All users are receiving the following error when clicking Approve or Decline in the email form for SharePoint access requests: Could not complete the requested action. Please try again later.

These users have the appropriate permissions as the workaround to navigate to the SharePoint Online access request page and Approve/Decline works without issue. The error is only occurring in Outlook (desktop client and web client).

I’ve attached a couple screenshots. The error pops up whether you select Edit or View, and whether you click Approve or Decline. 

I do have a ticket open with Microsoft, but it’s been open for a week and no resolution yet, so I’m hoping to find someone else who’s seen this and solved it.
