Capture screenshot function not displaying while executing test case
While executing a test case in Azure DevOps Test Plan/Test Suite I use the Capture screenshot function for EOT. The captured images do not appear for me while executing, but I can see them when I view the run results. A co-worker is able to view the screenshots while executing a test case and in the run results.
Has anyone else run into this issue?

Block USB with Intune
We have configured attack surface reduction rule to block USB.
It works on one device but not the others therefore I assume no issue with the policy, Main config is as following(Removable Disk Deny Write Access: enabled), The rest is pretty much not configured.
-I am just wondering what events in event viewer could be checked?
-What could be a cause for the issue?
-Any known causes/issues?

Urgent: Azure Information Protection Premium P2 unavailable
Dear community,
I hope you are doing great!
We are an Indirect Provider in CSP, and recently one of the legacy subscriptions has been auto-migrated to NCE. The legacy subscription was for “Azure Information Protection Premium P2” licenses, which is now the same licenses but in New Commerce Experience.
However, we are not able to find the Azure Information Protection Premium P2 NCE product to any of the available June pricelists or to any previous one. The only product we can find in NCE pricelists is for the “Charity” segment and not the “Commercial” one.
Could you please help us on this as we have to make a decision in order not to miss the cancellation window on Thursday? If you have any available info on SKU ID, the Pricelist we may find the product or if it has been renamed, kindly share it with us!
Thank you so much in advance!
Best,
Nick

Handling Hundreds of Open orphaned Alerts in Microsoft Defender for Cloud
Hello Community,
I have several hundred open alerts generated by Microsoft Defender for Cloud that haven’t been addressed. According to the documentation, it’s essential to review and handle these alerts to ensure the Machine Learning algorithm adapts to our environment. Should I process each alert individually, which is challenging due to the historical context and missing logs, or use a script to clean them up manually? How would you approach this situation?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Repetative references to Sheets
HI All
I am setting up a spreadsheet, where i have separate sheets for each Month and a summary sheet, where I want to pull in specific data from each of the month sheets.
I want specific cells in the summery sheet to reference specficic cells in the ‘month’ sheets.
For each month in the summery sheet, i want to reference about 10 different cells in the month sheets.
At the moment i am doing this with the simple formula =’24 April’!D2. etc.
However, every time i add a month sheet, and therefore row in the summery sheet, i have to ammend the reference in each of the 10 cells.
Is there a way that i can make this more efficient, i.e. only changing the ’24 April’ reference in one place rather than 10?
I hope that makes sense, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reference user in task comment and task Note
Hello,
Is there a syntax to referebnce a user for action in a task?
Ex. : “Task A” is assigner to user Tom, but Tom wants to write “@JohnDoe: can you please tell me …” without assigning the task to JohnDoe ? The idea is that JohnDoe is highlighted in blue so the reference is easily visible, and maybe even has a notification ?
Functionality quite a standard nowadays 😉 (present in Outlook, Trello…).
Cheers,
Pierre

Please Continue Supporting Private Link for Azure Function origins in Azure Front Door Premium
We recently opened a support case because we are no longer able to enable private link using the Azure Font Door User Interface in the Azure Portal to Azure Function origins that reside in our ILB Application Service Environment (ASE) V3 within an Isolated V2 Azure App Service plan. We need this feature enabled again, but we received the following response regarding this issue.
“We just received update on the issue from product level team, actually the private link is not supported for function app, it used to be worked by accident. So they started removing it now, they blocked it on portal, further they will be doing it for CLI/PowerShell as well. The previous function apps for which the private link is enabled and working fine will be disassociated at any time. Unfortunately, they suggested users to not go with private link for function apps anymore.”
Private link to Azure Functions apps running an Isolated V2 Azure App Service plan is supported by Azure Front door; the feature should continue to be supported and subject to the Azure Front Door SLA. It is possible to create Private Links from Azure Front Door to Azure Functions origins that reside in our ILB ASE V3 within an Isolated V2 Azure App Service plan. We have created Private Links from Azure Font Door to our Production Azure Functions, and they have been connected since 2022. The Azure Front Door documentation references that the product supports Private Link for both Azure App Service and Azure Function origins.
1. We were previously able to enable private link from Azure Front Door, using the User Interface in the Azure Portal, to Azure functions origins that reside in our ILB Application Service Environment (ASE) V3 within an Isolated V2 Azure App Service plan. The Azure Front Door documentation contains language that supports that Azure Front Door supports Private link for Azure App Service and Azure Functions origins.
Stated in the doc “Secure traffic to Azure Front Door origins.”
“Private Link origins
When you use the premium SKU of Front Door, you can use Private Link to send traffic to your origin. Learn more about Private Link origins.
You should configure your origin to disallow traffic that doesn’t come through Private Link. The way that you restrict traffic depends on the type of Private Link origin you use:
Azure App Service and Azure Functions automatically disable access through public internet endpoints when you use Private Link. For more information, see Using Private Endpoints for Azure Web App.”

