The Problem:

I have already provided feedback to Microsoft regarding this issue and have supported other similar feedback from users upset by the change. However, a recent update has disabled the ability to drag and drop files between sub-folders using the address bar in File Explorer. I have searched extensively for solutions, including rolling back to previous patches, but to no avail. This change significantly impacts my daily computer use, and the lack of a solution is frustrating. I am left wondering why this useful feature was removed, as it has been a standard function in Windows for decades.
