OneDrive is the most lethal application I have ever encountered
After installing Windows 11 on 2 computers, OneDrive took over ( without my knowledge or permission ) and started backing up all of my Documents and Desktop.
I was forced to rebuild both computers!
The operational default for OneDrive should be to ASK and then re-ASK before doing anything.
If MS management is reading this, you should really place some safeguards into this product.
If it wasn’t for OneNote ( a reasonable app ) I would not touch OneDrive ever.
Google Drive is far better.

MDE disable or uninstall
Hello All,
We have onboarded devices to MDE in a setup as follows,
1. Onboard devices to Entra as hybrid entra joined devices
2. Sync/Enroll devices to Intune from on-premise SCCM through co-management config.
3. Onboard devices to MDE from Intune through EDR policy.
Once the device are onboarded, how can we do the following,
1. Disable DFE on a device (to disable protection while troubleshooting. Can we just stop the services?)
2. Uninstall DFE from a device (offboarding through a script would also remove all the policies applied to the device immediately?)
Please guide.

What-If Anlysis not in my version?
I have office 365 through a monthly subscription, and need it for a college class on Excel. However, my version is missing several components:
Under File>Options, it shows only regional settings instead of the full range of options it should display.
On the top ribbon, I do not have: Fill or the What-if Analysis/Scenario Manager (among others)
– i need all of these in order to complete my assignments. Do I have the wrong version? My instructor tells me that I am the only one in class having this issue and does not know how to help me.

Conditional Data Validation

I’m hoping the Excel user community can help me with a question. I have a worksheet that contains a drop-down list in Column B. Available values are ATM, CHK, DEP, and EBT. I would like to set up a validation rule that would require the user to enter a value from 0000-9999 in Column C if “CHK” is selected in Column B. How can I do this?

System Center 2025 – Product Eval links seem broken
Hello – I’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of system center 2025. The product should have RTM-ed nov 1 and indeed, the product pages are all in place and up to date. The evaluation website allows a user (at least for me) to get through the info gathering page and on to the download links. Error message ‘Microsoft Access can’t open the form ‘Temp.”
I work with an Access database designed 30 years ago with which I’ve had no problems with until today. Suddently, when I try to run some functions (crosstab query or design a query) I’m getting this error message:
“Microsoft Access can’t open the form ’temp.’
It contains data that Microsoft Access doesn’t recognize.
Re-create the form or, if you maintain backup copies of your database, retrieve a copy of the form.’”
Sometimes the query has time to run before the message appears but once it does, the application freezes. Click OK or close the box or press Escape, the result is the same: Access closes.
The form ‘temp’ isn’t one I’ve created and doesn’t appear on the preview pane. I can highlight it using ‘analyze performance’ under ‘database tools’ but then I get an error message ‘Application-defined or object-defined error’ and again the application closes.
Exactly the same messages appear when I try to run archived versions of the database which I’d not opened or altered for months – so I think it’s an interface issue between the design of my database and a freshly updated version of Access?
I’ve tried the obvious (compact and repair, safe mode, re-downloading Office 365) but nothing changes this. I have tried creating a new very simple database and can run cross-tab queries in that OK.

2 devices have access to my Microsoft account, sometimes when I log into my device it welcomes me as the other person vice versa. When we try creating a new alias on the other device it does not allow us (I don’t even know what an alias is, all I know is it’s in my name on another person’s device)
Sometimes I find the other device linked to mine, I keep removing the device however it keeps linking itself.
Please help me because it turns out the other device has access to my cloud documents, regardless of whether I’ve logged in or not. I have to get this fixed within next 2 weeks otherwise I’m done for.

Windows 11 24H2 got my pc down
After installing the latest 11 on my laptop .I tried to rename my PC and then the laptop didnt switch on, then I tried to recover the PC to a windows 10 since i didnt have up to 4GB for installing 11 package but unknowingly for me after that all my PC’s memory went and sinve then I have been trying to restore it through a restore point until the laptop started displaying this. Since then I haven’t been able to turn mybpc on. I will love if you can guide me through how to recover my PC back to its initial state where it was using (Win 11 pro and with all my memory restored). I have tried every possible thing to restore and switch it on but it isnt switching on at all. Thank you .Pls this is urgent