3. We are now unable to enable private link using the Azure Font Door User Interface in the Azure Portal to Azure functions origins that reside in our ILB ASE V3 within an Isolated V2 Azure App Service plan. We need this feature enabled again.
4. We are still able to enable private link to Azure function origins that reside in our ILB ASE V3 within an Isolated V2 Azure App Service plan with the Azure CLI.
I recently discovered the Note was added to the azure-docs on April 25th, 2024, which is after we opened our support incident: https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs/commit/6d7d40b4a9c0b1e843aa81a121ecb83468043803 The reference to Functions not being a supported feature is false and I request that is removed.

Teams – calling via phone number
I would like to create the ability in Teams for users to call from one phone number.
Here’s what I mean.
We have an entrance to a phone number – the ramp opens after calling its number, only 1 phone number is available (such are the rules), and we need an entrance for 3 people.
The idea is to assign these three people in Teams one common phone number and to call the ramp through Teams.
I have already prepared an application in PowerApps with a button that will initiate this connection. I only have the backend left.
Is it possible to configure Teams to create team X, whose members will call from this one assigned phone number? What does the whole procedure of creating such a solution look like?

May 2024 Recap: Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server
Hello Azure Community!
Following an exciting Microsoft BUILD 2024 event, May has been filled with important updates and breakthroughs for Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server. Let’s dive into the key features that were announced during BUILD, highlighting the innovations that are shaping the future of your databases.
Highlights of the Month
General Availability of the azure_ai extension
Preview of azure_local_ai extension
Preview of Automated Index Tuning
General Availability of IOPS scaling
New Azure Advisor recommendations
General Availability of the azure_ai extension
We are excited to announce the general availability of the azure_ai extension. The azure_ai extension allows developers to seamlessly integrate Azure AI services from within their database using SQL queries including:
Generation of embeddings from OpenAI
Invoking real-time scoring with ML inference endpoints of custom or pre-trained or fine-tuned models.
Sentiment analysis, summarization and other Azure AI language services
Real-time text translation
In conjunction with vector data this simplifies building Gen AI applications on Azure Database for PostgreSQL. For more information, refer Gen AI applications simplified with azure_ai extension on postgres (microsoft.com).
Preview of azure_local_ai extension
We are excited to announce the public preview release of azure_local_ai, a new extension for Azure Database for PostgreSQL that enables you to create text embeddings from a model deployed within the same VM as your PostgreSQL database.
Vector embeddings enable AI models to better understand relationships and similarities between data, which is key for intelligent apps. Azure Database for PostgreSQL is proud to be the industry’s that has in-database embedding generation with a text embedding model deployed within the PostgreSQL boundary. Vectors can be generated right within the database, thus offering:
Single-digit millisecond latency.
Predictable costs.
Confidence that data will remain compliant for confidential workloads.
For more information, refer Generate vector embeddings with azure_local_ai.
Preview of Automated Index Tuning
We are excited to announce the preview of index tuning feature. Whether you are a Database Administrators or a Database Developers, this will save you time and effort in tuning the indexes of your databases to improve the performance of your workloads, which will typically also turn into a reduction of your billing costs.
Begin by reading the blog post we’ve published with an end-to-end case: Unleash the power of automated index tuning.
General Availability of IOPS Scaling
We’ve launched the general availability of IOPS Scaling for Azure Database for PostgreSQL. This powerful feature allows you to dynamically adjust your IOPS to meet your workload demands, ensuring optimal performance for high-demand operations such as migrations or large data loads. It also enables cost savings during times of decreased demand by allowing you to scale down. With IOPS Scaling, you gain the flexibility to fine-tune performance and manage costs without the need for over-provisioning resources. You can start using IOPS Scaling today through the Azure portal to enhance the performance and efficiency of your database.
