“Unexpected ‘profile.tmp’ File Appearing on Desktop – Seeking Explanation”
This problem has been persistent for a long time now. Each time I use my laptop with my desktop, there’s always a profile.tmp file that appears. I’m not sure why this happens or what causes it, but after some investigation, it seems Valorant is the likely culprit. I’m not certain about the reason or the solution, but is there anything I can do to address this issue? I hesitate to delete the file because a) it rarely solves the problem, and b) I’m worried it might trigger Valorant crashes, as it has in the past. I plan to reach out to Riot support, but I’m unsure about what steps to take.
Additionally, does anyone know how I can determine the exact source of this file? I’ve been speculating that it’s Riot without conducting a thorough check. Thank you in advance for your help!

I am trying to create a connection session in the workspace in Remote Desktop app.

Capacity Template – MGDC for SharePoint
1. Capacity Scenario
One of the most common scenarios for Microsoft Graph Data Connect for SharePoint is capacity. This scenario is about knowing how much storage is being used by the tenant and understanding the lifecycle of SharePoint sites.
The main MGDC datasets for this scenario are SharePoint Sites and SharePoint Files. If you’re not familiar with these datasets, you can find details in the schema definitions at SharePointSites_v1 and SharePointFiles_v1.
2. Capacity Template
To help you use these datasets, the team has worked on a Capacity Template. This includes the following:
A set of instructions
An ARM template
An Azure Synapse pipeline template
A Power BI template
Let’s investigate each one.
3. Instructions
The template comes with a set of instructions with details about registering an application, creating a secret, deploying an ARM template, importing a pipeline template, running the pipeline and creating a Power BI dashboard.

4. ARM Template
The capacity template includes an Azure Resource Manager template that helps you set up the resource group, Synapse workspace, Spark pool, storage account, and storage permissions. You deploy the ARM template to automatically provision those resources.
You can find details on how to find and deploy the ARM template in the instructions (see item 3).
5. Pipeline Template
The Capacity Scenario includes a pipeline template that you can use to simplify your deployment. In Azure Synapse, when you need to create a pipeline, you can use the Synapse Gallery to find the pipeline template.

6. Power BI Template
The last step is to create a set of reports and dashboards using Power BI. There is a Power BI template for that, which comes in the form of a .PBIT file. This helps you quickly turn your data into ready-to-use preconfigured dashboards and reports, which you can then customize.

Hi all – confused by something, we added a Playlist to our site, and for some reason we can’t access files from our computers to upload. Attached are 2 images, one is what I’d expect to see, but the other image is what we’re actually getting. I’m a Site Collection Admin so I have access to everything on the site and still can’t access folders/files from my machine….I’m sure there’s a setting somewhere to allow this….anyone know a resolution? Unable to complete the install of Defender on MacOS 18.
Setting up Anti-Malware opens up the Privacy & Security section of System Settings on MacOS 18. However this section is fundamentally changed from previous versions. This change is somehow conflicting with Defenders installation process and never shows as complete.
Manually, I have gone into the section for Full Disk Access and granted permissions to both Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Defender Endpoint Security Extension. This then shows Full Disk Access for both extensions under Privacy & Security -> Files & Folders. I have also checked all other topics in the Privacy & Security area and don’t see any other instances of the Microsoft Defender apps that may require further permissions. However, the Microsoft Defender application never shows the process as completed, allowing for a disk scan of the device.
Is there an updated process I need to follow?
Any help would be appreciated.

Personal Bookings Page VS Shared Bookings page
I am not sure which one of the two is better to add to my website, but I like the Shared booking page. I want customers to be about to click book appointment from my website and have access to my available appointment times. The only issue I am having with the shared bookings page is that when I click New booking within the Bookings app and select myself as the staff member, the system allows me to book over time that I have blocked on my calendar such as lunch. It does not allow this if I go into the customer site using the link. Is there any way to prevent this or will have to all ways check my calendar first. I also think it will allow me to book over an existing appointment.
I am not sure I understand the point of the New booking button if it allows me to book over blocks and existing appointments. Any help or feedback is appreciated.

Creating an SAP System Using Azure NetApp Files (ANF) for data- and logfiles for Microsoft SQL Server

