I’m sharing my experience with the Microsoft Learn platform, and I would really appreciate some guidance or support from the community, as this issue has seriously impacted years of hard work.

A few weeks ago, I deleted my Microsoft Learn profile to reset my learning progress. The surprise was this action permanently erased not only my learning data but also my official Microsoft certifications and MC ID. These certifications are not just digital badges they represent years of study, investment, and professional experience, how Microsoft allowing to be wiped with one click?

The Microsoft Learn FAQ explicitly states that deleting user data should not impact Microsoft identity or certification data. However, in my case, the deletion of my profile did exactly that wiped out my certifications and MC ID!

I’ve opened a case on the official support forum here, explaining the situation in detail. Unfortunately, my concerns were not properly addressed, and the response was simply offering apologies without providing a resolution.

Is it fair that I, as a Microsoft certified for years should pay the price for what seems to be a platform issue? I’ve lost years of hard work effort, and money invested in my career. What If I want to take new exams and obtain further certifications, do I get new MC ID, and someone gets mine?

I have provided all the necessary information my deleted MC ID, certification details, and even proof of my earned badges through Credly. Simply asking to recreate a Microsoft Learn Profile with the same MC ID or restore my certifications snice I know my MC ID.

I’m sharing this in the hope that someone can offer advice, escalate this issue, or share any similar experiences. Any help, guidance, or advice would be greatly appreciated, as this situation directly affects my professional standing and years of hard work.