For more details, visit our documentation on IOPS scaling.
Improvements with CAST
The latest updates to Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server have significantly enhanced the CAST function, which is vital for converting data types within SQL queries. These improvements address previous limitations with non-binary-coercible casts, allowing for more complex data transformations and easing the migration of applications to the cloud. The introduction of options such as `WITH IN OUT` and `WITH FUNCTION` expands CAST’s functionality, making it easier to manage data integrity during conversions and migrations.
For more information, refer CAST function improvements documentation.
New Azure Advisor recommendations
New Azure Advisor recommendations have been created for Azure Database for PostgreSQL flexible server, and existing recommendations have been improved to provide more actionable guidance. Azure Advisor is a cloud assistant that analyzes your configuration and usage telemetry to make personalized recommendations to help improve performance, reliability, security, and cost effectiveness. You can find these recommendations in the Advisor dashboard section of the Azure Portal.
New recommendations include checks for long running, and orphaned prepared transactions, crossing the 1 billion transaction usage limit on a server to avoid potential wraparound scenarios, and exceeding the 80% bloat ratio for a server. Find out more here: Azure Advisor for Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server.
Reflecting on BUILD 2024 announcements
At Microsoft BUILD 2024, significant advancements were announced for Azure PostgreSQL and AI applications. These updates aim to empower developers to innovate more freely with AI, emphasizing the integration of AI capabilities directly within databases for more dynamic application development. Key highlights include the general availability of the Azure AI extension for PostgreSQL, enabling direct connections to Azure Open AI models, and the introduction of local embedding generation within the database server for low-latency, secure AI operations. Mouse pointer problem in design view
This began a few days ago.
When I’m working in design view (form or report), after a few minutes the mouse pointer in design view no longer changes: I’m stuck with the default arrow pointer. This means that, although I can click/select controls, I can no longer resize controls or the object.
I can’t even use the horizontal splitter in design view (although the vertical splitter dividing the navigation pane from the design pane still works).
Simply closing the object and re-opening it doesn’t fix it (and any further objects opened in design view are similarly afflicted). The only way I’ve found of fixing it is to close Access and re-open – until it happens again!
Help! This is driving me nuts!

Slow sharepoint
Hi
We are a part of a company with branch all over the world.
I am placed in Europe, and our sharepoint server are placed on east coast US, with a time difference on 6 hours.
When we reach 1400 local time, our sharepoint get extremely slow, this is 0800 us time when US starts using sharepoint.
I think we overload our server, with to many users?
How is rules with sharepoint is it local company server, or provided by Microsoft?
If local, how is the licens with microsoft, do we pay pr user og GB?
Do different office have different priority, lets says US get first right, and Europe is second?
Is there a way to measure if we hit the max?
Did any one had the same experience?
It is no help to ask our IT department, they just say everything is okay.
Regards
Tony

** HELP ** Need to add a value based on the value of a drop down list
Hi All,
you wrote this formula for me, which works a treat 🙂 so thank you!
=LET(
lookupValue, Concatinator!B2,
lookupRange, Catalogue!G2:N2,
colIndex, MATCH(lookupValue, lookupRange, 0),
matchedColumn, INDEX(Catalogue!G3:N1000, , colIndex),
filteredData, FILTER(
Catalogue!D3:D1000 & ” ” & Catalogue!F3:F1000 & ” ” & Catalogue!E3:E1000,
(Catalogue!C3:C1000 = Sheet3!A2) * ((matchedColumn = “Y”) + (matchedColumn = “YF”) + (matchedColumn = “YA”)),
“”
),
TEXTJOIN(“; “, TRUE, filteredData)
)
However, I have one further ask. I need another value to be added when its being concatenated. So, if the value in Cell B2 on the Concatinator tab is equal to lets say “XXX DACH” then i want it to search in Column J on the Catalogue Tab and if a “YF” is present then i want it to add “DE” after Column E and the same if “XXX Italy” has been selected. However, if any other value is selected then it should just work as it currently does.
