June 12 update broke my printer driver. I have thousands of customers that cannot run anymore.
I have over 1000 customers in the field that cannot install this update of windows 10 and windows 11.
Sometime in 2002 I took with msplot demo driver and converted it to run our cutters. I was able to send plots up to 125″ inches by 60″ to our cutters with resolution as high as 16256.
Now with this update installed the gdi calls DrvStrokePath with the wrong clipping/boundary window cutting the maximum size to 5″ x 5″ which is impossibly too small. Some of our machines cut countertops of up to 300″ long. (I do this by sending a scaled image and then scaling it back up in the cutter driver).
I have tried changes to the cutter driver and since the cutter driver is not called with all objects, I cannot make changes to my cutter driver.
At the present time I am recommending that all of our customer not install or uninstall this update until problem is resolved. See notice at https://allendatagraph.com

Deep learning using trainnet for resnet18 : old trainnetwork –> new trainnet

I copied a matlab example for semantic image segmentation using MATLAB 2022, and the example used ‘trainNetwork’ and ‘deeplabv3plusLayers’ for resnet18, and the results were excellent for my images which have 9 labels (background + 8)
However, now the documentation for trainNetwork recommends moving the training command to be ‘trainnet’, and the documentation for ‘deeplabv3plusLayers’ recommends moving to ‘ deeplabv3plus’. When I follow the provided example (e.g https://www.mathworks.com/help/vision/ug/semantic-segmentation-using-deep-learning.html), my segmentation results are noticibly worse:

Azure VM windows 10 randomly go black
Today I was experiencing an unexpected issue with our Azure VMs running Windows 10. Earlier today, users across several VMs encountered a sudden problem: their screens went black, and the taskbar icons turned white. When they clicked on the icons, a message indicated that the program had moved. To restore normal functionality, we had to log off and back on for a large number of users.
This is the first time we’ve encountered such an issue, and we urgently need assistance in resolving it. Could you please guide us on where to look or provide any troubleshooting steps?

Timestamp excel cell when change is made
I’m working on a tracker for applications. I want a cell timestamp to be entered into a cell and updated every time cells in a specified column are changed. Example: when B2 changes D2 updates with the current date. I’ve been digging through what I found online. Three people will regularly be making changes to this tracker. I’ve tried a couple macros but every time I make changes it messes up the table. I’ve removed the table and the only way to move the row without it becoming a mess is to move the whole row. We have a reference chart next to the tracker so that isn’t workable. I can easily make the fixes necessary however my coworkers don’t have the same skillset as me. I’m looking for a user friendly solution.

On-demand backup and export (Public Preview)
With Public Preview of the on-demand backup and export feature, you can now easily export a physical backup of your MySQL flexible server to an Azure storage account (Azure blob storage) with just a few clicks on the Azure portal or with a single CLI command whenever you want. After exporting backups to blob storage, you can use them for multiple purposes, including data recovery, redundancy, and availability, auditing, compliance, or to avoid vendor lock in.

Azure Database for MySQL Import supports Percona XtraBackup for external migrations to Flexible Server (General Availability)
Azure MySQL Import enables you to migrate your MySQL on-premises or Virtual Machine (VM) workload seamlessly to Azure Database for MySQL – Flexible Server. It takes advantage of a user-provided physical backup file (taken using Percona XtraBackup) and restores the source server’s physical data files to the target server offering a simple and fast migration path. Based on user inputs, the feature takes up the responsibility of provisioning your target flexible server, then restoring the user-provided physical backup of the source server stored in the Azure Blob storage account to the target Flexible Server instance.

Azure DMS: MySQL consistent snapshot without locks (Public Preview)
MySQL Consistent Snapshot is a new feature that allows users to take a Consistent Snapshot of a MySQL server without losing data integrity at source because of ongoing CRUD (Create, Read, Update, and Delete) operations. Transactional consistency is achieved without the need to set the source server to read-only mode through this feature. That is, with this feature, we don’t take a read lock on the server. We instead read tables at different point in time, while keeping track of the different binlog positions of each table. This aids to reconcile the tables towards the end of the initial load by performing replication in catchup mode to get a consistent snapshot.

Python Module not found when call the python function using Matlab
I want to call a python function using Matlab. I am working on the NLP project, particularly text recognization. The name of the python file that I want to call using the Matlab is final_output.py. The final_output.py contains a import statement import spacy. This script run well when I run it using Pycharm. I installed all the required library using PyCharm terminal.
However, when I call the same python file from Matlab I received an error,

Error in ode45 “inputs must be floats, namely single or double” when solving rocket flight equation.
Im trying to solve a non-linear first order differential equation with ode45, with a weird function thrust_cont thats supposed to describe the thrust of a model rocket.

How to interpolate values given a starting and end point
I have a voltmeter that I was using to measure voltage on a battery, unfortunatly it wasnt working properly and Im not able to do the test again. Before and after I ran the test I tested the voltage, so I know the real starting (50.6V) and ending (50.3V). My voltmeter recorded the power draw correctly but the values are off, they hover around 18V, how do I interpolate the bad values with a known starting and end point?
Example:
I know its 50.6 to 50.3 and my recordings are 18.2 to 17.9
I want the readings to be 50.6, 50.5, 50.4, 50.3 instead of 18.2, 18.1, 18.0, 17.9. I cant just add the difference because power draw wasnt exactly linear so Im trying to use the interp1 function but it isnt working for me. TextJoin returning 0 values despite content being in the originating field
I have a formula that is pulling in correct data except for a few lines in my “master grid.” (See formula below)
For some random lines, it pulls in “0” instead of the text that is in the fields on the master grid. I can’t figure it out for the life of me. Can anyone help?

Azure ADConnect Export of Settings
I’m looking to regulalry export/backup our ADConnect config as we have had an issue in the past with the persistedstate.xml file being corrputed by an AV tool (we alos now back this up). I’m a little confused though on the capabilties here. reading this guide when I export from the UI it exports a single JSON file. This file does not seem to contain all the settings that define my configuration. For example, it does list sync rules but it does not list the attributes I have configured nor the objects select for sync. If I use the Get-ADSyncServerConfiguration CMDLET I get all settings in a set of files/folders including these attributes.
Which one should I be using here?

Desktop slideshow doesn’t work with multiple virtual desktops
To reproduce the bug:
If you don’t have multiple virtual desktops press Win Key + Tab and click the “New Desktop icon.Press Control key + Win Key + left arrow to go to Desktop 1.Right click on the desktop and select “Personalize”Click the “Background” panel.Select the “Slideshow” option from the drop-down box.On the “Choose a picture album for a slideshow” panel choose a folder with some pictures for the slideshow.On the “Change picture every” panel choose 1 minute from the drop-down box.On the “Shuffle the picture order” panel turn the switch to “off”.On the “Choose a fit for your desktop image” choose “Fill” from the drop-down box.Dismiss the “Personalization > Background” by clicking the X at the top right of the window.Press Control key + Win Key + right arrow to go to Desktop 2.Press Control key + Win Key + left arrow to go to Desktop 1.Right click on the desktop and select “Personalize”Click the “Background” panel.You will notice that the drop-down box is showing “Picture”
