Document Ingestion for Gen AI Applications Using Logic Apps
As generative AI gains momentum, efficient data ingestion becomes vital for building intelligent applications. Azure Logic Apps, equipped with over 1,000 enterprise connectors, accelerates this process. Now in public preview, new built-in actions for document parsing and chunking simplify the ingestion of structured and unstructured data into Azure AI Search—allowing developers to focus on innovation rather than repetitive tasks. These out-of-the-box capabilities streamline workflows for AI applications using the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pattern, facilitating faster and more efficient integration of documents and files into your AI solutions. Learn more about the document ingestion feature.
Logic Apps Integration with Semantic Kernel
Azure Logic Apps now integrates with the Semantic Kernel, enhancing its natural language processing (NLP) capabilities and enabling seamless automation of complex workflows across diverse systems. With access to over 1,000 connectors, developers can easily trigger actions and interact with cloud services, on-premises systems, and hybrid environments. This integration expands the potential for building intelligent applications that leverage advanced AI models, empowering developers to scale workflows efficiently and innovate faster.
Templates Support in Azure Logic Apps Standard
Templates Support in Azure Logic Apps Standard is now available, offering developers a powerful way to streamline and accelerate the creation of enterprise integration solutions. These pre-built templates provide ready-to-use workflows tailored for a wide range of scenarios—from simple data transfers to complex automations and event-driven processes. By offering a robust starting point, templates eliminate the need to build workflows from scratch, saving developers time and effort. With this feature now in Public Preview, you can quickly access a growing library of templates to jumpstart your Logic Apps projects, enabling faster deployment and more efficient management of both simple and intricate integrations.
Logic Apps Standard Monitoring Dashboards
We’ve also introduced enhanced monitoring capabilities for Azure Logic Apps Standard. These new dashboards, built using Azure Workbooks, provide curated visualizations to help developers, IT operations teams, and product owners monitor and manage your workflows effectively. Tailor your visualizations to meet your unique needs and gain crucial insights to optimize performance and enhance oversight of your integration scenarios.
General Availability of Workspaces in Azure API Management
We also announced the general availability of Workspaces in Azure API Management! This major enhancement enables organizations to manage their APIs more productively, securely, and reliably by adopting a federated approach. Workspaces provide API teams with greater autonomy, allowing them to independently create, manage, and publish APIs within the same API Management service. This independence fosters faster development with isolated administrative access and dedicated API runtimes. At the same time, the API platform team retains centralized oversight, ensuring seamless monitoring, policy enforcement, compliance, and unified publishing through a single developer portal.
Expanding GenAI Gateway Capabilities
Our commitment to enhancing Azure API Management continues with the rollout of new policies that expand support for various large language models through the Azure AI Model Inference API. These updates address token resource management, ensuring efficient and cost-effective utilization of models, which is crucial for your intelligent applications. Learn about these new GenAI Gateway capabilities.
