New Blog | Introducing the MDTI Premium Data Connector for Sentinel
The MDTI and Unified Security Operations Platform teams are excited to introduce an MDTI data connector available in the Unified Security Operations Platform and standalone Sentinel experiences. The connector enables customers to apply the powerful raw and finished threat intelligence in MDTI, including high-fidelity indicators of compromise (IoCs), across their security operations to detect and respond to the latest threats.
Microsoft researchers, with the backing of interdisciplinary teams of thousands of experts spread across 77 countries, continually add new analysis of threat activity observed across more than 78 trillion threat signals to MDTI, including powerful indicators drawn directly from threat infrastructure. Marge type replication error
I have two sql servers that receive data from an application, they replicate in marge mode. I turned off the replicant and it was off for a couple of hours. I also stopped the sql service and the replication agent. When I turned it back on I lost some data as it aligned. Can you help me recover them and understand what happened?

Publishing UWP application for a specific model of XBox

Currently we have an UWP application which is compatible with all XBox versions.
We would like to publish an update but only for XBox One(NOT for XBox X and S).

How to migrate SQL MI to different region
We created our Azure SQL MI in region US West, which does not support Zone redundancy. While we don’t require it now, we may require it in the future. What options do we have now vs later to enable this? We have not gone live yet so we have the option to rebuild it entirely in a supported region, but if we decide not to do that, are there other options? I’m thinking we would set up a new Azure SQL MI in a new region and use Availability Groups to replicate the data.

Pinned channels: no breadcrumb trail to quickly go to the parent Team?
When we go to a pinned channel, there’s no quick way of going ‘up’ a level to the parent Team’s ‘general channel’. I’d expect the team icon at the top left of the pinned channel to be a hyperlink. Is anybody else frustrated by this lack of functionality.

todos are disappearing periodically
My todos in microsoft outlook have been disappearing. They are all older tasks, started a few years ago and they have a lot of history and important information in the task record. Is there version compatibility for the Model Advisor Configuration?
I get the following error message when trying to load a MATLAB R2020a Model Advisor Configuration JSON file in MATLAB R2020b:
Unable to load check "mathworks.jmaab.jc_0627". The check information specified in configuration file might be different than information needed for this release of the check. For example, if the number of check input parameters has changed from a previous release when you open the configuration file, the check does not load.
I confirmed that the check "jc_0627" exists in both R2020a and R2020b.
To produce this issue, I selected only "Check usage of Discrete-Time Integrator block (jc_0627)" in Model Advisor and saved it as a JSON file through the Model Advisor Configuration Editor in MATLAB R2020a. Then I loaded the saved JSON in R2020b through Model Advisor Configuration Editor. However, when I tested the above same workflow in R2020b to R2021a, there is no compatibility issue. I need to run Optimization using models I generated in Regression Learner

I desperately need help. As the title says, I generated multiple surrogate models on Regression Learner; now I need to use these models in a gradient-based optimization process.
I’ve tried Export>Generate Function & Export>Export Model / Export Model For Deployment. None of them work, I don’t understand how anything works. If I can convert the surrogate models into matlab functions, these matlab functions are supposed to go into the ‘select problem data>Objective function’? How do I define lower/upper bounds with just one value for each when the surrogate models have multiple inputs?? How do I define non-linear constraints??

App Permission Policy set to block all Microsoft Apps – Impact on Core apps
I’m looking to restrict the apps a user can use within MS teams. We have not yet migrated to app centric management and we are using app permission policies for this currently. Out of the box it seems the Global (Org-wide Default) app permission policies allows all MS apps such as ‘Approvals’, ‘Planner’ etc. If I set the global policy as Microsoft -> Block All Apps will this still allow usage of the core apps like OneDrive,Excel etc. ?

Hi everyone, last week we had a series of posts to show you some of the things that are possible to do with Copilot in Excel, focused on adding calculated columns to complete tasks. Continuing with Copilot in Excel examples, this week’s topic will be getting help from Copilot with the chat helper.

