Copilot of Microsoft 365- Issue in using Copilot in MS Outlook app with Digital Signatures Enabled
Hello Community ,
Am using Copilot for MS365 in Outlook app. I have digital signatures enabled( S/MIME Certificate).
When i open a new email to draft , CoPilot is disabled, but gets enabled when i disable the Digital Sign option. Certificate is used just for signing , and not for encryption.
Checked in Microsoft site, this is what they say . Anyone encountered this issue? Any workaround?

Purview DLP: Paste to supported browsers
I’ve enabled a policy that audits “Paste to Supported Browsers.” The policy applies if the file has a specific sensitivity label assigned. When I copy content from the file to an unallowed domain e.g. gmail.com I’m not seeing the activity recorded in the log.
I’m reading the Microsoft endpoint data loss prevention page definition for “paste to supported browser” and it appears to only apply if the content copied itself is sensitive e.g. a social security number pattern. So I’m guessing there’s no way to prevent users from copying content from a sensitive file and pasting to an unallowed domain. Is that right?
“Detects when a user attempts to paste content to a restricted service domain. Evaluation is performed on the content that is being pasted. This evaluation is independent of how the source item that the content came from is classified.”

Announcing Windows Server Preview Build 26252
Announcing Windows Server Preview Build 26252
Hello Windows Server Insiders!
Today we are pleased to release a new build of the next Windows Server Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) Preview that contains both the Desktop Experience and Server Core installation options for Datacenter and Standard editions, Annual Channel for Container Host and Azure Edition (for VM evaluation only). Branding has been updated for the upcoming release, Windows Server 2025, in this preview – when reporting issues please refer to Windows Server 2025 preview. If you signed up for Server Flighting, you should receive this new build automatically.
What’s New
Delegated Managed Service Accounts (dMSA)
A new account type known as delegated Managed Service Account (dMSA) is now available that allows migration from a traditional service account to a machine account with managed and fully randomized keys, while disabling original service account passwords.
Authentication for dMSA is linked to the device identity, which means that only specified machine identities mapped in AD can access the account. Using dMSA helps to prevent harvesting credentials using a compromised account (kerberoasting), which is a common issue with traditional service accounts.
To learn more about dMSA, visit https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/security/delegated-managed-service-accounts/delegated-managed-service-accounts-overview.
Windows Server Flighting is here!!
If you signed up for Server Flighting, you should receive this new build automatically later today.
For more information, see Welcome to Windows Insider flighting on Windows Server – Microsoft Community Hub
The new Feedback Hub app is now available for Server Desktop users! The app should automatically update with the latest version, but if it does not, simply Check for updates in the app’s settings tab.
Known Issues
Upgrade does not complete: Some users may experience an issue when upgrading where the download process does not progress beyond 0%. If you encounter this issue, please upgrade to this newer build using the ISO media download option. Download Windows Server Insider Preview (microsoft.com)
Access denied error when using Diskpart –> Clean Image on Winpe.vhdx VMs created using WinPE: Create bootable media | Microsoft Learn. We are working to resolve this issue and expect to have it fixed in the next preview release.
Download Windows Server Insider Preview (microsoft.com)
Flighting: The label for this flight may incorrectly reference Windows 11. However, when selected, the package installed is the Windows Server update. Please ignore the label and proceed with installing your flight. This issue will be addressed in a future release.
Setup: Some users may experience overlapping rectangle voids following mouse clicks during “OOBE” setup. This is a graphics rendering issue and will not prevent setup from completing. This issue will be addressed in a future release.
WinPE – Powershell Scripts: Applying the WinPE-Powershell optional component does not properly install Powershell in WinPE. As a result, Powershell cmdlets will fail. Customers who are dependent on Powershell in WinPE should not use this build.
If you are validating upgrades from Windows Server 2019 or 2022, we do not recommend that you use this build as intermittent upgrade failures have been identified for this build.
This build has an issue where archiving eventlogs with “wevetutil al” command causes the Windows Event Log service to crash, and the archive operation to fail. The service must be restarted by executing “Start-Service EventLog” from an administrative command line prompt.
If you have Secure Launch/DRTM code path enabled, we do not recommend that you install this build.

OneNote Copilot now supports inked notes
We released OneNote Copilot in November 2023, and initially this feature could only read and analyze typed text. But now Copilot is able to analyze both typed text and handwritten (inked) notes in OneNote, both via the ribbon and from the canvas!
How it works
To access OneNote Copilot via the ribbon:
Open OneNote and navigate to a section of handwritten ink.
Select the Copilot icon on the ribbon to open the Copilot pane.
Ask Copilot a question about your handwritten ink notes.
To access OneNote Copilot via the canvas:
Select a group of ink strokes with touch, pen, or mouse.
Click on the Copilot icon to open the dropdown menu.
Select one of the Copilot menu prompts and let Copilot do its magic — summarize, rewrite, or even generate a To-Do list!
Scenarios to try
Ask Copilot a question about your OneNote notebook that contains handwritten and text notes to get an answer instantly.
Prompt Copilot to summarize your inked notes in preparation for a meeting or an exam.
Select To-Do from the Copilot menu on the canvas to create a task list based on the content of your handwritten notes.
Availability
This feature is available to Insiders running OneNote on Windows Version 2404 (Build 17628.20006) or later.

This V3 EXO PowerShell module contains new REST API backed Exchange Online cmdlets which doesn’t require WinRM for Client-Server communication. You can now run these cmdlets after turning off WinRM Basic Auth in your client machine thus making it more secure.
Unlike the EXO* prefixed cmdlets, the cmdlets in this module support full functional parity with the RPS (V1) cmdlets.
V3 cmdlets in the downloaded module are resilient to transient failures, handling retries and throttling errors inherently.
REST backed EOP and SCC cmdlets are also available in the V3 module. Similar to EXO, the cmdlets can be run without WinRM basic auth enabled.

Windows11 remote desktop does not work with non ascii chars in username
After updating my system from Windows10 to Windows11 I am unable to login via remote desktop into another computer where the login contains a non ascii character. It always displays that provided credentials do not work despite providing the correct ones. That another computer has 2 accounts on it, where one of those contains non ascii character and the other one does not. I am only not able to login on the one with non ascii character. The other one works seamlessly.
Couple years ago on that other computer I changes the username to not contain non ascii character, but unfortunately Windows lies about changing username because it only changes the displayed name. Couple weeks ago I tried to change all the registry keys which contain the username with non ascii char (while being logged on the other account), but after restart Windows always changes them back.
Two questions:
1. What shell I do to be able to use RDP on Windows 11 and be able to login to a computer with non ascii char in a username?
2. Or what shell I do to force Windows10 (the other computer) to change the username to not contain the non-asci char?

Formatting a Numbr in Forms and Reports
I’ve been trying to find something on this, but I’m continually running into dead ends.
On a form or report, I’d like to format a number so that it shows correctly.
The field is bound to a table, not a text field.
Take the number 1234.56 as entered into a field. I would like for it to display 1,234.56.
If the number is 1234.5, I would like for it to display 1,234.5, not 1,234.50,
If the number is 1234, I would like for it to display 1,234, not 1,234.00.
So the format would need to adjust the decimal places as what is entered into the field.
Thanks in advance
Jeff
