FAQ: Are publicly available plans the only plans available to use with private offers?
We are discussing the Private offer configuration and prerequisites and looking for a bit of clarity.
We established that a public plan required based on the prerequisites mentioned in the following links:

According to the above links, associating a private offer with a Private Plan is out of question. The benefit of a private offer is to offer a discounted rate which based on the already created public plan (does not make sense creating a private offer if the ISV is going to offer the full public plan price) and possibly associated it with specific terms and conditions different from the one already associated with the public plan.
My questions:
Is the Public plan the only plan to use with the private offer?
Some ISVs do not want to have their offer publicly available (only wants to work with specific type of clientele). If public plan is the only type of plan to associate the private offer with, it won’t be useful for the ISV. Because anyone can see the public plan and purchase the solution.
Validation required every time a new plan created. In the case of a private offer, the offer will be associated with an already existing public plan (if no transactable offer in place, when an offer and a public plan created, a validation required in this case). Will validation kick in in this scenario?
A:
yes, a public plan is required and is the only way to issue a private offer. Anyone can potentially purchase that plan but the ISV still needs to activate the plan for the purchase to complete – However, if the ISV does not activate, the subscription automatically expires in 30 days – so really no action is necessary (they don’t need to decline – they can just ignore). As a plus side, you can treat those purchases as leads, and choose to interact with the customer and see if this can translate in an actual sale. Additionally, please note that a private offer is not just a discount to a public plan, it can also be an absolute price – so the public plan can be set to $1 as to not divulge the anything about the ISV pricing – and then the actual price can be entered in the private offer only
You can create multiple private offers based on the same public plan, so you do not need to create a public plan for every sale. The sales cycle for the private offer is very fast – usually takes 15 minutes to configure and issue a private offer – no validation, certification required.

Sharepoint New/Edit Item stuck on Date field

This issue is occurring across all Sharepoint Lists in my organisation – Sharepoint is getting stuck on a date field when adding a new item or editing an existing one. It highlights one Date field, like below, and doesn’t let me click to edit any of the other fields.

Scheduled Duration is incorrect: reasons unknown
I have added the screenshot from my project. ofcourse it is an exception that i am defining the tasks in seconds (for example, 0.01 for a task)
1. i am not able to enter anything below 0.01 Hrs. is it the lower limit what can be entered into project ?
2. the 0.01 task duration is shown as 0.02 hrs scheduled duration. this happens only with this particular robot resource based tasks. can some one clarify, where is the error

Mail being Sent out via Server with no Send Connector configured
Exchange 2019 on prem – fully patched in a 2 Server DAG config
Only server 1 is configured to send out e-mails via the Send Connector
ie – in Scoping of the Send Connector, only server 1 is listed in the Source Server
However, occasional e-mails are going out via server 2
They are getting bounced because we dont; have reverse dns and other things set up for it
Why are some e-mails going out via Server 2 ?

Unity App Stuck Loading On HoloLens 2
I am following this document and this tutorial to test AR on a HoloLens 2, and I go to the part where I have a Unity game with all the proper setup (ie. build settings are correct, I used Unity AR feature tool, etc.) and with 2 squares.
I built the project and opened the solution, and then I set the configuration to “Release,” platform to “ARM64,” and set it to “Device” because I have the HoloLens directly connected to my laptop.
I selected the Unity app solution and right-clicked it to “Set as Startup Project.” Then, I pressed the green button next to “Device” to build and deploy it.
The first time, I got prompted to enter a pin after a bit, which I did, and once the deployment was done, the app showed in the “All Apps” section, but once I clicked on it, I got a window that had a white background with a box with an X in the middle of the screen. On top, there is a blue circle with a white loading circle that was loading for forever.
I tried rebuilding it multiple times and double-checking my Unity build settings, but those were correct.
How can I fix this issue?
I’m using Unity version 2022.3.20f1.

Grouping dates by quarter using Copilot in Excel
Hi everyone, over the last few weeks we have had a series of posts to show you some of the things that are possible to do with Copilot in Excel. Today I will start with a (fictional) list of books and book sales. I would like to group sales by quarters to see the impact on my business.

I ask Copilot:

Hi everyone, over the last few weeks we have had a series of posts to show you some of the things that are possible to do with Copilot in Excel. Today I will start with a (fictional) list of books and book sales. I would like to group sales by quarters to see the impact on my business.

Notes Tab in Standard Channels
Hello,
According to this page, Microsoft Teams users will soon get a Notes tab powered by OneNote. This tab will be added by default to the tabs bar across the top of new standard channels.
I don’t see this Notes tab when creating a standard channel. Did this change?
I am trying to determine the best way of taking notes in a Team and in a MS Team Meeting, so doing a little investigating. Found this page as well and Notes is not available in my meeting menu. Also found this page but don’t have the option of adding an agenda, tasks, notes here either. I assume none of these features are available for EDU.
Is the best option to add the OneNote app to the Team and to the Meeting?

