Word inserting shapes disabled
I use the shapes feature (illustrations tap) inside Word for work to explain the designed layouts for a quick and easy reference for my team. Recently, when I click on a shape, it shows the list of options I can choose from, but when I hover my mouse over my document, the crosshairs that normally appear are not there. It is almost as if something is disabled for this particular feature. All the other illustrations’ features are functioning as normally; it is only the shapes. Furthermore, when I open a document that has shapes from a previous project, I can add more or edit existing shapes in any way. My word is up to date as of today, and really stumped on how to fix this,
Thank you in advance.
