How to turn off future updates on Windows 11?
Is there any way to turn off all future updates on Windows 11. I just don’t want my computer to update and give me that **bleep** AI co-pilot. I already got enough AI garbage in front of my face. So please how would I just disable all future updates?
Thanks

Issue with Automatic CC to Self in Exchange Account on Apple Mail
I am wondering if anyone has encountered similar issue. I am using Mail (v16.0) on macOS Sonoma (14.5) on a 2020 iMac 27″. I have several email accounts set up, including an iCloud account and an Exchange (Office 365) account. When I respond to an email using the ‘Reply All’ button from the Exchange (O365) account, my email address is automatically added to the CC field, which is quite frustrating. This issue does not occur when I use the ‘Reply’ button. In the Mail Preferences under Composing, I have “automatically cc: myself” unchecked. This problem is happening exclusively with the Exchange (O365) account. When I used Outlook with the same Exchange account, this issue did not occur.

I got a weird error message with QuickBooks Error codes 6190, how to deal with it?
I’ve been working on my QuickBooks for a while today, but when I tried to open my company file just now, I got a weird error message with QuickBooks Error codes 6190 and -816. It says “QuickBooks is Unable to Open this Company File.” This is frustrating because I haven’t made any changes to the file or the software recently.
I’ve done some searching online and found that -6190 might be related to a mismatch between the company file and the transaction log file, or even another user trying to access it at the same time. The -816 code doesn’t seem to be as common.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
I closed and restarted QuickBooks completely.I checked for updates and made sure I’m running the latest version.
Unfortunately, the error message is still there.
Since this seems like a trickier issue, I was hoping someone might have some additional ideas for how to fix it. Here are some specific things I’m curious about:
Could there be other reasons for these error codes besides a file mismatch or another user accessing the file?Is there a safe way to try repairing the company file myself, or should I avoid that?If it is a network issue because the file is stored on a server, are there any specific checks I can do on that end?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Error accessing Project Plan in customer’s Sharepoint Online environment
Brief description of the issue:
Our user is collaborating with a customer organisation that has provided access to a folder on their Sharepoint Online environment where a Microsoft Project plan (*.mpp) file is stored (eg.
https://customername.sharepoint.com/:u:/r/sites/sitename/Shared%20Documents/Project%20Plans/Project%20Plan%20Release%20V1.mpp?csf=1&web=1&e=3SsAQi)
Our user has been assigned a Project Online Plan 3 license, and has the associated Microsoft Project application installed to his computer
If our user tries to open the Project plan (*.mpp) file directly from the customer’s Sharepoint environment he encounters an error as per the attached screenshot (“Project cannot open the file. Check that the file name and path are correct. Check that the file format is recognised by Project. Project files saved in a version earlier than Microsoft Project 2000 can’t be opened. If your file is from an earlier version, open it in that version, click Save As (File menu), and save in MPX format. Open the MPX file in the current version of Project. When you use this method, project data is imported, but formatting is lost’)
However, if the user downloads the Project plan (*.mpp) file from the customers Sharepoint site to his computer hard disk, he is able to successfully open/edit & save the file from the local copy before uploading it back to the customers Sharepoint site.
We are trying to understand why the user is unable to directly open & edit the Project plan from the customers Sharepoint site (ie. the 3rd bullet point above) given that our user clearly has access to the Sharepoint site and has a Sharepoint Online Plan 3 license assigned by our organisation.
Any suggestions ?

How to locate Start Menu items in the file system…
.. NOT the StartUP Menu, which is in AppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuProgramsStartup – the Start Menu folder? I’ve been Googling for 1/2 an hour and all of my search results bring me to articles about how to find the Startup folder. I want to manually organize the Apps listed in my Start Menu. Where can I find that?
IIRC, I found a while ago that there are actually several file system locations that affect what shows up in the Start Menu, but I believe that was back in early Win 10 days, so maybe they cleaned that up.
I did find some of the Start Menu items in AppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuPrograms (part of the above path), but that’s not all of them by any means.
