Planner Rename Labels Option on Tasks Not Available
The ability to rename labels in Planner seems to have disappeared.
I’ve checked in other Teams and the option is missing there too, both ones I’ve created and others’ have created.
Would love some guidance.

‘Single Factor Authentication’ after Intune device enrollment
Hello,
We have MFA enforced for all employees through Conditional access. Recently, we started enrolling our company laptops (Windows and Mac) to Intune and also setup ‘Windows Hello for Business’ as a login method. I noticed that after the enrollment, the user sign in attempts are showing as ‘single factor authentication’ in the Entra ID sign in logs. Also, it says that there’s no conditional access policies getting applied even though we have several CA policies about MFA, session controls etc.
I did some research and found out that this is due to Windows Hello for Business. My question is, what is the right course of action here? I’m getting messages on the CA policy page that the users are logging in without any policy coverage which concerns me a bit even though I know we have all the policies set in place.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Creación automatica de equipos
Hola.

logging into device with black screen
Hi all,
I have had a batch of devices which are having issues when they log into the devices they get a black screen and just the cursor loaded however restarting the device and getting the user to log back in fixes it.
We have had several devices do this, why could this be? Is there a better fix than the work around

Compose calendar event URLs do not open the compose dialog on mobile
So taking the following link: https://outlook.cloud.microsoft/owa?path=calendar/action/compose&rru=addevent&subject=test&body=test
On mobile devices it will open outlook and the the compose dialog will not open.
We used to use the deeplink url but had to switch to the above as it has a bug where it ends with a blank screen as described here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-365/outlook-deeplink-calendar-compose-ends-with-a-blank-screen-on/m-p/4212741#M53563
I’ve seen threads on both of these bugs since early 2023 with no resolution, Is there a better place to raise it?

Sink or Swim: Tackling 2024’s Record-Breaking Vulnerability Wave
28,821 — that’s the number of vulnerabilities reported last year alone. With over 25,000 CVEs this year so far, 2024 is on track to set an even more troubling record. As cloud native technologies have become the backbone of modern IT infrastructure, these staggering figures highlight a growing and urgent threat. In this blog, we’ll explore why vulnerability disclosure is on the rise, share key trends seen by our Aqua Nautilus team, and offer practical steps security teams can take today to mitigate these escalating risks in their environments.

Managed Instance – Start/Stop Schedule and Planned Maintenance (Updates)
Hello Tech-Community,
we recently startet to Shut-Down our Managed Instance over night when all Developers are a sleep.
My question now is – when a [Planned Maintenance] is announced for Updating the Managed Instance Infrastructure, what will happen if the Instance is down with a [Stop Schedule] ?
Will the Patches be applied anyway – or will the Updates fail ?
If anybody knows – please inform us. Thanks.

Update document item property from custom button in list view
I want to add a custom button to a list view of a sharepoint online document library in order to update a property of the selected document item. (actually just assigning a certain value to a lookup field, considering some kind of custom logic)
Any ideas how to accomplish that? Is there an easy approach with just javascript? Can I do it with power apps or do I need something like SPFx for that requirement?
Any inputs or even examples are greatly appreciated!

Disable Microsoft Stream in Teams Application
Why is it (apparently) impossible to disable Stream within Microsoft Teams?
I followed all the instructions here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/disable-user-organization
It is also disabled in the Teams settings in the admin portal.
No one has a license. I can’t seem to remove the option to add a Stream tab from the Teams UI despite everything mentioned above. Has anyone else seen this / knows the magic trick to disable it? The concern is that when we roll out Teams, users will see it and try to use it, which they can’t (yet).

Wierd Issue with Outlook
So I have a user who is receiving (Regular – New order document) emails from a domain, but they’re not receiving PW reset or User account confirmation emails from the Domain.
All the emails come from the same Email address (IE: email address removed for privacy reasons)
What’s really interesting is I have had our IT Engineering team look into this and they say this person does not even receive Emails from the domain (even though they daily receive the new order document emails).
Any idea why this would be happening?
I can’t understand how they can be receiving the emails, yet our Email engineers say that Nothing is coming into the system for that users email address from the sender’s email address.

Unable to edit meeting options
I’m the IT Administrator for our company. We frequently organise Teams-meetings from shared mailboxes. As an invitee and delegated mailbox user i’m not able to edit the meeting options and make myself co-organisor. This should be possible according to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/troubleshoot/meetings/teams-meeting-with-shared-mailboxes. Is there any chance to make this work?