Unable to connect to windows mssql 2022 update 14 running on opposite node
We are in the attempt of creating a Always On, 2 node, setup. We were sucessful in windows 2016 and mssql. We reloaded to Windows 2022 server, and MSSQL Server 2022 Developer Edition.
We get MSSQL and SSMS loaded on both boxes. We create a database and create and grant the required DB user. On node1, we connect to DB just fine with SSMS using SQL Authentication.
On Node 2 we use SSMS to try to connect to node1 (with SQL Authentication) without success, just the generic network error. Our DBA has MSSQL server at his house he tests with, and we cannot find the differences. we can ping node1 from 2, we can \ node1 from node2 (i know different mechanisms), but network is not the issue. we can rdp to each other.
Is there something new in SQL Server 2022 that we are overlooking? We cannot connect to the DB running on NODE1 from other SQL developer tools either.
1) The SQL server properties are set to permit remote login, (have not enabled Always On yet, until we can get basic connectivity tested).
2) MS Defender Firewall has been disabled.
3) NODE1 Can connect to itself without issue.
4) NO corp external firwall in the way, had them check that.
5) NO Domain involved, just a workgroup between the 2 server.

Managing Googlebot/Bingbot Exclusions in Security JavaScript without Impacting SEO
I need to add an important security related javascript on my HTML pages that detects a few signals like presence of selenium variables in widnow/document objects. Once something is detected, a request is sent to my backend to capture this data.
Googlebot / bingbot may also emit some of these signals (I am tracking 20+ signals) & these bots make thousands of visits to my various webpages. So somehow I do not want to execute the script for these bots.
1. If I use useragent, either on backend to totally exclude this script for googlebot or on frontend to not execute the script – will it be safe for my SEO? Can Googlebot penalize this assuming script is used for cloaking etc.?
2. How bot detection companies like Human Security (PerimeterX) manage this? Do they track even Googlebot activity?

Really slow indexing of sharepoint site
Has anyone experience this issue with PNP search V4
I have created a new communication Sharepoint online site with about 20K files.
Using the PNP search webpart i built a search page for users. Once i was finished and added the users as visitors for the Sharepoint site. But users only see a fraction of the results. The search total numbers are increasing which means that its the site is indexing, but its indexing about 100 files per day which is really slow

RSVPs show up incorrectly

Does anyone else have inconsistent RSVP displays?
We’ve been experiencing this for a few weeks quite randomly where a member of the team RSVPd in a certain way (Yes/No) and Outlook for everyone shows that they “have not responded.”
See an example of my own RSVP (Yes, I attend), which shows as Not Responded.
Is this a bug?

M365 Exchange : Contact suppression Issue

we created a guest account to share a file, but we had a problem. There Are two exchange contact was created and I can’t suppress there. Mail can’t be deliver to this external contact with this error :
Reason: [{LED=420 4.2.0 Transient Failure during recipients lookup AmbiguousRecipientTransientException, Exception of type ‘Microsoft.Exchange.Transport.Categorizer.AmbiguousRecipientTransientException’ was thrown.};{MSG=};{FQDN=};{IP=};{LRT=}]
I could suppress Guest account on Entra ID, and I did, but I have already this two Exchange Mail contact account.
I used graphic interface and powershell commande :

Set a reminder flow in SharePoint Document library is currently not working
A customer pointed out to me last week that it is not possible to set a reminder flow in document libraries. I checked this today in our tenant’s existing and new team websites – it is true.
When you click on Automate > Set a reminder > [name of column], nothing happens.
The column “Review” here is Date and time for sure
This worked exactly this way weeks ago. I noted the steps in my user-guides.
Can someone confirm please?

Hybrid Join Process – Question
Hello all,
I’m looking for information regarding Hybrid Join process because it is not clear for me, this is what I have:
Entra Connect syncs what I have under the OU I have specified on its configurations.I have joined a new device to on-prem AD, out of that OU, therefore Entra Connect will not sync the device.The device can reach the Microsoft endpoints (Network connectivity requirements accomplished)
What happens when Entra Connect does not sync the device but it’s triggered the Automatic Device Join task? Will it become hybrid join even without Entra Connect synched it?
I have read this:
Hybrid join is a process initiated from the device itself and Azure AD. Hybrid Join does not depend on, nor is able to be achieved from Azure AD Connect, though AAD Connect does stage the device in Azure, allowing policies to be more immediately applied and AAD Connect
Is this correct?
So, when Entra Connect syncs the device the purpose is only to, let’s say, provision the device in Entra ID ?
If Entra Connect does not sync the device, Hybrid Join will happen no matter what?
