Starting Matlab in CLI on an Ubuntu 25.04 with 16 Gb of RAM I get this:
MATLAB is selecting SOFTWARE OPENGL rendering.
Fontconfig warning: "/usr/share/fontconfig/conf.avail/05-reset-dirs-sample.conf", line 6: unknown element "reset-dirs"
library initialization failed – unable to allocate file descriptor table – out of memory
MATLAB is exiting because of fatal error.
I have installed to /home/pgl/matlab as a user (not su).
What is the issue?
