Fill Column based on Specific data from another Column
Hi All,
Flash fill has been playing up a bit on this column, I am trying to create a Formula to allow excel to check what colour is in ROW F and then Put that colour into ROW D. There is around 128,000 products.
I am having issues with flash fill because some of the fields have Black + Honeycomb Filter and flash fill just puts in “Filter” which isnt a colour. Or Instead of putting Anodic Bronze Matt it just puts “Matt”
Is there a Formula that can do this ?
Happy to make a table with all the colours etc….
Thanks !

Excel formulas not working across multiple sheets
So I’ve got an excel document going where each month I am keeping track of data, then using auto sum for monthly totals. After that I do quarterly totals and then a year to date total. Each month, quarter, and YTD are their own sheet. In my sheets for Q1 through Q3, I reference the respective monthly sheets, then autosum the totals and it has worked flawlessly. For Q4, it pulled the monthly totals with no problem, but suddenly autosum does not want to function. I have automatic calculations turned on and the data is in there under general, so it’s not a text issue. I can manually do it no problem, but I’d rather it be an automatic thing so I’m not editing multiple sheets each month. Please help. (there are no error messages either, it’s just not adding the data)

CTRL + Q To “Mark Emails as Read” No Longer Auto Highlights the Next Email, Requiring Manual Clicks
Just as the title suggests, on New Outlook, I had created an “Unread Mail” folder in my favorites that showed me all Unread mail. When you click an email, it does not automatically read the email, so I found pressing CTRL + Q would read the email. Beforehand, it would automatically selecte the next email under it, and once I read it, I’d press CTRL + Q, and it would read, disappear from the Unread Folder, and move to the next one. Now, that process just stopped out of nowhere. Now I need to manually click each email, before pressing CTRL + Q to get it to read and stop showing in the unread email folder. I like this option because many of my emails are ruled into folders automatically on arrival, and the Unread Emails Folder shows me which folder they live in and of course that they’re unread. Would there be any reason this changed? Feels like a bug that newest update produced.

New Hugging Face Models on Azure AI: Phi-3 Variants from the Community
Building generative AI applications starts with model selection and picking the right model to suit your application needs. The Azure AI Model Catalog offers over 1.78K models, including foundation models from core partners and nearly 1.6K open-source models from the Hugging Face community. This post is part of a monthly series to raise awareness of new models added to the Hugging Face collection on Azure. Check out the previous Hugging Face Models roundup post here.
The Hugging Face model hub has over 1M models. We select ~20 models each month to add to Azure based on feedback from our customers and developer community. Want to request a specific Hugging Face model be added? Make the request in just 3 steps:
Search the Hugging Face Hub for the desired model – click to view its Model Card.
Click the “Deploy” dropdown on that page – select the Azure ML option.
Look for a “Request to add” button in the pop-up dialog and complete the flow.
If the model already exists in the Azure AI model catalog, you will see a “Go to model in Azure ML” button that should direct you to the model card on Azure AI Studio.
18 New Hugging Face Models Added in September
September saw the addition of 18 new models into the Hugging Face Collection on Azure AI. Models included community-created variants of popular base models from Meta’s Llama family (LLM), Microsoft’s Phi-3 family (SLM) and more. We also saw a number of these fine-tuned models were “made with Unsloth” – we’ll talk about this in a bit. First, let’s review the models added and highlight any notable features about them.
Note: These community-created models are suitable for research & prototyping but will require additional assessment for use in production. Read the model card (linked to each) for usage guidance and limitations and conduct your own quality and safety evaluations to assess them for your specific application scenario.

