Teams Notifications for File Uploads – without using Sharepoint
Hi all,
I’m just wondering if there is a way to get notifications solely from Teams when a new file is uploaded to a Teams folder?
I note that we can do this in the Sharepoint, which will in turn send notifications to our email addresses, but…
a) we rarely use Sharepoint
b) we use Microsoft Outlook (desktop version for Mac) and the notifications do not come through!
We only see them if we log into Microsoft 365. Very strange…
Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.
Thank you

Cannot create links to folders in new Outlook
The new Outlook doesn’t seem to have the option to create a hyperlink for folder location that the current Outlook has. We use this feature normally in the office. This lack of feature in the new Outlook is what is preventing us to start using it.
Can anyone show me how add a hyperlink to folder locations in the new Outlook?
I’m aware that it’s only possible to create a hyperlink to a Sharepoint location in the New Outlook.
ing the New Look Outlook.

Exchange Server 2019 working properly, except for Outlook Mobile users
Hi there,
We are currently experiencing issues with our Exchange 2019 Server.
Everything is working fine except clients on mobile devices.
We can setup the clients mailbox in apps such as: Outlook, BlueMail, Apple Mail, Android Mail.
But we can’t sent mail at all (Also sent items folder is empty), but we do receive ‘some’ e-mails. (Not all)
Anyone experiencing the same kind of issues?

How to Downgrade Windows 11 to Windows 10 without Losing data?
Hi all,
I successfully installed Windows 11 on an unsupported PC that was running with Windows 10 in the past. After 30 days of trial and testing, it seems Windows 11 is not the right option me. Now, I want to downgrade Windows 11 to Windows 10 on my PC but the Go Back option was no longer available as 10 days has been pasted.
What is the right option to downgrade Windows 11 to Windows 10 after 10 days without losing data? It could be great the recommended solution could be easy enough for non tech savvy.
Thanks

How to partition a hard drive in Windows 11 without losing data?
Hi everyone,
There is too much free space on C drive and I want to split C drive into two partitions. I’m currently running Windows 11 and looking for a way to partition my hard drive in Windows 11 without losing data. I’ve done some basic research but I’m still unsure about the best approach to ensure everything remains intact.
Has anyone here successfully partitioned their hard drive without risking data loss? I’m particularly interested in using Windows’ built-in tools like Disk Management, but I’m open to other methods if they are reliable and easy to use. Here are some specifics:
I want to shrink the main C: drive to create another partition for storing files. My data is not backed up, so I’m cautious about taking any risksAre there any precautions I should take before starting this process?
Thanks in advance for any advice or step-by-step guidance!

Instalation problem SQLServer 2019/2022 on Win11
Hi everyone,
I’m writing here for the first time because I ran out of ideas.
I had a working SQLServer Express 2019 (CU13) on Win10Pro machine. For educational and development purposes, local instalation, nothinng special.
Recently, I upgraded Win10 to Win11. The SQLServer service stopped working immediately. I tried everything to start the service but no luck.
The next thing I tried was uninstall SQLServer2019 and install new one (2022 and 2019, same thing). At the end of the instalation, both give me the same error:
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2022 Setup
——————————
The following error has occurred:
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
Error code: 0x84BB0001
I searched all over the Internet and tried:
Uninstall SQLServer and all components, delete all folders related with SQLServerClean the registry keys and values related to SQLServer manually and check with CCleanerCheck fsutil fsinfo sectorinfo C:, and it is fine (512/4096)Tried sfc, d*ism, chkdsk – all okDownload new ISO installation (2022 and 2019), mountsetup.exe – Run as AdministratorDisable firewall, antivirus, DefenderTried installing under the default directory name and the short one, changed instance nameCreate new local admin user and install under the new user
Nothing helps. The error is the same whatever I do or install 2019 or 2022 version.
Checked error log – can’t find anything to guide me to the solution.
Checked Global Rules – it’s fine
The SSD that I have is (the same SSD as on Win10 where everything worked):

Sensitivity Labels applied to email attachments versus directly on the document
I’ve noticed that the encryption applied to email attachments via sensitivity labels behaves differently than if the encryption is applied directly to the document.
Example 1: I create an email and choose a sensitivity label that encrypts contents based on the specified users. I attach a Word document that does not have a sensitivity label applied. The email and attachment are encrypted. The email is sent to an external user
Example 2: I create an email and attach a Word document that has already been assigned a sensitivity label that includes encryption. The email is sent to an external user.
In Example 1, the recipient can view the attachment in Outlook Web. In Example 2, the document can’t be viewed in Outlook Web. You will see a message “Sorry, Word can’t open this document in a browser because it’s protected by Information Rights Management”.
In example 1, the recipient can forward the email to someone in a separate tenant. They can also view the email and attachment.
Is this expected behavior?

Multiple subtask under a single task via list tracker
I’m working on a project that I’ve created a “list tracker” to help organize. However, I’ve been asked if it is possible to display the subtask nested under the larger task. This comes into play when I have several departments involved in a collective task but, I want to show delays or completness by department. The tasks are different and could have different due dates. Right now, I’m manually creating it in Excel and then displaying in PowerPoint. I know there is a better way than what I’m doing. I would love to hear any suggestions on how to keep it in Sharepoint as we display it during other topics of discussion and reduce my workload.

