Choice column limit?
In a SharePoint list I have used a choice column to prevent the entries from being spelled differently when entering, this is to aid in data analysis. I have just tried to enter a choice, but it is not available whilst editing in grid view, but is available in the side panel editing view. Is there a maximum number of choices available?

Outlook online versus outlook local
While transferring Outlook from one PC to another (new installation, but transferring data) I encountered some minor
problems. Because of this, I would like to know more about how the Outlook Online versus Outlook locally construction works.
And in particular how Outlook handles its system files, Outlook.com (with or without the suffix .ost). Where can I find such
technical information?
Greetings Rien.

Where do I find Windows 10 Pro product key?
Hi community,
I made a completely reinstall of Windows 10 Pro on his old PC. After installation, Windows 10 Pro asks to activate Windows 10 and there is a watermark appearing on the desktop all the times. I bought the key from someone and no way to find the person now.
My question is that where do I find Windows 10 pro product key? Is the product key bound to the motherboard? Much appreciated if you could help me retrieve Windows 10 product key without paying again.
Thank you

Unlock the Power of Microsoft Copilot Studio: Build Your Personalized AI Copilot
I’m Raiyan Bin Sarwar, Microsoft Student Ambassador (Beta) and third-year Computer Science and Engineering student at Bangladesh University of Professionals. As someone passionate about exploring the tech world, today I’ll be guiding you how to build your very own customized Copilot using Microsoft’s Copilot Studio. Whether you’re an AI enthusiast or just curious about how to create an intelligent assistant, this step-by-step guide will help you get started.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been making waves across industries, and one of the exciting areas is the creation of personal AI copilots to automate tasks, source data, and improve workflows. With the powerful tools in Copilot Studio, building your own customized AI assistant has never been easier.
Step 1: Sign In to Copilot Studio
Let’s start by signing in and setting up your project.
Go to the Copilot Studio portal and sign in using your Microsoft Edumail or Student Partners Account.
Create a New Copilot
Click on “New Copilot” Name your Copilot and either select a template or start from scratch. Templates help streamline the process if you’re unsure about your starting point.
Set Generative AI Settings
In the settings, select ‘Generative (Previews)’ to enable real-time data generation. This setting allows your Copilot to process and provide dynamic responses from the most up-to-date information.
Define Your Copilot’s Purpose
Clearly outline what your Copilot will be responsible for. Will it automate tasks? Source data? Or improve workflows? For instance, I built a Copilot to manage university-related inquiries using data from my institution’s website.
Step 2: Configure the Knowledge Base
This is where your Copilot learns. Connect it to trusted data sources so that it can draw information to answer queries or perform tasks.
Public Websites
Link to knowledge bases or reliable academic resources. For my Copilot, I linked the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) website to efficiently handle inquiries related to university activities.
2. SharePoint
You can also upload documents from your SharePoint, which makes it useful for internal corporate use.
3. Files
Import documents directly from your local storage. This is helpful for smaller-scale projects.
4. Dataverse (Preview)
Customize and deploy structured data tables through Microsoft Dataverse, enabling powerful data management within your Copilot.
5. Microsoft Fabric (Coming Soon)
Soon, you’ll be able to integrate enterprise data through Microsoft Fabric, expanding the scope of your Copilot’s potential.
Step 3: Test and Deploy
This is the critical phase where you ensure everything works as intended.
Deployment
Once you’re satisfied with the testing results, deploy your Copilot on your chosen platform. This can be for internal tools, public-facing websites, or even as your personal assistant.
Testing Phase
It’s crucial to assess how well your Copilot handles different types of queries. For example, if your Copilot is designed to automate tasks, test it with real-world scenarios, such as scheduling meetings or answering customer inquiries. Continuously refine its learning by feeding it more accurate data, and customize its responses for specific use cases.
You can extend the capabilities of your copilot by adding one or more actions. Actions are used by your copilot to respond to users automatically, using generative actions, or you can call them explicitly from within a topic.
Add an action
Open your custom copilot by choosing Copilots in the left hand navigation pane and selecting your copilot from the list.
Select Actions to view actions for the copilot.
Select + Add an action.
In the Choose an action (preview) wizard, search for an action you want to use and select it.
Here, I’ve connected MSN Weather for weather forecast updates.
Real-Life Use Case
In my personal experience, I developed a Copilot that sources information directly from the BUP website. This allowed the university’s administrative team to streamline inquiries, saving both time and resources. Imagine building a similar Copilot for your business to automate customer support or even a student assistant for academic queries!
Additional Resources
To deepen your knowledge and take your Copilot development to the next level, I recommend these resources:
Get started with Microsoft 365 Copilot
Testing Results
Finally, remember that testing is an iterative process. If your Copilot provides incorrect answers, refine the knowledge base by inputting correct information. Over time, this will optimize its performance and ensure that it’s providing value in real-world applications.

