email help needed
Hello (anybody). First of all I should say. I’ve had a few brain strokes and although I’m getting better I’m still making lots n lots of mistakes.
Anyway I had an email address with of *****btinternet.com though my brandband comes through Virgin media supplier. There hasn’t been a problem for years. Until now.
So now I’m not receiving emails except for Microsoft calender noticifications. I can assess emails (30k history of them is there) via the BT log in page but still can’t send out.
I set up a free email address with outlook.com and at first I received and could send emails now alas I cant assess anything.
My subscription for my old MS 365 account is in date. So, Do I need to end my original Microsoft account or will I have to set up and pay for new MS outlook 365 subscription?
I just want my new outlook.com email to work

Tuning ExperienceHorizon hyperparamter for PPO agent (Reinforcement Learning)
Hello everyone,
I’m trying to train a PPO agent, and I would like to change the value for the ExperienceHorizon hyperparameter (Options for PPO agent – MATLAB – MathWorks Switzerland)
When I try another value than the default, the agent wait for the end of the episode to update its policy. For example, ExperienceHorizon=1024 don’t work for me, dispite the episode’s lenght of more than 1024 steps. I’m also not using Parallel training.
I also get the same issue if I change the MiniBatchSize from its default value.
Is there anything I’ve missed about this parameter?

is it possible to see what variables and functions affecting a certain variable ?
hello everyone,
i am having a little problem, i need to figure out what affects one variable. that variable is in a for loop, which is in a function, which is also in a function and several values are also calculated by several other functions…
i do know i can have a chart what functions are involved and how they are affect each other, when i have a project. however, i cant see the variables there, or if i dont know how.

Virtual Network Gateway Basic SKU and Diagnostic settings
I’ve setup a VNET GW with the basic SKU.
I can configure the diagnostic settings to store on a Log Analytics workspace. But despite the Log type I select, it doesn’t appear nothing on the Log Analytics workspace. It seems to work with a Standard SKU.
Anyone aware if this is a limitation?
I cannot find anything on the documentation, and I got warnings when I configure the diagnostics settings.

Shared Mailbox Permissions for Groups
In Microsoft 365 Admin Centre I have a Shared Mailbox (“myMailbox”)
I would like to add Read and Manage permissions to this mailbox for a Group of users (“myGroup”).
Is this possible?
The end goal is to be able to give multiple (say 100) users Read access to one Shared Mailbox – currently the only way this is possible is to give each individual member the permission. I was hoping to be able to create a group, add the members to that group and then grant permissions to that group (essentially Group-Based Access Control).

Issue with deleting an M365 group – Can’t remove the excluded group from retention policy
We have a retention policy in place for all groups within the org.
To my understanding should a request come in from a user asking to delete a Teams SharePoint site, we have to add the group attached to this SharePoint site to the excluded list within our Group retention policy. This then removes the retention from the SP site so we can then delete the site which also deletes the group.
When I then try to remove the group from the excluded list in the retention policy it errors as the group no longer exists within the tenant. Due to this, the policy then ends up in an ‘error’ status. How do I get the policy to a status of success? After running tests, the only way I have been able to remove the group from the excluded list in the retention policy is to restore the group but this of course restores SharePoint site which is back to square one.
Am I missing a trick here? How can this be by design if not?

Calculation template with source data
Hi
I have created a travel package calculation spreadsheet. I have saved it as a template, and my plan is that for each travel package we have, we shall create a new document.
In in the original document/template – i have a seperate tab called Data! where i have exchange rates, different mark-up levels depending on what kind of product it is, and admin and visa fees.
My thought is that when creating a new package, i use the template and save a copy for each travel package. But i want the new files to be linked to the oringal templates, so that when i change the exchange rates this will be reflected in each new file. The update of exchange rates does not have to be automatically, but i would like to go into each file, and push a button

I want to download the MATLAB Runtime (MCR) 7.5 version.
However, when I run the .exe file, I get the following warning.
"Error 1723. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support or package vendor"

How to use modern features (notably std::unique_ptr) in the C++ code of my S-functions while using the linaro v4.8 toolchain in embedded coder?
Background
I am using simulink with S-functions containing custom C++ code. My simulink model runs on an ARM board running Linux, using embedded coder. My C++ code uses unique pointers (std::unique_ptr). The toolchain I use is Linaro v4.8.
The error
I get the following error when building the Linux executable using the simulink ‘build’ button:
C:/my_path/cpp/src/my_class.h:13:5: error: ‘unique_ptr’ in namespace ‘std’ does not name a type
My idea
I suspect that the C++ version being compiled to is < c++11, and I would like to force the g++ compiler to compile the code using c++11. I can’t change compiler flags in the simulink menu, it is grayed out.
I found the linaro toolchain xml file and changed compiler flags there, but when I look at the compiler command generated in simulink I do not see the -std=c++11 compiler flag anywhere.

When someone posts news on the SharePoint site, some users receive notifications in their Teams. How can I turn off these notifications from the SharePoint site admin side?

Trying to create Subsite
I have just signed up to 365 Basic Plan and trying to create a Sharepoint Subsite but seemingly nothing I’ve tried has worked.
I’m the only user set up so have full permission as owner and I can’t see any option under Site creation to enable subsite permissions. I’ve also tried unselecting the Create a shared library from OneDrive.

List Hyperlink active based on value
Hi All,
I have a hyperlink column which need to get active only when display text is “Yes”. The two other option “No” and “Not Required” when entered should not create a hyperlink. Hi, I am looking to explore the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint server license vs Defender for servers plan 2 licensing.
We do have existing licenses available for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint server licenses and we would like to make use of this license in azure to avoid double payment of licenses.
Can someone help me understand how does this credit process work? i know starting point is raising a ticket with MS. Can we get the credit if we have only spare licenses? what if i have licenses being used on onboarded servers still can i request credit?
