Copy data task in pipeline gives error “InternalServerError executing request”
I am getting this error when running the pipeline either on a trigger or manually. It goes into a queued status for 3-4 minutes and then fails. Each copy task is copying data from an Azure SQL database to an Azure SQL Managed instance. The connectivity on all source and destination datasets is good and I am able to preview the data. I’ve checked the timeout settings (set to default) and the health monitor of the ADF shows online and available. Can someone please tell me why this error is occurring and what I can do about it?

Combining Excel Files
I have 5 separate spreadsheet files (example below) laid out like this that all need combining.
Each file contains different data but the headers in bold are the same.
I tried to combine these using power query but came across 2 main issues and didnt get very far:
1. I have no option to select ‘folder’ as a data source (all the 5 spreadsheets are kept in 1 folder)
2. All the examples I could find are using data spread across columns, not in rows like mine. I have tried transposing my data but it needs to be kept in these rows.
Can anybody please advise me the best solution here?
(I am using a mac and will receive new data every month)

generate a list of instances
Hello. Please see this example of what I’m trying to do. I don’t want to have to come manually filter my table every time. I want a formula that will generate a list of all case numbers that have a severity C type Dog. My actual table is enormous, and this list will actually be on a different sheet. Thanks so much!

MS List no space for unique value
I made this List over a year ago and have been using it since with no issues. Then when I entered a new item this week, the columns where I can enter unique values as an option is gone and I can’t enter values anymore. Here are the things I did to troubleshoot:
Check Column Settings – Can add values manually is selected Check List Settings – In the column where unique value is enabled – Allow ‘fill-in’ choices is selected Tried adding a new Choice column with Can add values manually as an option – still not showing a space to enter unique value
Does anyone know what is happening and/or has a solution?

Help! – Excel formatting shifts columns after filtering
Hello,
I have a gannt chart in Excel that displays 6 weeks of data. I currently have 30,000 rows of data to filter through based on different departments. I am getting a weird visual bug now after filtering where my columns appear to have shifted, yet the formulas and formatting are all consistent. Clearing the filters then returned the formatting back to normal.

SharePoint Online – How can I add managed properties to search results?
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
How can I add managed properties to search results in SharePoint Online?
I have some crawled properties matched with manged properties and also with refinable properties like RefinableString01.
I have also created custom search result page.
I have also updated the CustomString.js file like that:
But how ca I add these properties to the results of the search. So that these values will be displayed with the information about documents like title and URL address?
In the SharePoint Server it was possible to do.
Thank you

Public Preview: Customer Managed Planned Failover for Azure Storage
Azure Storage is excited to announce customer managed Planned Failover for Azure Storage is now available in public preview.
Over the past few years Azure Storage has offered customer managed (unplanned) failover as a disaster recovery solution for geo-redundant storage accounts. This has enabled our users to meet their business requirements for disaster recovery testing and compliance. Planned failover now provides the same benefits while introducing additional benefits to our storage users.
Planned Failover provides the ability to swap your geo primary and secondary region while the storage service endpoints are still healthy. As a result, a user can now failover their storage account while keeping geo-redundancy and with no data loss or additional cost. Users will no longer need to reconfigure geo-redundant storage (GRS) after their planned failover operation which will save them both time and cost. Once the planned failover operation is completed all new writes will be made to your original secondary region, which will now be your primary region.
There are multiple scenarios where Planned Failover can be utilized including:
Planned disaster recovery testing drills to validate business continuity and disaster recovery.
Recovering from a partial outage that occurs in the primary region where storage is not impacted. For example, if your storage service endpoints are healthy in both regions, but another Microsoft or 3rd party service is facing an outage in the primary region you can failover your storage services. In this scenario, once you failover the storage account and all other services your workloads can continue to work.
A proactive solution in preparation of large-scale disasters that may impact a region. To prepare for a disaster such as a hurricane, users can leverage Planned Failover to failover to their secondary region then failback once things are resolved.
Planned failover supports Blob, ADLS Gen2, Table, File and Queue data.
Key differences between our customer managed (unplanned) failover and planned failover are highlighted below:
Unplanned Failover
Planned Failover
After an unplanned failover is completed the storage account is converted to Locally Redundant Storage (LRS) and the secondary region becomes the new primary region.
After a planned failover is completed the storage account remains Geo Redundant Storage (GRS). The secondary region becomes the new primary region, and the primary region becomes the new secondary region.
Once an unplanned failover is initiated the operation begins immediately. Writes that were pending replication to the secondary region (made after the Last Sync Time) will potentially be lost. Users can utilize their Last Sync Time to determine the recovery point of their storage account.
Once a planned failover is initiated the first step is replicating pending writes (writes made after the Last Sync Time) to the secondary region. As a result, the Last Sync Time is caught up before the and there should be no data loss.
Primary use case: a storage related outage in the primary region.
Primary use case: to test the Failover workflow or a non-storage related outage in the primary region.
An unplanned failover can be used when the primary storage endpoints are unavailable (there is a storage related outage on the primary region).
A planned failover works while the primary and secondary storage endpoints are available.
Regions Planned Failover currently supports
Southeast Asia
East Asia
West Europe
France Central
East US 2
Central US
UK South
Australia East
Switzerland North

Formula Bar behind ribbon in Excel for web
For several weeks, on different computers and various sized monitors, I have been unable to access the formula bar when the ribbon is Always showing or Adjusting automatically, whether that ribbon is classic or single line.
On the attached screen captures, you see that the formula bar is checked in the View Menu. The first image you don’t see the formula bar at all, but on the second image you can see the bottom of the formula bar if it is adjusted to be 2 or more lines tall.
Any suggestions?

App password for service account when using Security Defaults
We are using M365 Business Standard licenses and have security defaults enabled. We need to have a service account setup to allow devices (printers, scanners, etc…) to send mail outside our tenant. I cannot find a way to setup an app password or exclude this account from MFA since we can’t use conditional access. Is there a way to do this without disabling security defaults? Hoping I’m missing something here.
Thanks!

Open Workspaces within the same window
I’m on macOS Sonoma 14.5.
While (trying) working with Workspaces I saw the following.
If you have many spaces (mine are 6) then having N separate windows for every WS is just garbaging your screen.
In my not humble opinion, Workspaces must reuse one window rather than open next one for each one.
Examples of suggested: Vivaldi, Opera.
Please, fix/implement this.
