Windows 10 Unable to Run Queuebuster POS Software
Hi everyone,
I’m having trouble running Queuebuster POS software on my Windows 10 system. The application either fails to start or crashes soon after launching. Here are the details:
Issue:
Program opens briefly then closes without an error message.Occasionally shows “Queuebuster POS has stopped working” error.Sometimes hangs on the loading screen.
System Specs:
OS: Windows 10 Pro, 64-bitProcessor: Intel Core i5-8600KRAM: 16 GBGPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 TiQueuebuster POS Version: 3.2.1
Steps Tried:
Compatibility mode for Windows 7/8Running as administratorReinstallationWindows and driver updatesDisabling antivirus temporarily
Other software’s are also take time to load, and there are no specific error logs I can find.
Has anyone faced similar issues? Any solutions or suggestions would be appreciated!

Yammer Integration to get notifications
Hi all,
I am trying to integrate Yammer with ServiceNow and trying to pull in notifications where a user has been mentioned/tagged.
Till now, I have been successful to authenticate with Yammer using AAD token (Ref: Yammer API with AAD tokens Postman Collection – Microsoft Community Hub)
But, when pulling in data using Yammer REST API (Ref: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/yammer/messagesjson), I’m getting data only for currently logged in user.
Is there a way by which I can pull data for all users within a particular time frame or if I can use some other REST API for the same?

Sharpist 2024 – AI Hackathon in Uzbekistan
The vibrant tech community of Uzbekistan, Microsoft Developers Community (MDC Uzbekistan) successfully hosted their first AI hackathon, Sharpist Hackathon 2024, in collaboration with IT Investments Center (ITIC), ITSkills, and INHA University in Tashkent (IUT). This initiative attracted 140 teams from Uzbekistan and neighboring countries, all eager to develop cutting-edge AI-based services.
In this blog article, we will introduce an overview of the hackathon, its results, and the key points that led to new innovations.
Challenge overview: Using AI to generate test questionnaires based on Microsoft Technologies
The Sharpist Hackathon 2024 was centered around the challenge of creating test questionnaires utilizing AI. Participating teams were required to develop AI-based solutions that adapt to each user’s knowledge level and learning style, and that are compatible with various platforms such as the web and mobile. Therefore, they focused on creating algorithms capable of understanding diverse contexts through critical thinking and on designing intuitive user interfaces.
Developing such advanced systems requires a meticulous selection of technologies. Many teams chose Microsoft Azure for its scalability and flexibility in operating complex AI systems. Additionally, they utilized pre-built AI tools like Cognitive Services, which provide necessary resources for natural language processing (NLP).
Congratulations to the winners!
After an intensive 50-hour development period, expert judges, including Microsoft MVPs, Microsoft Certified Trainers, and other tech specialists reviewed participating teams’ solutions. The evaluation led to the recognition of three standout teams: “Dots” and “Brush Tech” from Uzbekistan, and “Balmuzdaq Studio” from Kazakhstan. These teams impressed the judges with their creativity and technical expertise, earning high praise. “Their solutions stood out for their innovative use of Microsoft technologies, seamless integration and commitment to ethical AI practices. The hackathon not only demonstrated the potential of AI in education but also highlighted the importance of collaboration and diversity in tech,” says one of the Microsoft MVP judges, Mukhammadkarim Tukhtaboev.
Tips for everyone who loves to develop innovative AI solutions
Here are the seven evaluation criteria that were crucial in determining the winning teams. These points are not only essential for this hackathon but also beneficial for anyone involved in developing innovative AI solutions:

Teams had to develop algorithms that could generate coherent and contextually appropriate questions. This required deep machine learning expertise and a strong understanding of natural language processing.
Natural Language Processing (NLP)

The most common way to publish custom jar files as a Maven artifact in Azure DevOps
This is how you can publish your custom jar files as Maven artifacts and use them as dependencies in your projects:
Make sure you have an Azure Artifact feed in Azure DevOps or create one if needed:
The command below will generate a Maven artifact. Please upload the pom.xml and jar file to the Azure DevOps Repo if you don’t have one ready: mvn -B archetype:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=”org.apache.maven.archetypes” -DgroupId=”MyGroup” -DartifactId=”myFirstApp”
From the “Connect to feed” in Azure DevOps, select the Maven, and copy the <repository> information:
Paste <repository> information from the last step, into your pom.xml file twice in <repositories> and <distributionManagement> tags
Create a pipeline in Azure DevOps:
You can also use settings.xml file to authenticate the Azure DevOps Maven feed in your pipeline.
Configure the feed permission in case of access related issues
Select the Packages from your feed in Azure DevOps, and copy the contents of the <dependency> element:
Paste the <dependency> element content copied in the last step, inside the <dependencies> element of your project pom.xml file.
Run “mvn install” from the directory that contains your project pom.xml file.

