ILT Retirement Announcement:
Microsoft strives to provide the best learning experience for our Microsoft Learn global community.
As we continue to explore and enhance the delivery experience of Applied Skills for our Learners, we have decided to officially retire the Applied Skills assessment for AZ-1001: Deploy and manage containers using Azure Kubernetes Service, as of June 16th, 2024.

What does this mean for ILT deliveries of AZ-1001: Deploy and manage containers using Azure Kubernetes Service?
The ILT for this course will be retired on July 31st, 2024. This will ensure any future scheduled deliveries are accommodated.
All Trainer materials and assets on the Learning Download Center (LDC) will be retired on July 31st, 2024.
If my Trainer did not take the Applied Skills assessment for this course, can they still deliver a scheduled ILT?
This will be left to the discretion of the Training Services Partner.
We highly recommend following the 1-Day ILT with no credential standard, outlined in the Title Plan, under the MCT Competencies tab, and stated below.
Teaching this type of course is at the discretion of the MCT and/or the Training Services Partner.
We strongly suggest that the MCT has relevant expertise in the technical area of the course content.