Efficient Management of Append and Page Blobs Using Azure Storage Actions
Overview
In Azure Storage, Blob Lifecycle Management (BLM) allows you to automate the management of your data based on rules defined by the user. Lifecycle management policies are supported for block blobs and append blobs in general-purpose v2, premium block blob, and Blob Storage accounts. However, since lifecycle management (BLM) policies are not supported for page blobs, we can effectively manage the lifecycle of page blobs and append blobs through storage tasks and actions. There are solutions like Logic Apps and Azure Functions are available to automate lifecycle management and below are reference links:
Lifecycle Management, Page Blob, Azure Storage, Blob Storage (microsoft.com)
Delete all the Azure Storage Blob content before N days using Logic App – Microsoft Community Hub
The focus of this blog is on demonstrating how to achieve the same goal using built-in storage actions and tasks
NOTE: Azure Storage Actions is currently in PREVIEW and is available these regions. Please refer: About Azure Storage Actions Preview – Azure Storage Actions Preview | Microsoft Learn
By leveraging these storage actions, we can automate the retention, deletion, and archival of page blobs and append blobs based on custom-defined rules, ensuring efficient lifecycle management without relying on external services. This method provides a more direct, storage-centric approach to managing page blob lifecycles.
For example, we have both page blobs and append blobs within a container, and we would like to delete them using Azure storage actions and tasks.
In this article, you’ll learn how to create a storage task.
Create a task
In the Azure portal, search for Storage Tasks. Then, under Services, select Storage tasks – Azure Storage Actions.
On the Azure Storage Actions | Storage Tasks page, select Create.
Basics tab
On the Basics tab, provide the essential information for your storage task.
Conditions tab
On the Conditions tab, define the conditions that must be met by each object (container or blob), and the operations to perform on the object.
You must define at least one condition and one operation. To add a clause to a condition, select Add new clause. To add operations, select Add new operation. In this scenario, we are selecting the blob types as Page Blobs and Append Blobs to perform the delete operation.
Assignments tab
An assignment identifies a storage account and a subset of objects in that account that the task will target. An assignment also defines when the task runs and where execution reports are stored.
To add an assignment, select Add assignment. This step is optional. You don’t have to add an assignment to create the task.
Tags tab
On the Tags tab, you can specify Resource Manager tags to help organize your Azure resources.
Review + create tab
When you navigate to the Review + create tab, Azure runs validation on the storage task settings that you have chosen. If validation passes, you can proceed to create the storage task.
If validation fails, then the portal indicates which settings need to be modified.
Once you have created the storage task then please go to the respective storage account to enable the storage task assignment.
Enable the task assignment
Storage task assignments are disabled by default. Enable assignments from the Assignments page.
Periodically select Refresh to view an updated status.
Until the task runs and then completes, the string in progress appears beneath the Last run status column. When the task completes, the string Completed appears in that column.
After successfully completing the task, we observed that both the page blobs and append blobs were deleted from the container.
View results of the task run
After the task completes running, you can view the results of the run.
Select the View report link to download a report.

Looking for best practices or advice setting up product stocking workbook
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice best practices to build pivot tables and charts for reports on an inventory tracking Workbook. I built worksheets to track food, beverage, condiments, etc for 7 floors (red, green) and 6 (blue) departments we support.
The red and green worksheets have 40 columns of inventory items and the blue floors each have 20 columns of inventory items. There is a separate worksheet that I built that updates the price per unit when I update the prices monthly.
I built a master table using append but it requires each spreadsheet have 65 matching columns multiplied by 365 days each. I’ll clean up the empty rows but my master appended table created a clunky 9500 row table. I can’t link the price sheet automatically and can’t create reports that include cost info. I can get it to update my master append table using refresh. I’ve have built pivot tables and charts that also function. I can’t use the queries to build financial reports.
I also tried separating the worksheets into separate workbooks and used the data model but didn’t succeed. I tried importing a file containing the worksheet without success.
Any advice from the community as to which features in Excel might help me create a more efficient way than having 65 column x 9500 row appended table please? It shouldn’t need to be 65 columns each worksheet. Next year the table will double to a 17000 row table. Next, how does the data model or power queries ink the food items worksheet to my tables? I’m so close but can’t get it.
Thank you
TI

‘Hide’ assignments
Hi
I am new to the MS Teams Classroom and really like the way it looks so far.
I teach a group that is self paced and want to be able to give access to assignments to individual students once the have completed the learning materials, is this possible? I find that when the assignments are available my students tend to go straight there skipping the learning materials.

