How can I make my Copilot for Word be less imaginative?
I have a dvi.doc file containing table with students’ entrance exams’ results (names + scored points). I ask Copilot for Word a prompt “Analyze /dvi.doc”. And then copilot creates a report where along with actual data from my file it pretends to use imaginary source files I never heard of (dvi.xls with qualification exams’ results of the same persons, exam.doc with scores split by subjects etc). Altogether it makes a complete mess. What shall I do to just have my original doc file analyzed in a reliable way?

Messsy contacts in Outlook 365 for Desktop
Hi,
I have Outlook 365 desktop version running under Windows 11. I rarely use Outlook online. In my accounts, I have 3 IMAP/POP3 accounts saved in a single PST file and 2 exchange accounts. The problem I have is that I have a messy contacts in 3 different contact lists that were generated automatically by Outlook.
When I try to send an email to email address removed for privacy reasons I cannot find the name in the search, autcomplete, etc. but I can find it in the exchange contacts for exchange accounts when I never added it. My contacts are messy and useless now.
How can unify my contact list and fix this issue? I have looked at this: method
But I cannot make this approach work in my case.
Thanks

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint List of detections. (Alerts and Incidents)
Hello.
I am looking for a complete or at least well-documented list of detections that Microsoft “Defender for endpoint” can actually detect as:
“Malicious credential theft tool execution detected”
We need to show some clients the missing detections that they don´t have because Defender is not active!… so if we have a list of detections it is easier to understand the surface of protection of the EDR.
Hope someone has something!

Recommend me a good YouTube-video-downloader for PC Windows 11?
I am preparing a speech recently and need to use some video materials to enrich the content. I tried to download related videos from YouTube, but encountered some problems. Several online YouTube-video-downloader download services I used before had too many ads, slow download speeds, and often stopped downloading halfway. I am looking for a tool suitable for Windows 11 that can save videos stably and quickly. If you have any good recommendations or similar experiences, please share them with me, thank you very much!

Hello!
Does anyody have a solution share for the following two problems:
1. When connecting to Tableau the units of the metric seem to show billion times larger. Why so?

HP Printer Compatibility with Windows 10 64-bit for Startup Printing
Hello,
I am new to this platform and seeking assistance with a vexing printer issue before resorting to drastic measures…
A while back, my trusty HP Photosmart D7360 printer – despite its vintage charm and reliable performance – began exhibiting a peculiar habit of spontaneously springing to life and churning out nonsensical printouts. At first, I suspected a potential driver hiccup, prompting me to take the drastic step of uninstalling and reinstalling the printer, hoping to refresh the drivers in the process.
Initially, this workaround seemed effective, bringing respite from the bizarre printing episodes. However, to my dismay, the problem resurfaced a couple of weeks ago, plunging me into a maddening cycle of printer woes. A fellow user on a different forum hinted at the possibility of a rogue Windows update wreaking havoc on the printer drivers. Could this really be the culprit? How can I tackle this tech conundrum? Are there others grappling with a similar predicament?
I appreciate any guidance and insights on this confounding printer puzzle.

HP laptop automatically turning on and off on its own
Hello everyone, I’m in need of assistance with a perplexing issue.
My HP Elitebook 840 laptop has started behaving erratically. Upon pressing the power button, it powers up and functions normally for a variable duration, ranging from 30 seconds to 10 minutes. Unexpectedly, it then abruptly shuts down, and subsequent attempts to turn it back on are unsuccessful. It remains off.
Strangely, the laptop spontaneously restarts at unpredictable intervals, sometimes after an hour and occasionally up to twelve hours later. The only indication of this is when the Windows welcome startup sound plays.
I am unable to provide the Windows 10 version number as the laptop shuts down before I can locate it. However, it has been consistently updated until this issue arose a few weeks ago.
Despite not overheating and with the fan working properly, the problem persists even after swapping the SSD with an identical clone. The battery has been ruled out as a cause. During a brief period when the laptop remained on, it was tested and found to be in good condition. This behavior occurs regardless of whether the laptop is connected to a power source.
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Exchange online and MGGraph are interfering
I am creating a new script. The script is running unattended. The script doing a couple things, the important part here is: setting a new user a license and setting the new user mailbox Address book policy. The address book is an Exchange online task the license is Graph. I am getting an error.
How to reproduce the error:
1. connect to MgGraph, I am using this command
Connect-MgGraph -TenantId $tenantID -AppId $appID -CertificateThumbprint $CertificateThumbPrint -NoWelcome
do some work, Disconnect-MgGraph
2. Connect to Exchange online, in the same script:
Connect-ExchangeOnline -CertificateThumbPrint $CertificateThumbPrint -AppID $appID -Organization $tenantID -CommandName Get-EXOMailbox,Get-mailbox,Set-mailbox -SkipLoadingCmdletHelp -ShowBanner:$false
The command verbose debug output is this:

I tired:
updateing both modules to the latest versionremoveing the Microsoft.Graph and Microsoft.Graph.Authentication module before connecting to Exchange onlineclearing the token cache file from AppDataLocal.IdentityServicemg.msal.cache
I would like to avoid running two separate script or script isolation like new processes or jobs. Because i need to pass many variables between the two script, input and output.
The app I am using and the cert is okay. If i am running separately it is working, so I can connect Exchange online with it.
Any idea why is this happening? What should i check?