Microsoft Build opening keynote (May 21, 9-11am PST): Satya Nadella, CEO Microsoft, will be joined by Kevin Scott, CTO, and Rajesh Jha, EVP Experiences and Devices, to talk about how this era of AI will unlock new opportunities, transform how developers work and drive business productivity across industries.
Next generation AI for developers with the Microsoft Cloud (May 22, 8.30-10am PST): Join Scott Guthrie and leaders across Microsoft to learn how you can build secure and responsible AI solutions of the future with the foundation of the Microsoft Cloud. Watch this for exciting AI-related announcements!

Maximize joy, minimize toil with great developer experiences (May 21, 1-1.45pm PST). Reason to watch: Empowering developers is the first step to building great GenAI apps. Join Amanda Silver, CVP Developer Division, as she covers the latest evolution in developer tools and how we collaborate across the entire technology spectrum to build the next generation of intelligent apps.
Multimodel, multimodal, and multiagent innovation with Azure AI (May 21, 2.15-3pm PST). Reason to watch: Multimodal use cases are quickly becoming popular in GenAI applications and Marco Casaliana, VP Products Azure AI, gives the best demos to show what’s possible! Additionally, the session will discuss responsible AI, data privacy, and security and feature customer examples such as Unity Technologies.
Operationalize AI Responsibly with Azure AI Studio (May 21, 3.30-4.15pm PST). Reason to watch: Azure AI Studio is the go-to service on Azure for building generative AI apps. Sarah Bird, CPO at Microsoft for Responsible AI, will discuss in detail how you can take an agile, responsible-by-design approach to building GenAI apps on Azure.
Build and scale modern apps with Azure Kubernetes Service (May 22, 10.30-11.15am PST). Reason to watch: Kubernetes has become the go-to platform for running apps at scale, especially in the cloud and Azure Kubernetes Service now makes it even easier to deploy and run AI apps at scale. ClickHouse will share how they are using AKS and Azure to build ClickHouse Cloud, a hosted version of the world’s fastest and most resource-efficient online analytical column-oriented database management system.
RAG at scale: Production-ready GenAI apps with Azure AI Search (May 22, 10.30-11.15am PST). Reason to watch: If 2023 was the year of GenAI prototypes, 2024 is the year these apps go into production. Developers are increasingly turning to Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to improve the quality of search results for their GenAI apps. In this session Pablo Castro, Distinguished Engineer, will demo how Azure AI Search combines the best RAG capabilities for GenAI apps at any scale, without compromising cost or performance.
Building applications at hyperscale with the latest Azure innovations (May 22, 1-1.45pm PST). Reason to watch: This is a great foundational session on building cloud-native Linux-based scale out applications on Azure infrastructure and will dive into the different VM types and pricing models available to achieve your performance and cost requirements.
Design and build multi-tenant SaaS apps at scale with Azure CosmosDB (May 22, 3.30-4.15pm PST). Reason to watch: Azure CosmosDB is a database built for the era of AI. It features built-in security and compliance, essential for business-critical genAI apps, and is available in many variants including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Apache Cassandra. Real-world examples from innovative ISVs like Kinectify will provide practical insights.
Serverless architectures: Effortless intelligent apps at extreme scale (May 22, 4.45-5.30pm PST). Reason to watch: Serverless application architectures are becoming increasingly popular and Azure Container Apps and Azure Functions make it easy to build and run serverless GenAI apps at scale.

Reason to watch: Learn about how Microsoft for Startups is helping founders around the world build their AI solutions on the Microsoft Cloud. Hear from the founders at Nixtla on how access to AI infrastructure including GPUs paired with cutting edge AI tooling has transformed their businesses.
Disrupt and grow with Azure AI (On Demand). Reason to watch: If you are new to Azure, watch this on-demand session to learn about the full stack of Azure services that help you build, run, and scale your GenAI apps. Winston Weinberg, CEO, and Gabe Pereyra, President and Cofounder at Harvey will talk about their experience in building GenAI solutions for professional services.
