PWA Tasks View for an individual and task usage view
We are currently using PWA as our project management tool. We have a task that runs from Mon 29/04/24 Fri 03/05/24 for 15 hours of work in total. The assigned resource can see the task and total work in their task view:
However, there are no planned hours in the current period.
When the view is changed to task usage in the plan the scheduled hours are shown for this period
We have tried changing the task to Auto-schedule, unassigning and reassigning the task to the same resource. None of which has worked.
We would be very grateful for any advice. Thank you

How can we get new SPO sites re-created for the existing teams

Please i need your help on this issue.
A couple of years ago, we setup a few Microsoft Teams (which had some files in the associated SharePoint sites). The vendor let the licensing lap, so the sites were deleted.
Unfortunately we could not restore the sites because it has pass the 93days default duration that Microsoft cloud stores data for deleted.
I would like to know how can we get new SPO sites re-created for the existing teams? Creating new teams isn’t an option.
Is it possible as we want to get a new SPO sites recreated for the existing teams.

Exchange Cross-Forest migration and Autodiscover
We’re planning a cross-forest migration for a company splitting scenario.
At the moment there’s an exchange organization with several accepted domains which the two most important are domainA.com and DomainB.com
The migration will involve DomainB.com users.
During the migration we will have a coexistence period where domainB.com users are on both the AD domains.
The migration will be carried with ADMT tool.
My question is about the autodiscover URL which is now pointing to the current Exchange infrastructure.
When an user is migrated with his mailbox and PC his outlook client, and the next startup, will query the autodiscover pointing to the “old” exchange server and, I think, it will fail.
Can anyone share any experiences on how to carry this kind of migration with the least impact on the users ?

Let me show you a step-by-step guide to automatically remove the unwanted application versions in your Service Fabric Managed cluster below:
Scenario:
– I have deployed 4 versions of my app (1 InUse – 3 UnUsed) to my managed cluster as the following:
Symptom:
I need Service Fabric to do automatic cleanup for the Application Unused Versions and keep only the last 3 so as not to fill the disk space.
Mitigation Steps:
From https://resources.azure.com/ open your managed cluster resource and open the read/write mode.
Add the tag “AllowRuntimeCleanupUnusedApplicationTypesPolicy“: “true“
Under fabricsettings, add the param “name”: “CleanupUnusedApplicationTypes”, “value”: “true” under fabricsettings and set the “maxUnusedVersionsToKeep”: 3
Click on PUT to save the changes, and I deployed the 5th version (1.0.4) to the cluster, which should make the cleaning happens for the oldest version (1.0.0)
Note: The automatic clean-up should be effective after 24 hours of making those changes.
Then I tried to deploy a new version, and I could see that the oldest version was also cleaned up.
For manual cleanup of the ImageStoreService:
You can use PowerShell commands to delete copied packages and unregister application types as needed.
This includes using Get-ServiceFabricImageStoreContent to retrieve content and Remove-ServiceFabricApplicationPackage to delete it, as well as Unregister-ServiceFabricApplicationType to remove application packages from the image store and image cache on nodes.

Running Excel 365. Attaching a sample document for better understanding.
I am trying to compute the final price of a product on each year of its project. The final price is based on an initial price and percentage discounts that are cumulative year over year. For this purpose, I use SCAN function and returns the desired output beautifully.
Now, I need a second consideration for the computation of the price. There are some price components that expire before the end of the whole project. That is, I need to substract some amount from the price at a given date, since that concept is no longer computing to the final price and it has already been amortized. For this other purpose, I use some references that allows the final user only to enter the value that is going to be substracted and during how many years is this particular value going to be amortized. Then, the formulation “drops” that amount once the years of amortization are completed.
These two functionalities (% discount and dropping price component) work when I formulate them apart. However, I need them to be together. The issue is that one of the ranges in the formulation for the latter functionality is not treated as an array and, therefore, it does not dynamically “move” within the range and everything breaks. How can I rearrange the formulation and make this range be a functional array (with minimum alteration of the concept behind this formualtion)?

I have a database with a big table that I store sensor values, basically the structure is
ID, DataTime, SensorID, Value.
Each sensor sends data each minute, I have more than 100 sensors, so every day is a lot of records (more than 20.000.000 each month)…
2/3 months is not bad, but more than that is getting slow every time I want to do a graph, doing a

How can I speed up things and make this more efficient?

EXECUTE AS WITH COOKIE causing performance degradation

We’re seeing an issue with SQL server where the performance of the server degrades over time when there are a large amount of EXECUTE AS USER statements.
We’re hosting a legacy system based on SharePoint which is generating these transactions so in the short term we are unable to obtain the source to refactor this code.
To minimally replicate the issue we can run the following code:

DECLARE @cookie VARBINARY(100);
WHILE @counter <= 5000
BEGIN
EXECUTE AS USER = N’DataReader’ WITH COOKIE INTO @cookie;
REVERT WITH COOKIE = @cookie

The first run takes just over 2 seconds, and then subsequent runs take progressively longer to complete.

From running the SQL Profiler, it seems as if the bottleneck is with the EXECUTE AS USER statement, and the REVERT statement takes approximately 0ms every time.
From running various numbers through this I’ve found that running batches of 30 per second doesn’t seem to degrade performance, but after a while, 60 per second does.
Furthermore, if we run just:
EXECUTE AS USER = N’DataReader’
REVERT
And we’re not storing the cookie, then I can run 50k in the loop, it takes 0.5 seconds, and doesn’t degrade performance with subsequent runs.
We’re running this test internally on SQL Server 2016, but we’ve also run the same test on Azure SQL, which I can only assume is running the latest version. It exhibits the same behaviour, so it would appear that simply upgrading versions wouldn’t solve the problem.
Does anyone know what’s going on here? Is the performance being degraded by storage of these cookies? If so, where are they even being stored and is there any way to mitigate this or periodically clear the cookie cache to get some of the lost performance back?

i am requesting assistance with changing the “All New posts” Notify option to “Banner and Feed” in Microsoft Teams channel.

Number format within a text formula
Hello,
I’m trying to put numbers from cell references into a formula, which itself is simple, but how do I format those numbers once there?
i.e. I would like to say ‘±1% tolerance for 100°C = ±1.00°C’
but I get ‘±0.01 tolerance for 100°C = ±1°C
I would always like to show 2 decimal places, even if it is .00
I would also like to show the ±0.01 as 1%