Calculate duration of cells but within a certain range
Hello!
I’ve been trying out different formulas but I can’t get it to work. So as per below data, column B is a set of duration timecodes. I want to calculate the duration of the timecodes that only fall between C to T (coloured). And the formula won’t repeat itself on the same set of C to T. Does anyone know how? thank you!

Need Assistance with Wallpaper Configuration on Fully Managed Android Devices
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to configure Android devices (specifically Samsung A7) as fully managed with a custom wallpaper for both the home and lock screens, using a launcher app.
I’ve set up a configuration policy under Device Restrictions > Device Experiences, with the experience type set to Microsoft Launcher (fully managed). I included the wallpaper URL, sized correctly to the device’s pixel resolution. However, the image appears zoomed in on the home screen and lock screen.
Interestingly, when I tested the same setup in Kiosk mode, the image displays correctly on the home screen, but it doesn’t apply to the lock screen. In contrast, the Microsoft Launcher (fully managed) setup does apply the wallpaper to both screens, but the image is zoomed in on the home screen.
Does anyone have suggestions for fixing this issue? I’d consider using Kiosk mode if it allowed setting the lock screen image as well, but it only sets the home screen. Additionally, I’m unable to get the camera app to appear in Kiosk mode.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Spreadsheet integrity review
I have an Excel workbook with 15 sheets, 8334 cells with data, and 5851 formulas.
Objective: Perform an integrity review, i.e. reviewing a spreadsheet to ensure that its data, formulas, and overall structure are accurate, reliable, and free from errors or inconsistencies.
For example, to perform tests such as:
Check Data Integrity
Validate Data Entries to ensure that all data entries are accurate, complete, and in the correct format, e.g. by looking for:
Inconsistent data types (e.g., mixing text with numbers in a column).Duplicate entries or missing data.Data that doesn’t make logical sense (e.g., negative values where only positives are expected).
Apply data validation rules to ensure that data inputs are within expected ranges and formats.
Review Formulas & Calculations
Check for Formula Accuracy to verify that all formulas are correct and reference the correct cells, by looking for common errors such as:
Incorrect cell references (e.g., referencing the wrong sheet or row).Use of hard-coded numbers instead of cell references, which can lead to errors when data changes.Ensure there are no unintended circular references, as these can create errors or misleading results.
Test Error Handling
Look for Error Values: Review the spreadsheet for any error messages (e.g., #DIV/0!, #VALUE!, #REF!). Investigate and resolve any errors found.
Is there a way (add-in, tool, macro) that has been purpose-built to perform such tests?

New Custom and Managed Python images in Azure Data Explorer
Azure Data Explorer (ADX) supports running Python code embedded in KQL query using the python() plugin . The plugin runtime is hosted in a sandbox, an isolated and secured environment hosted on ADX existing compute nodes. This sandbox contains the language engine as well as common mathematical and scientific packages. The plugin extends KQL native functionalities with a huge archive of OSS packages, enabling ADX users to run advanced algorithms, such as machine learning, statistical tests, time series analysis and many more, as part of the KQL query.
We are constantly working to improve the Python plugin capabilities, and today we introduce new managed Python images as well as the option to fully customize the Python image to include your required Python packages:
Managed images are Python environment that are built and maintained by the Kusto team, containing specific Python engine and a set of packages. We are adding today Python 3.11.7 and Python 3.11.7 DL (containing torch & tensorflow), both images contain up to date Python engine 3.11.7 and packages (you can review the full contents of these images by clicking the respective links).
Custom images let you create your specific Python images in case you need additional packages or different versions of the Python engine and/or packages. You can create a custom image from scratch by specifying the Python engine and supplying a requirements text file containing full list of packages, or by selecting a base existing image and supplying a minimal requirements file containing only the additional packages to install on top of the base image.
Defining a custom Python image from ADX portal
For further information see Create a custom image – Azure Data Explorer | Microsoft Learn and Python plugin packages – Kusto | Microsoft Learn

Showing remaining options on a list
Hoping that someone might be able to help answer a question about lists in Excel. I’m trying to find a way of listing the remaining options not selected from a list and was wondering if this is possible to do. For instance, in devising a rota where two people out of a group of 6 need to work each week and are listed in column A and B respectively, is there a way of listing those not working (i.e. the remaining 4 who would be on reserve) in column C? Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated!
