Teams Shared Device (fka Common Area) Address Classification for Emergency Calling
Hello – I am trying to test the new Address Classification for Teams Shared Devices with statically assigned Emergency address which should result in “Direct to PSAP” routing. I have a user with Teams Shared Device license, a Direct Routing phone number and Emergency Address statically assigned (under Users->Manage Users->Account tab) in TAC.
The PIDF-LO data sent from my Teams Shared Device user contains “Registered” as the address classification which results in the call being sent to the Emergency Call Center instead of PSAP.
<method>Registered</method>
Should I be going about the static address assignment on Teams Shared Devices differently to achieve a different Address Classification?
