Hi everyone,
I am trying to use Monitor & Tune (External Mode over Serial) on a custom STM32H750VBTx board, but I always get the following error:
My setup:
Custom STM32H750VBTx board
ST-LINK V3 for programming
FT232RL USB-to-TTL for External Mode
USART3 (PD8 = TX, PD9 = RX)
COM7, 115200 baud
Target: STM32H7xx Based (Single-core)
I have already verified:
MCU is running (heartbeat LED works).
USART3 is working correctly. I can transmit "Hello" continuously and receive it on PuTTY through COM7.
FT232RL, wiring, and baud rate are all correct.
USART3 is selected for External Mode in Simulink.
Since UART communication works correctly, I’m not sure why the STM32 is not responding to the XCP CONNECT command.
Has anyone successfully used Monitor & Tune with a custom STM32H7 board? Is there any additional configuration required for External Mode or XCP?
Thank you.Hi everyone,
