sharepoint online DisableCompanyWideSharingLinks
reposting Igor’s question here as per MSFT’s suggestion :
“How can I disable the ‘Share with entire organization’ option globally for OneDrive and SharePoint in Microsoft 365? I’ve examined the documentation at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/solutions/microsoft-365-limit-sharing?view=o365-worldwide#sharing-with-specific-people and discovered PowerShell commands such as ‘Set-SPOSite -Identity https://contoso.sharepoint.com -DisableCompanyWideSharingLinks Disabled’ for SharePoint sites and ‘Set-SPOSite -Identity https://contoso-my.sharepoint.com/personal/my_alias_contoso_com -DisableCompanyWideSharingLinks Disabled’ for OneDrives. The challenge is executing these commands for each site and user in our environment. Is there a method to apply this globally across the entire organization?”

Pressing Cancel When IKEv2 VPN is Connecting Locks Up Notification Icons
Hello,
I’m getting ready to roll out IKEv2 VPN to my company. We found that if you cancel, right after you push the connect button, it locks up the notification icons in the task bar. On our laptops you can left-click as many times as you want on the network/sound/power icons and settings menu will not pop-up again. You are able to right-click on the icons and go to the various settings, but to get the hovering menu to show again you need to restart Windows Explorer in task manager. I have verified this issue on multiple Dell and Lenovo laptops.

Send copies of team emails and events to team members inboxes doesn’t work
Send copies of team emails and events to team members inboxes will not stay checked.
Admin – Exchange – Groups – Select Group – Settings:
Send copies of team emails and events to team members inboxes is blank, I check it and save. It shows saved. I go back into it, it is unchecked.
I’m sure there is a Powershell solution but I need this working for basic techs who don’t have PS access.
Thanks

I need a way to remind people they have things waiting for them in Teams.
I’m not sure what to do about this situation. Some of the Power Automate workflows I’ve built require a person to review items and fill out forms. Some of them also include assignments in Planner. I’ve an email notification to alert people to check Teams for the messages but people are complaining it’s too hard or they can’t find them. However, when I log into their account I can find the prompt without a problem.
I need some way to bang people over the head that they have things waiting for their input.

Excel Formula No longer working (PC)
I’ve been using a simple formula to track my bank balance for years. Suddenly this simple addition and subtraction formula is no longer working on line 1934. Result is “#VALUE” instead of the calculation.
I thought that I might have exceeded the number of usable lines in a single worksheet so I made a copy and tried deleting all but the last 300 or so lines. Same result. How do I fix this?

Adding additional condition to Cell Formula
I am using the following to convert a value to a negative number from cell (E2) into a new cell (D2) when cell (I2) equals “Discover” and it works fine. But I want to add an exception to not convert to negative into (D2) if another cell (J2) value has(equals) “Payment”. If it does equal “Payment” just Set (D2) to (E2).
For a cell D2 I am using the following with success:
=IF(I2=”Discover”,(E2*(0-1)),E2)
Now I want to add another condition(or exception) to the above: Even if I2 is “Discover” but cell J2 has “Payment” then just set D2 to E2 (even when (I2) is “Discover”
Appreciate any tips, Thank You

Planner completing multiple tasks across the same plan in multiple channels
Hi, we recently started using Microsoft Teams and are very excited to start using Planner with it. As we created a plan, we wanted to be able to use the same plan within a team (the Use an existing plan from this team option) via channels, but what’s happening is when we checked off something completed on one channel within the team it then checks off everything in the other channels as well? We have a lot of repeated tasks that we were hoping we wouldn’t have to recreate within the project.
Help is appreciated in advance 🙂

Microsoft Copilot with commercial data protection
Hello,
We are set up to use the Microsoft Copilot site with commercial data protection and I find that it works great for what I have needed, especially in the Edge side bar. However, someone brought up an interesting use case and I can’t get it to work when using the commercial data protection version. If I upload a picture and then ask a question about that picture, I will get a message that says “It looks like your last message was interrupted”. If I log out of Edge/Copilot and try the standard site without the commercial protection, then it appears to work fine. Does anyone know if there are settings somewhere that need to be changed to allow this?
Thanks,
Eric Krueger

How to create SQL query against Access database?
Simple question from a n00b here. I’ve connected the Access application to a local copy of a database and can see the tables; now I need to make an SQL query against one of the tables.
When I click on “View” in the ribbon, there’s two choices: Datasheet View and Design View.
I’m expecting a third choice, SQL View, but I don’t see that option.