Looking for help to remove the second scrollbar in Sharepoint Online
I hope you can assist me with an issue I’m encountering on a SharePoint page. As shown in the attached image, the page displays a SharePoint list with a formatted JSON view. Unfortunately, there are two scrollbars appearing on the right side of the page, whereas I only need one.
I have thoroughly searched online for a solution but have been unable to find one that addresses my specific issue. Is there a way to remove the second scrollbar, or is this something we, as users, need to accept as a limitation of the current SharePoint functionality?
I would greatly appreciate your help and guidance on this matter. Thank you very much for your time and assistance!

Sharepoint Online ID filter
Hi
I have a SharePoint Online list (with more than 5000 records) which is having a strange issue: When i try to filter by ID column (which is automatically created by default by SharePoint) it appear a strange value which is not a number, as it is shown in the image.
I want to delete this record but, if I filter by this there are no records returned.
I tried exporting the list to Excel but also with no luck.
I also created a Power app for finding this record, but nothing.
Any Idea how this value is appearing and how can i delete it?
Hi I have a SharePoint Online list (with more than 5000 records) which is having a strange issue: When i try to filter by ID column (which is automatically created by default by SharePoint) it appear a strange value which is not a number, as it is shown in the image. I want to delete this record but, if I filter by this there are no records returned. I tried exporting the list to Excel but also with no luck. I also created a Power app for finding this record, but nothing. Any Idea how this value is appearing and how can i delete it? Read More
New Outlook – “Propose new time” option missing for meeting invites to Outlook.com accounts?
While using New Outlook I’ve noticed a discrepancy in the functionality of meeting invites between my personal and work email addresses:
Personal email (@outlook.com):Meeting invites lack the “Propose new time” optionWork email (@company.be):Meeting invites include the “Propose new time” option
I’ve attached two screenshots demonstrating this difference.
My hypothesis is that personal Outlook.com accounts may not support the “Propose new time” feature. Alternatively, this could be a bug in New Outlook.

Create your own Visual Studio Code Chat Copilot Agent with Phi-3.5 by GitHub Models
Are you using Visual Studio Code Copilot? Especially in Chat, you can use different agents to improve the ability to create, write, and maintain projects in Visual Studio Code. Visual Studio Code provides an API that allows companies and individuals to create different agents based on their business to expand their capabilities in different proprietary fields. In this article, we will focus on Phi-3.5-mini-instruct (128k) and Phi-3.5-vision-instruct (128k) of GitHub Models to create your own Visual Studio Code Agent.
About Phi-3.5 on GitHub Models
We know that Phi-3/3.5-mini-instruct in the Phi-3/3.5 Family has strong code understanding and generation capabilities, and has advantages over Gemma-2-9b and Mistral-Nemo-12B-instruct-2407.
The latest GitHub Models already provide access to the Phi-3.5-mini-instruct (128k) and Phi-3.5-vision-instruct (128k) models. Developers can access them through the OpenAI SDK, Azure AI Inference SDK, and REST API.
Note: It is recommended to use Azure AI Inference SDK here, because it can better switch with the Azure Model Catalog in the production environment
The following are the results of Phi-3.5-mini-instruct (128k) and Phi-3.5-vision-instruct (128k) in the code generation scenario after docking with GitHub Models, and also prepare for the following examples
Demo: GitHub Models Phi-3.5-mini-instruct (128k) generate code from Prompt (click this link)

About GitHub Copilot Chat Agent
GitHub Copilot Chat Agent can complete different tasks in different project scenarios based on the code. The system has four agents: workspace, github, terminal, vscode
By adding the name of the agent with ‘@’, you can quickly complete the corresponding work. For enterprises, if you add your own business-related content such as requirements, coding, test specifications, and release, you can have more powerful enterprise private functions based on GitHub Copilot.
Visual Studio Code Chat Agent has now officially released its API, allowing enterprises or enterprise developers to develop agents based on different software business ecosystems. Based on the development method of Visual Studio Code Extension Development, you can easily access the interface of the Visua Studio Code Chat Agent API. We can develop based on this process
The development scenario can support access to third-party model APIs (such as GitHub Models, Azure Model Catalog, and self-built services based on open source models) and can also use the gpt-35-turbo, gpt-4, and gpt-4o models provided by GitHub Copilot.
Add an Agent @phicoding based on Phi-3.5
We try to integrate the programming capabilities of Phi-3.5 to complete code writing, image generation code and other tasks. Complete an Agent built around Phi-3.5 – @PHI, the following are some functions
Generate a self-introduction based on GPT-4o provided by GitHub Copilot through the @phicoding /help command
Generate code for different programming languages based on Phi-3.5-mini-instruct (128k) through the @phicoding /gen command
Generate code based on Phi-3.5-vision-instruct (128k) and image completion through the @phicoding /image command