Management Summary
This blog is based on the blog Restoring an MS SQL 2022 DB from a ANF SnapShot for creating SQL Server database copies. In addition, the creation of a new SAP system based on an SAP provided installation and the use of a copied database as foundation for SAP system copy is described.
Since ANF volume-based files can only be mounted by their UNC name and not by an assigned Windows drive letter an empty database needs to be created for the initial setup of a NEW DB (SAP SID). The SAP Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM), however, does not support UNC names for Windows. Therefore, the database must be created manually via SQL Server Studio, T-SQL scripts or other automation tools. The name should be identical to the SAP standard naming conventions which is usually the SID name for the SAP system. During the execution of SWPM, SWPM will recognize an already existing database and offer to use it for the continuation of the installation. From this point onwards, the installation will continue with the standard workflow for the selected installation type.
Create 2 NetApp volumes – one for data and one for log files.
Create SQL Database based on previously created volumes
Run SAP Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM)
SWPM will pick up the existing DB, in this case SQ1, and resume the installation in the usual sequence.
Installation of NEW SAP system based on an existing SAP SQL Server DB
If the database is already up and running the rename can be performed within the SQL Server Management Studio by right-klick its name and select the Rename option. We now have a copy of the SAP source system DB. The file names in the restored snapshots are identical to the source DB file names. To make these unique you can mount the volume and change these data files name to reflect the file names of the target DB. The database must be detached before this step. If this step is skipped the physical file names will still refer to the old names. With the attach option the DB can now be attached with the new DB SID to the existing DB environment
This DB copy is the basis for either a SAP system refresh or the creation of a new SAP system. It should have the corresponding SID of the desired SAP system. Since the restored DB is a copy of the source DB, the schema within the DB needs to be adjusted. This can be done with SWPM. In case of a system refresh, the existing DB will be overwritten but no changes to the ASCS and PAS are required. In this case the SWPM menu sequence NW Version -> MS SQL Server -> System Copy -> Target System -> Based on AS ABAP -> Standard/Distributed/High-Availability -> Refresh or Move Database Instance
This will adapt the DB to the new schema of the target system.
If you want to create a NEW SAP system based on a DB copy the SWPM menu sequence: NW Version -> MS SQL Server -> System Copy -> Target System -> Based on AS ABAP -> Standard/Distributed/High-Availability -> Standard System. This will install an ASCS and a PAS and adapt the schema within the DB.
When asked for source of the DB make sure to choose Homogenous System Copy to indicate that the new DB already exists since it was previously created with AzAcSnap.

I would like to access data from different worksheets based on the contents of a cell in the current worksheet without re-doing all the formulae. Basically, I have a template worksheet and want to populate it with data from one of a set of identical other worksheets based on the contents of a cell in the template worksheet. Is there a way to use the contents of a cell within another cell formula (I call it indirect referencing) to retrieve data from the referenced worksheet? What I would like to do is automatically populate a template worksheet based on data I enter into a cell; e.g., if I enter “1” in the cell I would get Sheet1 data, “2” would get me Sheet2 data, etc. It should be easy to do but I haven’t found a way yet.

I’m on my PC, stuck in the middle of a OneDrive Sync. I have a screenshot of the problem. It wants me to close a file, but I don’t know where to find the file or especially what kind of file it is? In which folder?

In this situation, I am trying to extend the concept of a previous discussion that was expertly solved by an esteemed contributor here.
Best illustrated by the attached workbook which also shows the previous version with its best solution.
Look at Revision 2 for this one. The situation in this version is that I want to multiply the various rows in the spilled array not by a single other range (spilled array) by a matched row in collection of ranges (spilled arrays) based on the driver.
So if the driver for row 1 is Headcount then I want to multiply that row by the relevant row in the Headcount array (relevant row is determined by the Entity). Another row in the main table may have the driver % Net Revenue so I will multiply that row by the Net revenue table (selecting the appropriate entity row) and then by the Growth factor.

We are using SharePoint Server 2019 along with Office Online Server (On-premise). Multiple users work on the same worksheet simultaneously. However, when one user applies a filter on sheet1, it affects all the users instead of being user- specific.

Throwbacks – designs that make us all feel nostalgic!

Microsoft 50th Anniversary – designs that celebrate the upcoming 50-year anniversary of Microsoft

Attach the sticker design file to the Community Sticker Challenge as .png or .jpg and indicate which label (1- 4) you are submitting it for.

Conditional Formatting Help
Below average background in Excel, I barely understand how to add basic formulas into spreadsheets. But I’m trying to make a simple excel sheet for one of my coworkers to help track when our company vehicles need and oil change. I’ve figured out how to get basic greater than or less than formulas to fill cells, but what I’m trying to do is get a cell to change color when the value is 10,000 miles over the last oil change listed. My idea is to set Vehicle numbers and names into Column A, Last Oil Change in B, and Current Mileage in C. When the value of column C is < 10000 of the value in column B I want conditional formatting to turn that cell red. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

I’ve figured out how to get basic greater than or less than formulas to fill cells, but what I’m trying to do is get a cell to change color when the value is 10,000 miles over the last oil change listed. My idea is to set Vehicle numbers and names into Column A, Last Oil Change in B, and Current Mileage in C. How to stop Outlook365 from auto-discovering previous credentials on a shared mailbox
As part of complying with security best practise we have converted ‘shared’ regular mailboxes to shared mailboxes. A key requirement is to enable shared mailbox to be set as default and to enable mail sent from SM to go to the SM Sent Items folder.
Part of the process is to add the SM under File/Account Settings/Account Settings/New but because these have been used before, the credentials have been stored and auto discovery then prevents the option to ‘Sign in with another account’ on the password pop up… as documented by Microsoft… see section 2d:

Autopilot error 0x80280009 when testing in Hyper V.
I created a test environment to test some win32 apps. Now i am getting immediately a TPM-attest error 0x80280009 when i try to start the autopilot pre-provision with the 5x Windows key.
My setup:
Hyper-V Windows 11 Enterprise 23H2 VM, with 4 CPU’s and 8Gb RAM, TPM and secure boot enabled.
The clients hardware hash has been imported and is assigned to a test autopilot profile. The test client is assigned to a test Azure group where the required apps are also being assigned to.
I looked for this error message on the internet. I only found this page and saw the VM has at least 2 CPU’s and 4Gb of memory, which it has. I’m only not sure if Hyper-V is TPM 2.0 capable, because the 2.0 version isn’t displayed in the settings.