“Added More RAM, Windows 10 Fails to Boot”
After purchasing the RAM modules from Best Buy, I encountered an issue where my computer would not boot up properly after installation. Despite the fan running, my monitor displayed nothing. My computer has four slots – two white and two black. The initial 8GB RAM module was in the first black slot. I attempted to install two new 8GB RAM modules into the two white slots, but my computer still failed to start. Subsequently, I tried installing just one of the new modules into the remaining black slot, but the issue persisted. Ultimately, I had to remove the new module, and my computer resumed normal operation with only the original module installed.

“Windows 10 Installation Issues: Seeking Solutions for Frustrating Crashes”
Greetings,
I am encountering difficulties while attempting to reinstall Windows 10, and I am concerned about the potential loss of my data and applications. Furthermore, my current hard drive does not offer sufficient storage capacity to create a backup. Despite my efforts to initiate the Windows 10 setup process, it consistently crashes. I have also tried entering safe mode, which allowed me to progress a bit further; however, I was unable to complete the installation due to system limitations. In an attempt to troubleshoot, I disabled all non-Microsoft services and startup programs using ‘msconfig,’ which enabled me to reach 100% completion during the update in normal mode, only for it to crash afterward.

How to Discover a Subtle Startup Catalyst?
I’m interested in understanding how the OperaGX Browser app initiates upon computer login. Despite examining the user Startup folder, the All Users Startup folder, and searching for a service, I have been unable to determine its startup method. Specifically, I am seeking information within Windows 10 that specifies the app’s activation upon Windows startup or login, rather than a setting within the application. My goal is to prevent its launch using a tool like Group Policy.

“Unpublish” button not showing on “Site Pages” library where “Approve/Reject” Flow configured
Hi,
I have SharePoint “Site Pages” Library where Site Pages or News Posts are getting created. I have configured “Power Automate Flow” for Approval/Reject for selected item/page. Earlier I used to get “Unpublish” button on clicking on “More” option for selected item. But recently I am not getting this option instead getting as “Send for Approval or Cancel Approval”.
How can I enable “Unpublish” button again keeping Power Automate intact ? Or is this default behavior of functionality in SharePoint Online If so is there any documentation available ?
Regards,
Pratik

Replace partial text string from column based on value
I need to replace the value of column A with a value depending on part of the content of the cell in column A.
So let’s say…
A2 = “Company-a2”, I want to replace only the ‘a’ with a ‘c’, making the result “Company-c2” BUT if…
A2 = “Company-b2”, I want to replace only the ‘b’ with a ‘d’, making the result “Company-d2”
Pulling my hair out with this one 🤪

Fabric API: Update user scopes
Context: The token I generated was retrieved by logging in with ‘Login-PowerBI’, followed by “Get-PowerBiAccessToken -asstring” inside of Powershell. This token was then copied and used inside of postman for the authorization. I didn’t use any extra parameters. Since the current usage of a Service Principal is quite limited for the Fabric API, we’re opting to use the personal bearer token.
Scenario: At our company we’re trying to experiment a bit with the MS Fabric API (https://api.fabric.microsoft.com). We’ve been able to use the API to list the workspaces, items, … basically most standard get calls you could imagine.
We are able to create workspaces via my individual token, but I’m unable to create individual items inside of a workspace. This is due to the fact that I don’t have any individual item level scopes assigned to me for now. My current scopes are: “App.Read.All Capacity.Read.All Capacity.ReadWrite.All Content.Create Dashboard.Read.All Dashboard.ReadWrite.All Dataflow.Read.All Dataflow.ReadWrite.All Dataset.Read.All Dataset.ReadWrite.All Gateway.Read.All Gateway.ReadWrite.All Pipeline.Deploy Pipeline.Read.All Pipeline.ReadWrite.All Report.Read.All Report.ReadWrite.All StorageAccount.Read.All StorageAccount.ReadWrite.All Tenant.Read.All Tenant.ReadWrite.All UserState.ReadWrite.All Workspace.Read.All Workspace.ReadWrite.All”
As you can see, it’s quite normal that I’m only able to create a Workspace. But I want to be able to assign e.g. “Notebook.ReadWrite.All” to my user. How do I do this for an individual user? I’m trying to automate as much as possible using Powershell scripts, but the current scopes are quite limited.
Goal: Using a personal bearer token (not generated through a service principal) to create a notebook item. Endpoint: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/fabric/core/items/create-item?tabs=HTTP
Question: Is it possible to do this without the usage of a service principal? I know you can use the copy(PowerBIAccessToken) inside of the dev-tools in your browser, but I want to do it more automatically.
Hopefully this is the right section to ask such things, and thank you in advance for your help!
