Latest release channel build ui is laggy
i am having 24H2 latest release preview channel and ui is laggy . not sure why but start menu , explorer , settings and almost every menu even browser is lagging .
even i got a good HW core i 7 + rtx 3060 .
any ideas ? do i have to revert back to stable channel and if it is so is there any way to do it without re installing all the apps again ?

Operations – Order lines licensing – Need support to evaluate
Dear ALL,
I am implementing Dynamics 365 Finance Operation (F&O) for Customer. Customer also use Retail and Commerce module.
I have 2 scenarios need to ask your support to see if need Operations – Order lines licensing or not.
Scenario 1:
– Step 1: External application submit Online Order to some Staging tables which are created at Dynamics 365F&O.
– Step 2: The Customer Service Support (CS) access Dynamics 365 F&O who have been already assigned some type of Dynamics 365 F&O license, they will review Online Order in Staging tables, they will approve Online Order (in Staging tables) and execute customized function to create Sales Order.
– Step 2.1: Batch job function at Dynamics 365 F&O, may automatic approve Online order in Staging tables, because it match some automatic approval rule, and automatic execute customized function to create Sales Order.
=> With my understanding, I think:
– Step 1: don’t require Operations – Order lines licensing, because Staging table is not listed in operations table – order line.
– Step 2: don’t require Operations – Order lines licensing, because the Customer Service Support already have user license and direct use Dynamics 365F&O to create Sales Order.
– Step 2.1: require Operations – Order lines licensing, because don’t have any licensed User to direct user Dynamics 365 F&O to create Sales order.
Question: Is my understanding correct ?

– Step 2: Cashier open Commerce app at POS machine, and recall above suspended Retail Transaction (which was created via Store commerce API), and they do checkout Transaction and collect payment. As you know the back end Dynamics 365 F&O process will create Sales order for posting to deduct inventory and record Revenue.
=> With my understanding, I think:
– Step 1: don’t require Operations – Order lines licensing, because Retail Transaction Table is not listed in operations table – order line.
– Step 2: don’t require Operations – Order lines licensing, because the Cashier, Commerce App already have user commerce license and direct use Dynamics 365 commerce app to create Retail Transaction.
=> So, at the end: This scenarios don’t require Operations – Order lines licensing.
Question: Is my understanding correct ?
Note: I aware that maybe Dynamics 365 F&O Database need more capacity to store Online Order, and may need to buy Additional Operations capacity.

"Also, this example does not update the bit synchronization status back to the tracking loop. You can also use the bit synchronization value to increase the phase locked loop (PLL) integration time to enhance the PLL performance at low SNR values"
I am interested to do and apply this in the GPS Software receiver I am using. Is the sync index the location of start of navigation data bit? how do I use this to increase the PLL integration time?

My Problem and Question
This question pertains to OneDrive for personal use. Microsoft recently made a change to the link format from the embed feature and made my direct download links obsolete. I would retrieve these links from the embed feature in OneDrive and the links looked like what’s shown below. The link would directly serve the file to whomever accessed it without them ever having to interact with OneDrive.
With the changes Microsoft recently made to OneDrive, is there a new way of getting links that have this functionality?

I have found a temporary solution; however, the links generated via this method only have temporary authentication, so they expire after a day. I’m retrieving the link from the GET request when clicking the download button on a file from a publicly shared link.

I found the following two ways of predicting performs differently:
(1).
for i=1:size(XTest,2)
[trainedNet,YTest(:,i)]=PredictAndUpdateState(trainedNet,XTest(:,i));

copy a cell value into a table based of the value of adjacent dropdown
good evening all,
having some trouble wrapping my head around this.
I have dropdowns in A4:A7 which draw values from A12:A101. there is a corresponding value in B12:B101 that gets displayed in B4:B7 when a value is selected from the dropdown. i would like to add an “update cell” in C4:C7 that would update the values in B12:B101 when a new value is entered.

Shift end time and overnight rest break
I have an activity logger and cells on “Day 1” A16 to B33 are start and end times. A16 is populated from an entry in C10 and G10 is populated from the last time entered in B16:33. The array may be fully or partially populated depending on number of activities on the day. All cells are formatted as 12 hour time and no date is used. C16 to 33 use drop down lists for activity.
The issue arises when an overnight rest break is entered in B? and G10 displays the time of the following morning.
What I want is to have G10 ignore the following morning if the previous time is more than 9 hours behind (only entry for that length of time will be an overnight break). It may prove difficult to use PM and AM as some shifts work across midnight but if that is easiest then that can be arranged.
To this point AI has not been able to achieve a result but I will keep trying.

I’m working on implementing a custom plot function for the particleswarm function in the Global Optimization Toolbox. However, I’m encountering an issue where an extra empty subplot is being generated along with the intended plots. I would like to know how to remove this extra subplot.

Security Baseline 23H2 issue with Hardened UNC Paths
I am testing the 23H2 Security Baseline and ran the CIS Benchmark assessment. A setting that previously passed with the November 2021 baseline is now failing. It is the Hardened UNC Paths under Administrative Templates – Network – Network Provider. The attached screenshot named Hardened UNC Paths…png shows the setting configured in the baseline. The screenshot named Registry.png shows the registry after the baseline is applied.
The entry for \*SYSVOL does not show up and the entry for \*NETLOGON is wrong. When adding the entry to the registry for this setting, Microsoft swapped the Name and Data values.
The screenshot Registry from Nov 2021 baseline.png is what it should look like and this passes the CIS Benchmark assessment.
Can anyone else confirm this? I plan to open a ticket for this issue.

CIS Benchmark Assessment fails on Defender settings on Security Baseline 23H2
With the November 2021 Security Baseline, my device passed all but one setting on the CIS Benchmark Assessment. After applying Security Baseline 23H2, I am failing all of them. See CIS Benchmark Assessment.png for the comparison.
I found that something in the 23H2 Security Baseline is blocking access to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesWindows DefenderPolicy Manager folder in the registry. See attached screenshot. Since the CIS Assessment cannot access the settings to verify them, it gives us a fail on all of the Defender settings. When I go back to the November 2021 baseline, I can see all the settings in the folder.
I’ve reviewed every setting in the 23H2 baseline to see what would cause this and cannot find anything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Right now, it seems safer to stay on the November 2021 baseline.
