simpliest possible solution is put both of tables into one instance. But thanks to our “maladjusted” GM its not possible to move “presentation table” to cloud where is comfortable and simple to gather data from all users.
Second one is update tables by hand, but that is plenty of unnecessary work and it put istelf into risk of mistakes.
so i want to ask here. If you can reccommend me some way to connect tables with each other. I know the way by data connection in excel, but i am not able to import only the values wich i need.
Just short summary. I need to get some data from excel table in sharepoint into local table saved in network drive.

EOM data ready for power BI

Our internal customers web-based EOM data is populated monthly. I can download and save into an excel easy enough.
The question is how am I best to save it and in what format to allow easy connection to Power BI. The data will be the same but will grow by 3000 lines each month.
Should it be 1 big sheet or is there a better way? Should I save it as a table or raw data?

Video Conference Links bypassing call settings and Lobbies

We have recently held a large meeting in which we had adjusted the Teams call settings for only organisers and co-organisers to be able to bypass the lobby and no participants to have audio/video allowed.
Despite this, we had a team dial possibly from the conference ID from one of our meeting rooms in which they were still allowed into the call and their video/audio was on.
Is there anyway to prevent people from dialing in from a location/room to be able to bypass these settings?
We also had a matter where we switched off the lobby feature from settings soon after the call had started (to stop the multiple pings of people wanting to join) but this caused people to be ‘stuck’ in the lobby and Teams would not allow them in. Is there any reason they may have become stuck and is there any work around for this?

Flexible Body Model Builder – Equations used inside the package

I am experimenting with the Flexible body builder app and have some questions regarding the math behind it’s implementation.
StiffnessMatrix: I understand that the stiffness matrix in the output ROM data is calculated from the Young’s modulus and the poison’s ratio. But I want to change this young’s modulus with every run of the simulation without building the flexible body ROM from scratch. For this, I first export the ROM data with E = 1MPa, define the flexible body using the exported ROM data in simscape, and multiply the stiffness matrix with E_flex which is the variable I want to change with every simulation run.
This is because K = EA/L and since E is a scalar, it can be scaled up or down with just a simple scalar multiplication.
I did some experimentation of this usage by exporting stiffness matrices for E = 1MPa, 2MPa,…etc and I can verify that
det ([StiffnessMat.2MPa]-2*[StiffnessMat.1MPa]) = 0
It would be great if you could verify this usage.
Number of Fixed-Interface Normal Modes: What is the optimal number of frequency modes to retain for a given geometry? It would depend on the geometry and the loading conditions themselves. Is there a way to assess what’s a good estimate for this?
Algorithm for model Generation: Is there a quantitative difference between the included integro-differential modeling framework and the PDE toolbox? What is the difference between the two methods. What is the recommended method?

run the system for 24 hours in short period

so i have model in simulink, it runs for Total time=2 seconds, and sampling time for microgrid=1e-6, sampling time for model predictive controller=0.1; the thing is when i run the simulation, it takes about 3 to 4 minutes to finish because of the sampling time, when in fact the Total time is 2 seconds, and i want the axe "X" to show results for 24 hours, so what can i do?
obiously i cannot run it for 24 hours, it will take few days to finish,

Look up between less than or equal to HELP
Hey there people,
This may be a very simple array or LOOKUP formula but my brain doesn’t work like it used to.
If you look at the table above, I am setting up a spreadsheet to look up a figure based of width and height fitting within certain parameters. (This is to do with blinds by the way). If I put in the following:
WIDTH: 2.2
HEIGHT: 2.6
I would need the formular to not only work out where the number sits (I.e. width is less than 2.5 but more than 2.0 but also that the height is less than 3.0 and more than 2.5) and then LOOKUP to give me a result of $1,095.00
I’m wondering if the format of the table I have made needs to be reworked so it will be simpler to do.
Any helpful advice is greatly appreciated.

I want an alternative to Windows 11 moving forward….
I’ve been using Windows 10 for a ridiculously long time, I recently tried out a Windows 11 PC and the file explorer and OneDrive integration was extremely annoying. The worst part about the file explorer was that many of the functions I used on Windows 10 with the right click was hidden behind the “more options” on the right click of windows 11, which essentially opened up the Windows 10 right click menu behind it. The whole Windows 11 experience felt like a really bad skin cover up over a Windows 10 computer. The “open new desktop window” was ridiculous. I really feel like it’s more difficult to be productive with windows 11. I make music with my P.C. and I edit videos, and I also browse the net.
I do think it’s possible that I got a fake Windows 11 PC from a refurbisher on Amazon, but if Windows 11 really was what I tried out, I definitely think there should be an alternative to Windows 11 that doesn’t have so much “AI” integration.
One of the simplest things I do on my Windows 10 is utilize the drag and drop function between file folders on Windows 10 to copy them between two folders, I do this by opening two instances of the file explorer, it’s super nice for file management and for some reason windows 11 felt way more difficult to manage files if I remember correctly. Also, in Windows 10 there was a way to change the view of the programs or files either as icons or as a list. For some reason the file explorer in Windows 10 never remembers my options for each folder and I have to constantly change it. Like, if music files were always displayed as a list with lots of metadata, and pictures were always displayed in file explorer with medium or large icons, everything would be great. The point being, I do a lot of things manually in Windows 10, and the Windows 11 PC I tried felt like it was made for children. Only other problem I have with windows 10 is the PC options screens are needlessly complicated and hide too many setting behind underlined/highlighted text from the windows menu on the bottom left, I actually think Windows 7 had a better P.C. options screen.
Basically I think there should be a alternative to Windows 11 that is a bit more “old school” for people who like to do things more manually. I’m 26, I’ve been using Windows 10 for over 6 years now, I’ve gotten a lot of creative projects done with Windows 10, Windows 11 does not appeal to me at all. Now I’m in a tough spot because I don’t want to use windows 11, yet functionality support is ending for windows 10. Although one time I booted up in safe mode and it said my O.S. was Windows (R), which is weird because I always customize my desktop theme to have a dark background and Red highlights… Am I currently using a Windows 11 alternative called Windows (R)?

Clicking on a .dotm file now opens a new document and not the template?
I keep Word templates for projects in the relevant SharePoint sites so that all users have access to them (i.e. the document stays linked to the relevant template). I edit them from time to time, which was easy up until this morning, where now instead of the template opening when I click on it, I get a “Document 1” new document.
How am I supposed to open the template itself now?
I know I can sync the library and edit the template that way, however I often run into syncing issues as the template often ends up “in use” when people have a document attached to it open.