I swear the ineptitude of Microsoft support knows no bounds. You give us the option to upload a video, but the format for which the WINDOWS OS’s SNIPPET TOOL USES AS WELL AS CIipChamp that is referenced as a program to edit with FROM THE SNIPPING TOOL (which this forum WOULDN’T even allow me to have as a word here…) uses MP4 BUT MP4 IS NOT ALLOWED…
I mean seriously who is in charge of this madness!? They should be ejected into the sun for this sort of stupidity, and then the tool tip gives you 0 information as well as the error. So freaking annoying and stupid.

SPO Recurring Event issues
To give a brief background, I initially created an event “SharePoint Refresher Session”, intended for users who had recently migrated from SharePoint ’07 to SharePoint Online.
I had to add users to this individually which was difficult to track when users switched departments.
In addition to this, when users declined this event it disappeared from their calendar forever, despite perhaps wanting to attend a session down the line.
It also seemed to send out invitational reminders to users every 1-3 months which resulted in users receiving unwanted invites.
As a result, I decided to make the meeting joinable instead of by invite and so set up a meeting and creating an event on SharePoint, sharing a joinable link.
The first session took place last Wednesday and we had no issues, I’m happy to say.
So last week I found out you could set a recurring event in SharePoint Online by creating a single event, going to site contents > Events > Editing the single occurrence and selecting the box to make it a recurring event.
I made this event recurring on the 2nd Wednesday of each month which was perfect as this is what my prior meeting was set for.
The first issue I saw was that it autogenerated an end date, even when you didn’t put one in.
If you select ‘no end date’, it’ll insert the last available end date available to it e.g., July 11 2071.
As well as that, the month part of that end date will always appear under the first date in the icon.
I can work around the above, it’s not the end of the world.
However, I’ve also noticed that once the event is over (currently 5 days after the event) it’s still at the top of my existing events.
To move it I had to manually change the start date (which nullifies the usefulness of the recurring event), which produced further issues which have since been rectified.
I’m just wondering is there a known solution to this or is it just easier to keep creating individual monthly events instead.

To give a brief background, I initially created an event “SharePoint Refresher Session”, intended for users who had recently migrated from SharePoint ’07 to SharePoint Online. I had to add users to this individually which was difficult to track when users switched departments. In addition to this, when users declined this event it disappeared from their calendar forever, despite perhaps wanting to attend a session down the line. It also seemed to send out invitational reminders to users every 1-3 months which resulted in users receiving unwanted invites. As a result, I decided to make the meeting joinable instead of by invite and so set up a meeting and creating an event on SharePoint, sharing a joinable link. The first session took place last Wednesday and we had no issues, I’m happy to say. So last week I found out you could set a recurring event in SharePoint Online by creating a single event, going to site contents > Events > Editing the single occurrence and selecting the box to make it a recurring event. Assistance with Folder, Alias E-mail, and Focus/Other Tab
I have an alias e-mail that for a while showed up on the left-hand side of the outlook app and worked perfectly. Suddenly the App started changing my Focused/Other tabs to All/Unread, which caused the alias e-mail address to disappear (including the dropdown functions that include Inbox, Drafts, Junk Email, Outbox, Sent Mail, etc.). My App does not allow me to use View>View Focus E-mails and change the function. Thus, I went to the online/web version of outlook and made sure that the View by Focus/Other Tabs was checked. When I restarted the Outlook App, it worked at first and populated the alias e-mail and dropdown menu as if everything would smoothly like before. But then it disappeared, notably at the same time the Focused/Other tabs changed against to All/Unread.
If you follow, it seems that I’ve changed what I can to show Focused/Other Tabs but my Outlook App wants to reconfigure itself for some reason, about one to two minutes after loading. I do not want to only access the alias e-mail inbox via the web/online browser so my question is: How to fix this issue or “revert” the Outlook App to work as it was before.

How do I find libraries with unsaved changes?
I’m trying to build code via rtwbuild and am being met with the error Selected subsystem is linked to a library with unsaved changes. Please save the library.
I’ve been manually looking through the model and can’t see anything with unsaved changes or broken links. And there seems to be no easy way to find the library with unsaved changes in question. Am I missing something or is there a way to find these libraries?