Observed Themes
The 18 models added also help us identify useful themes or trends in community created variants in terms of use cases, tools and processes. This is what we observed:
Multi-lingual Models Continue to Shine – We added models tailored for Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Southeast Asian languages, with many models scoring well on their respective evaluation leaderboards. This underscores growing demand for conversational tasks that can reflect regional vocabularies and culture effectively.
Phi-3 Variants Continue to Grow – Microsoft’s Phi-3 family of “small language models” (SLM) outperforms other comparable models in equivalent or adjacent size classes. We are now seeing more variants developed, potentially for scenarios on mobile and edge devices. More on this below.
Fine-Tuning Tools Have Value – Community-authored variants focus on fine-tuning popular base models, but this is time-intensive and costly. We are now seeing more models “made with Unsloth”, reflecting interest in tools and processes that speed-up fine-tuning with less memory – without sacrificing accuracy. More on this below.
Meta/Llama Remains Popular – The Meta/Llama family of models continues to influence community creators in different ways. First, as a base model for fine-tuning (e.g., multi-lingual with SEA-lion, tool usage with Groq) and second as a target for optimization (e.g., TinyLlama family for mobile and edge devices). We also see adaptation of other base models (e.g., Llamafied version of Phi-3) to make those models fit a familiar structure for usage.
Model Spotlight: Phi-3 Community Variants
The Hugging Face models hub shows Phi-3 variants are created on a daily basis. In general, the Phi-3 family of models outperforms others in its size class (and adjacent) making it ideal for use cases targeting edge and mobile devices. We added 7 of these models to Azure this month, fine-tuned with Phi-3 and Phi-3.5 base models, but with different objectives. Let’s review these briefly.
1. vonjack/Phi-3-mini-4k-instruct-LLaMAfied
2. Sreenington/Phi-3-mini-4k-instruct-AWQ
3. Ba2han/Llama-Phi-3_DoRA · made with unsloth
4. unsloth/Phi-3.5-mini-instruct · made with unsloth
5. cognitivecomputations/dolphin-2.9.2-Phi-3-Medium-abliterated · made with unsloth
6. third-intellect/Phi-3-mini-4k-instruct-orca-math-word-problems-200k-model-16bit · made with unsloth
7. unsloth/Phi-3-medium-4k-instruct · made with unsloth
The first variant recalibrates the model to fit the Llama2/Llama3 model structure for developer familiarity. The second uses AutoAWQ for 4-bit quantization to get a model that can work on smaller GPUs. The third uses Llama-3 generated examples for fine-tuning, scoring well on two popular benchmarks. Variants 4 and 7 are from Unsloth and showcase their fine-tuning techniques as explained in the next section. Variant 5 shows an example of fine-tuning Phi-3 to “abilterate” information, uncensoring it. Variant 6 showcases Phi-3’s math capabilities, fine-tuned with the popular Orca Math Word problems dataset.
Want to explore to explore Phi-3 capabilities but don’t know where to start? Bookmark the Phi-3 Cookbook from Microsoft and start with the Welcome to the Phi-3 Family page. Then explore the Table Of Contents for links to quick-starts, tutorials and E2E samples. Then, try using one of the fine-tuned variants above to see the difference.

Intune Remediation schedule
Hi I have a question about remediation and when it runs.
I have a detection and remediation script set up and have a schedule for every hour. When I deploy it how long before the client runs the detection ?
Is it that he client has to pick up the policy first (so once every 8 hours, on restart or logon) ?
If so does it run the detection straight away ?
What does the schedule of 1 hour do ? Does it has run the detection script once, and then continue to run the detection script every hour ?
Thanks

Graph API – Sharepoint Bulk update – best practice ??
Hi Experts,
I am looking for best practices for implementing a project using Graph API and sharepoint
“template”: “documentLibrary”
We have 40K records incoming in the below format as json,
Need to consume it and update the corresponding line-item based on the client_no.
The reason we are using the approach is, in the previous implmentation
it is throwing [ 429 Too Many Requests] errors when we try to update SP/Docuoment template with 40k records.
Any thoughts/suggestions highly appreciated

Candidly Copilot Episode 1
Well, we kicked off our new weekly podcast this Monday 10/14 at 1pm and immediately encountered technical errors with streaming to LinkedIn that we did not encounter in testing. We were however able to capture the session in a recording. Moving forward we are simplifying the process by hosting directly as a Teams meeting so there should not be any more issues like that.
In this kickoff episode, hosts Chat Stout and Michael Gannotti kick off the new podcast and discuss the weekly approach to covering Copilot content (Crawl, Walk, Run) If you missed this week’s episode don’t worry. We will be back this next Monday diving into “Before You Crawl – Getting Your Data Up in the Cloud.”

Recording in Microsoft Stream is skipping words on audio
Hey, I have used Microsoft Streams to record video recently.
I have an external microphone and the audio quality is fine.
Unfortunately about every minute or so the recorded audio on the Microsoft Streams video will skip a word or two. I know it is not the microphone or connections as I can use them for other applications. It only happens with Microsoft Streams. I would really appreciate your guidance as this problem is really limiting my work currently.
Many thanks and best wishes,
Rakshita

Full Screen in Edge with touchscreen – How do we inhibit long duration touch (right click?) actions?
I volunteer for a museum and we display an internal html web based presentation featuring images upon selection using a mouse with a physically inhibited right click… to prevent right click actions by visitors breaking out of the full screen display.
We want to move to a touchscreen solution but of course in Edge.. the browser we are currently using …. it will allow right click actions which opens a dialogue box menu allowing a breakout, and also a swipe from the top screen edge will produce the F11 escape function .. also offering access a cancel out off full screen mode.
Does anyone know a way to inhibit both of these facilities in Edge full screen mode so that only hyperlinked graphic buttons in the touchscreen display etc respond to touch control and not general page area touches. Ironically we have managed to inhibit side swiping in this mode using an Edge UI key.. but how do we do this for the top edge swipe? Turning off right click resources in the Windows 11 control panel simply does not work!!
Help if at all possible please!!
