3D radiation pattern / array factor of planar array in cylindrical coordinates
Dear MatLab Central Community,
I would like to plot the 3D array factor of a planar (2D) antenna array in cylindrical coordinates.
I have calculated the array factor in spherical coordinates AF(theta, phi) and I can easily plot it in spherical coordinates (using
[x,y,z] = sph2cart(THETA,PHI,R)
for coordinate conversion and then "surf(x,y,z)" or "mesh(x,y,z)" for 3D plotting), but I do not know how to do that in cylindrical coordinates.
In other words, I want the domain of the 2D function on the xy plane to be a grid in RHO, THETA and for each point plot the Z = AF value.
I tried to use other coordinate transformations but I did not manage to do that.
Thank you very much for any help.Dear MatLab Central Community,

It’s important to note that most bootable ISO programs are designed to run independently of the operating system installed on a computer, which means they may not support all hardware components, including Wi-Fi devices. However, some specialized bootable ISOs do include Wi-Fi drivers and tools that allow for internet connectivity.
Regarding anti-malware utilities that can go online to update their database or use the cloud for real-time protection, there are a few options available. One popular choice is Kaspersky Rescue Disk, which includes network capabilities and can be used to update its virus definitions online. Similarly, AVG Rescue CD and Bitdefender Rescue CD also offer internet connectivity for updating their databases.
As for MR’s ISO, if it has the ability to go online, it may be possible to run external programs or download additional tools, depending on the specific features included in the ISO. It’s recommended to review the documentation or guidelines provided by the creator of the ISO to understand its capabilities in more detail.

It seems like you’re experiencing an issue with the system tray or taskbar not auto-hiding on your HP Envy x360. This can be quite frustrating when you need all of the screen space. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue:
1. Restart your computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix temporary glitches or issues with the taskbar auto-hide feature.
2. Check the taskbar settings: Right-click on the taskbar, select “Taskbar settings”, and make sure that the “Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode” option is turned on.
3. Update your operating system: Make sure that your Windows operating system is up to date with the latest updates and patches. Sometimes, software updates can fix bugs or issues related to the taskbar.
4. Check for third-party applications: Certain third-party applications or software can interfere with the taskbar’s auto-hide feature. Try disabling any recently installed apps to see if the issue is resolved.
5. System maintenance: Perform system maintenance tasks such as disk cleanup, clearing cache files, and checking for malware or viruses that could be causing the issue.
If none of these steps resolve the problem, you may need to seek further assistance from HP support or a technical professional to diagnose and fix the issue on your HP Envy x360.

How can I plot the candle line into two figures with one time series object?

I am now doing a project about the stock .And now I need to plot a candle line,
I plotted it successesfully,However ,because I have about 300 days to plot into one figure,It is too small to regonize the details.I am know wondering if I can plot two figures with successive time,

Windows 11 and OneDrive Hanging File Explorer
Are there any documented issues with Microsoft OneDrive where the explorer.exe window becomes unresponsive during file syncing? The problem only arises when items inside folders are still syncing with the cloud; otherwise, explore acts as expected. My troubleshooting process has involved signing out, relinking my Drive account, and reinstalling OneDrive. There has been no improvement.
This system was running OneDrive without issue before a clean OS install. The clean install resolved a system instability between CUDA and the Unreal Gamedev engine but introduced the current issue with OneDrive.

MS Teams – Error Something Went Wrong 1001
Please help.
MS Teams stopped working for me recently – I typically access through the app on my Mac.
I have deleted and reinstalled the app.
I have deleted my cache.
I have an active subscription and can access the Teams app through my mobile app – and can access through desktop.
The app on my Mac won’t work for my work account – but will for a personal account.
So this is somehow an account set up issue – but I have no idea how to resolve.
I am a small business with no IT department!
Any guidance would be gladly received.
Thank you

projcrs function is not working
Hello, I cannot use projcrs somehow, I need it to extract some json georef data and make a latitude/longitude map so I can extract specific pixels over my .tiff file. I am reading my json file and I was trying to do

utmProjection = projcrs(utmZone);

But projcrs fails. I tried with many format and other numbers.
Is there something I may be missing?

obj = setPropertiesFromCRSInput(obj, crs);Hello, I cannot use projcrs somehow, I need it to extract some json georef data and make a latitude/longitude map so I can extract specific pixels over my .tiff file. I am reading my json file and I was trying to do
utmZone = ‘32634’;
utmProjection = projcrs(utmZone);
[lat, lon] = projfwd(utmProjection, xCoords, yCoords);
But projcrs fails. I tried with many format and other numbers.
Is there something I may be missing?

MCR dll 7.16 32-bit 64-bit Windows 7
Hi.
I use R2011B on a 32-bit installation on Windows 7. Where can I find the files for the MCR dll that I can send to customers so they can run compiled scripts.
Are their different 32-bit and 64-bit versions?
I knew how to do this for R2007B on 32-bit but now I am stuck.
I can install 64-bit if it helps but just dont use it for other reasons.Hi.

Is It Legal To Sell Windows 11 Installation USBs
Hello. I was wondering if it is legal to sell Windows 11 installation USB flash drives to people so that they can go and buy them if they don’t know how to/want to make them in order to either repair their installation of Windows, or to install Windows for the first time on their computers. They are still paying Microsoft for the license. This would use the official Microsoft installation media creator, and this is giving people the same access to Windows 11 in the exact same way as if they were to create it themselves. The only difference is that they would be buying it from me, and they would install Windows 11 or repair their existing installation using a USB that I created for them. Thanks!

Time conversion
Hello,
I need some help with converting time.
I have a spreadsheet with start time, finish time and lunch break. An example is
07.00AM – 03.06PM less 0.30 lunch is a 7:36 hour day. I need a formula for the 7.36 to have the minutes only to a decimal so the result is 7.6. I just have the basic formula (Cell A-Cell B) – Cell 2 .
Any help greatly appreciated. I have the full minutes to decimal converter in excel already if that helps. I figure I could do a X Lookup on that but not sure about the formula structure.
Thanks

SCROLLING ROW PLACEKEEPER – HIGHLIGHTED
With all that Excel can do, there must be some easy way to highlight a row and make it scroll up and down as needed, but so far, I haven’t found it. It sure would make entering account codes to pre-loaded data much easier on an old, retired, half-blind CPA! Someone must have an easy fix for this little problem. If so, please let me know. Thanks.

Offline Security Intelligence Update in Defender for Endpoint – Queries
Hi Community
I reviewed the official MS guidance on the Offline Security Intelligence Update capability and wondering if there are any related resource that can help clarify the following queries:
1. What type of connectivity (ports / protocols) is required between Mirror Server and the MDE Clients (Linux systems)?
2. What type of server share permissions are required for the Linux systems to get the signature from the NFS File Share / Web Server?
3. Is there a N-2 (or N-3) capability as well. For example, if we want to roll back to 2 previous definitions ?
Thanks
