SharePoint List changing percentage value after input
Hi,
We have a SP List incorporated on out SP site to collect data.
Two of the column are formatted as Number columns with “Show as percentage” checked.
For the past two months, input was as expected.
When we enter value: 74, in the Form; 74% is displayed in the list.
As of June 08, 2024 the behavior of the column in the List has changed.
Now, if we enter the same value of: 74, in the Form, it displays as: 0,74%. (or just 0,5% depending on how may decimal places we use)
When we troubleshoot, no explanation can be found for this error.
Also, historical data from previous months is unchanged and still shows a whole number in percent.
We have also tried to add a new Number column, showing as percentage, and the error still prevails.
Footnote: After submitting the Form, for a second only, 74% is shown before it changes to 0,74% in the List. view.
I should mention that the list is used in a PowerBI report.
Have there been any changes to SP List or could the PowerBI formatting override the List column formatting?

Problem with “IF” function
Hello,
I would like to calculate the income tax for Greece, which from zero euros to €12,000 has a rate of 15%, from €12,001 to €35,000 has a rate of 35% and from €35,001 and above has a rate of 45%.
Example :
– for an amount of €14,700 the income tax is €2,745
– for an amount of 37,000 the income tax is €10,750
I wrote the function:
=IF(A1<=12000, A1*0.15, IF(A1<=35000, 12000*0.15 + (A1-12000)*0.35, 12000*0.15 + 23000*0.35 + (A1-35000)*0.45))
but it gives me an error.

Copy Data from First Colum from Active Cell Row
Hi, I am just wondering if someone could please assist me in getting a script working for me as I’ve got a script to insert a new line/row to where the selected cell is and insert shift direction down.

Broken MS Teams media preview for my personal account

For the past few weeks I’ve had problems loading media in my personal Teams. Other users in our Personal Teams community (of which I am the “owner” user) do not experience it.
The problem strangely happens both on Desktop and on mobile (Android).
This first happened about 1 week ago. At that point, I reached out to MS support who told me that the issue had just been patched on desktop applications and was about to be patched for Android. Moments later, when I checked my Android app, images and video were suddenly loading as expected. I find it strange that this should be related to a “patch” as there were no software update indications visible on any of my devices (Android and Windows). It seems more like a server issue related to my account.
Worse still, the issue has now started occurring again. My family are able to share and view pictures on their devices, but I cannot view them on my laptop or on my Android phone. What could be the issue?

Purview Insider Risk Management – Site Classification

We use Purview IRM to monitor for data risks. Its tuned and working very well for us. I have a question around the way one of the triggers classifies the activity. I’m sure its easy to change I just cant figure it out so any help appreciated.
We trigger a number of Cumulative exfiltration activity events, with the main trigger being xxx events: Files copied to personal cloud storage: when we look at the activity explorer event we can see that its files being uploaded to either Corporate OneDrive or SharePoint.
My question is I cant find where I can re-classify our SharePoint portals as Corporate and not personal, essentially I don’t care that people are uploading to our corporate portals. Its the D/Ling that’s important.
Its driving me nuts trying to find it! Please help

Question on pnp search in sharepoint
Hi Guys,
I need some advice with an issue I am facing when setting up PNP Search.
I have a SharePoint Document library that has :
-Default columns such as TITLE, Modified etc.
-A New “choice” column I created named “Document type”
The purpose behind creating above new column is to automatically be populated with values (Internal or External) Depending on whether the document is dropped into the “internal” or “External” folder in this library. So I have configured this default value setting in the library. So this metadata column is auto tagged with either of these values based on where document is put.
I have then configured a site page (in this site) which is basically a document hub. The purpose of this page is to have pnp search results, pnp search box and pnp search filter webparts.
I am trying to get the “document type” column to show up in the pnp search results webpart (and also the filter webpart). But I am unable to get it to show up. It only shows the default columns available in that library. I tried to edit this webpart and add the column but unable to get it to show.
Any help would be appreciated.

Azure Logic apps and Azure Alerts – Getting info from the logs

I have been migrating from legacy log alerts to scheduled query rules which I use for monitoring our on-prem server. The process was painless but the new email alerts compared to the legacy ones are missing important fields like computer name, event data and description which means we have to go into Azure, drill through the logs and find the issue – time consuming.
I then found I could use Azure Logic apps for the alert notifications and following this Microsoft guide (LINK) I got that setup and it is working but I am still missing the fields in the email. My questions is how do I pull in the data from the Log query result into the Logic App, ideally I’d want the following columns from the logs – Computer, Eventlevelname, RenderedDescription.
Any pointers gratefully received.

Help to find last balance of account for person
Hi All,
I have a large data set which contains prices of a product and the volume (unit held) for each date. However, I am looking to change the price of units, which in turn would change the volume of units transacted. The dataset contains multiple buyers, products and dates. So if I change the price, in turn the units transacted would change and therefore the closing balance. Is there an easy way to find this new/adjusted balance for that person and product?
If someone places an order for $1,000 and price is $100, have 10 units. Then if I change price to $50, they would now have 20 units in that product. However the spreadsheet contains multiple products, and am unsure of the last date they traded to find their current balance when it comes to newer transactions.
Can anyone please assist with a formula which can find their last balance of units?

Help with FIND in VBA
Hello, I am trying to create a macro in VBA, that can find a certain word within a range (row 4), then do actions based on the result. The resulting actions I have working, but I can’t get them to be driven by the initial search.
I tried to use a FIND function to search for “WK4”, however, it’s not able to find it because it’s in amongst other text, i.e “Sepetember WK4”. I need it to be able to find if there is any “WK4” in row 4 of my sheet, among other text as mentioned. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

Planner Plan 1 features missing
I’m on a trial of Planner Plan 1 but don’t see the features such as Timeline view, project goals or task dependencies. I don’t see anything that makes this worth paying a monthly subscription for – is anyone else on this plan able to confirm if they can see these features?

How do I set the display language and region format for all users and set the company default?
Hi,
How do I set the display language to English (United Kingdom) and the region format to English (United Kingdom) for all our existing users? and then change the defaults so that new users have them set automatically?
Basically we keep rolling Power BI reports and things out and users language and display settings are all set as US which ends up displaying dates etc… wrong. Turns out this is the culprit, however they need to go to office.com and login and then Change your language and timezone. I don’t want to have to do this for every user or have to guide them to it. Can I change this via admin for all? and then set defaults so all new users have that set? we are a UK company so would not want anything else.