AWS Chime based apps (Slack or 3CX) calls drop-out – Only on Intune enrolled MacOS 15 + MS Defender
Hi @Intune_Support_Team ,
I have recently come across with an Issue.
Issue: Call Dropout, Network freeze on AV Calls for Apps / Platforms
Description: I have noticed this issue on only MacOS Devices enrolled on Intune; that are later updated to MacOS15 Sequioa using Intune policy Mac Update policy + MS Defender for Endpoint Enrolled, with MS Defender Network Filter added to the list, hangs / freezes AV calls for 2-3 seconds like a network glitch on Slack Huddles.
This also happens on 3CX Telephone app in bit different way as 3CX agent’s audio is not heard by far-end Customer.
Both of these only happens on Device upgraded to MacOS 15 + Defender + Network Filter with just Slack and 3CX. Google Meet, Zoom, Teams works well.
NOTE : Compared to a Device which is not on Intune /Defender with MacOS 15 Slack Huddle and 3CX is a Charm.
I also tried initially to look into Apple MacOS bugs, didnt find much, then raised a request to Slack Support, In Response I got this
Hi there Swapnil,
Thanks for contacting Slack support. What is happening here is that users are losing media connectivity to the huddles server, causing them to drop and then be reconnected. This can happen for a number of reasons, but if you’ve recently updated to macOS 15 Sequoia, there is a macOS networking bug which is highly likely to be the cause in this case (https://support.apple.com/en-au/102281).
The issue is as follows:
Overall the connection may be completely fine.
Suddenly the media connection to the huddles server stops completely (even if the rest of the internet connection is fine).
After the huddles server detects a period of no data being sent/received, it forces the client to reconnect to the huddle.
This can help for some time but it may eventually repeat again through each huddle.
Unfortunately in each case we cannot help explain the exact underlying cause is as it occurs on the end of each users network environment. In your case however, if users are experiencing the issue after upgrading to macOS 15, the aforementioned networking bug is the most likely cause.
Normally the causes of these kinds of issues are as follows:
Firewall or other network configuration closing websockets media connections.
The macOS Sequoia bug causes this specific kind of problem.
Overzealous modem/router throttling media connections.
ISP throttling media connections.
On the another response they also mentioned about something is probably not right with MS Defender Network Filter blocking out traffic for AWS Chime Server.
Hi Swapnil,
Thanks for your reply. Because there are so many variables we aren’t going to be tracking this on our side.
One thing I would say is that you should just be sure that there are no third party dependencies in your macOS environment which might be in need of an update. I’ll give you a random example:
Organisations using the Zscaler client connector would have encountered a variation of this issue (https://help.zscaler.com/client-connector/firewall-posture-check-failure-macos-sequoia).
The macOS updates alone would not have addressed it, Zscaler needed to issue an update to their client connector software.
Until users were running the Zscaler client with the relevant fix, no amount of system updates would have prevented them from running into the compatibility issue.
So all I am saying is that you should be keeping an eye out for updates to both macOS and any relevant 3rd party dependencies – it’s possible you will need to take manual action in some way first.
The public facing macOS updates tend to be quite vague, so it is probably best to start with MS Defender and any other relevant 3rd party configurations before waiting on a macOS update to ultimately fix the issue. You may also prefer to pre-emptively seek confirmation from their respective support services so you know exactly what your next steps are.
I hope this gives you a better idea on how to approach the issue and plan for updates Swapnil, and apologies I couldn’t provide more guidance.
After reading about this I tried to dig little more and understood, 3CX is also using AWS Chime A/V Servers.
My users are stuck and losing their Slack Huddles which is day to day quick AV.
Any insightful info on this one will be helpful.
Thanks
Swapnil

Accessing more than 1 One Drive account on PC
I currently use Dropbox for all my document storage, I don’t keep any documents/files on the hard drive of my computer.
I have two clients with Sharepoint (and also myself) and wanted to be able to use Sharepoint the way I use Dropbox, with it working on my computer so that I could search, save etc directly.
Reading info, it seemed that One Drive would allow that, but when I tried to install One Drive for one of the clients, my personal One Drive disappeared and was taken over by the client’s One Drive. Luckily I didn’t have anything important in One Drive.
Does One Drive work like Dropbox on my computer, with the search/save etc as if it was accessing the C: drive.
Is it possible to have more than one One Drive account set up on my computer, and be able to see all the accounts, as if they were just separate folders, like Dropbox appears.
Hope this makes sense.
