Invalid Parameter Name: EdgeColor
Hi all,
I’m trying to set the edgecolor parameter to interp for a hist3 plot. But MATLAB keeps giving me an invalid parameter error on edgecolor. It is in the documentation as a valid parameter and as far as I can tell I’m using the latest version of MATLAB: R2024a Update 2. Another strange thing is that even though I get the error message in the Command Window. The figure that is generated does successfully change the edge colors. It seems like MATLAB is doing what I expected but giving an error message for no apparent reason.
I’ve included my implementation and error message for reference.
hist3(X,[250 250],"EdgeColor","interp","CdataMode","auto");
Error using internal.stats.parseArgs (line 43)
Invalid parameter name: EdgeColor.
Error in hist3 (line 278)
[cdatamode,facecolor,~] = internal.stats.parseArgs(plnames,pldflts,plotArgs{:});
Error in Heatmap_test (line 26)

Give permission to a pipeline to access a second repository from CLI
Hi, I’m creating pipelines with CLI az commands.
My pipelines are accessing to a second repo and the first time executing them I have to click Permit.
Is it possible to give this permit before the first execution using CLI?
Thanks in advance,

How to Stop Microsoft from Prompting Me to Sign In
The attached image displays a persistent banner on my Settings Home Page that Microsoft constantly displays. Even though I can close it, the banner reappears frequently. I prefer using my Local Account over logging into Windows with my Microsoft Account unless it’s absolutely necessary. Yet, I cannot find a way to prevent Microsoft from continuously prompting me. I’ve searched through various forums but have had no luck finding a solution – likely due to using incorrect keywords. If there is a tutorial available on how to eliminate this annoyance, I would greatly appreciate any guidance. Thank you.

How to Remove a File That Cannot Be Deleted
I am currently using Windows 11 23H2 on my computer. Recently, I encountered an issue with a file that was created by 7Zip and stored in the C:Temp directory on my Samsung 990 Pro SSD. The problem arose when 7Zip crashed during the file zipping process, resulting in the file becoming undeletable.
Despite my attempts to delete the file using Explorer run as an administrator, I continually received an error message stating, “Could not find this item” and “This is no longer located in C:Temp. Verify the items location and try again.” Even after trying to delete the file in safe mode and running “chkdsk /f” on my C: drive, the file remained inaccessible, persisting as the only item in the C:Temp directory.
I have also encountered difficulty in deleting or renaming the C:Temp directory itself. This issue has proven to be persistent and baffling. How should I proceed to resolve this predicament?

Updating the Refresh Rate in File Explorer and Search
I am encountering problems with the performance of Windows Explorer and Windows Search. The issue occurs when I download a file, even a small image, where I briefly see a temporary download tag followed by .TMP. This happens so quickly that it’s almost imperceptible. Moreover, there is a significant delay in Explorer refreshing after I rename folders or files. Lastly, when I use the WIN+S shortcut to search, there is a noticeable delay before the search box appears, and if I begin typing immediately, the first few letters are not registered, rendering the search ineffective. Despite attempting the solutions suggested in the forum, the issues persist. Your assistance in resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Title: “Troubleshooting Missing Desktop Icons: File Not Found – IconCache_.db and OneDrive Error 0x8
There is an issue with loading desktop icons on a specific user account, and an error code 0x8004de44 is displayed when attempting to log in to OneDrive. When using the command prompt, I entered the following command:
C:WindowsSystem32>cd /d %userprofile%AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsExplorer
After navigating to the Explorer directory, I tried to uncover the icon cache file by running the command:
C:Usersiut04AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsExplorer>attrib -h iconcache_*.db
However, the system returned an error indicating that the file iconcache_*.db was not found.

Bookings with me
I have a G5 account. I have two users that were able to setup “Bookings with me” for their accounts. When I try to set one up I keep getting “You do not have access to Bookings with me” and the OWA version does not give me the option to create, but only “Go to my booking page”, which is telling me I need to have my admin reenable this. What do I need to do to get this working?

Sleep keyboard shortcut no longer functional
After purchasing my new PC with Windows 11, I was thrilled that the Fn-F12 keyboard shortcut allowed me to easily put the computer to sleep. However, in a surprising turn of events lately, this functionality has ceased to work without any apparent cause. This sudden change is frustrating as it now takes three mouse clicks to put the computer to sleep. I am considering using PowerTools to reassign a new shortcut, but before I proceed, I am curious if others have encountered a similar issue. Could it be a bug from a recent Windows Update causing this inconvenience?

Generating Random Characters
Greetings,
I hope this message finds you well. I am seeking assistance with a perplexing issue I have encountered on my modern HP Pavilion desktop computer.
In recent weeks, I have observed an unusual occurrence where an unidentified character, consistently in the shape of a rectangular bracket, appears unbidden and begins populating text boxes across various programs. This phenomenon transpires intermittently, seemingly at random intervals, and persists despite my attempts to mitigate it through the use of different keyboards, both wired and wireless.
My mouse, which operates wirelessly using what I believe to be Bluetooth technology, functions without issue during these episodes. The situation only arises sporadically, and when it does, it disrupts the normal functioning of my desktop.
I am uncertain whether this anomaly is attributable to electrical disturbances, interface irregularities, or perhaps an underlying hardware fault within the computer system. Any insights or recommendations you could provide would be greatly valued.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

solving linear system with decomposition(A,’qr’) and qr(A) produce different results
load post.mat
x1 = decomposition(CA,’qr’)b_f;
[qq2,rr2,pp2] = qr(CA);
x2= pp2 * (rr2(qq2’*b_f));

Project for the Web – how to prevent Assign Project Task to Contact or Account from Power App?
Hi, our customer has noticed that if he wants to assign a task to a colleague and he starts typing e.g. the first 3 letters of the name, the whisperer offers not only user names from Entra ID but also Contacts and Account names from the connected Power Application Project. How to prevent this? It is not desirable, project tasks are only assigned within the organization.
Thank you for help, Jan

Timesheet calculations – help please
Going round in circles and finally admitting defeat. Photo of the data set I am currently working with – this relates to hours worked for staff.
What I need to do in the unsocial hours column (Col O) is account for any hours worked between midnight (23:59) and 6am (06:00). E.g. for the first Row O2 should read 02:20 for 2hrs 20mins.
First thing i’m stuck on is i have used =TEXT(H2, “HH:MM:SS”) in columns M and N to convert the date/time in H and I into time only. However – this isn’t overwriting the original date in the underlying data, so every combination of IF statements that I try is giving false results.
I’m sure there is a very simple and straightforward answer, my brain is just fried. Thanks very much.

Kerberos-Key-Distribution-Center error id 42 krbtg reset procedure
Hi Guys

i know that i have to reset it and wait for replication in all domain controllers, and i know that microsoft suggest to wait for at least 10 hours to reset again krbtg password.
But network is composed by 7 DC located out in branch office and many services are related to AD as you can image and in a enviorment like this i can’t be sure to have a rapid back out plan.
Someone has experiece on this procedure? what are the conseguences on connetted users and services?
Thanks in advance
