How to do Quickbooks administrator permissions needed windows 11?
Troubleshooting Solutions: Quickbooks administrator permissions needed windows 11
Compatibility Mode: Windows 11 might have compatibility issues with certain versions of QuickBooks. Try running QuickBooks in compatibility mode for Windows 10. Right-click the QuickBooks shortcut, select “Properties,” go to the “Compatibility” tab, and check “Run this program in compatibility mode for” then select Windows 10.Update QuickBooks and Windows: Ensure both QuickBooks and Windows 11 are up-to-date. Updates often include fixes for compatibility issues and bugs that may affect administrator permissions. Check for QuickBooks updates within the application and Windows updates in the Settings menu.Check User Account Control (UAC) Settings: User Account Control settings in Windows 11 might be blocking QuickBooks from accessing certain features. Adjust UAC settings to allow QuickBooks full access. Go to Settings > System > Security & privacy > User Account Control settings, and lower the slider to the “Never notify” position.Run QuickBooks as Administrator: Running QuickBooks with elevated privileges can sometimes resolve permission-related issues on Windows 11. Right-click the QuickBooks shortcut or executable file, and select “Run as administrator” to grant QuickBooks the necessary permissions.Verify User Permissions: Double-check your user account settings in QuickBooks to ensure that your account has been assigned the administrator role. Navigate to the “Company” menu, select “Users,” and review your user settings. Make sure your account has full administrator permissions.Firewall and Antivirus Settings: Your firewall or antivirus software might be blocking QuickBooks processes, causing permission issues. Review firewall and antivirus settings to ensure that QuickBooks is whitelisted or allowed to run without restrictions.Create a New User Profile: Create a new user profile on Windows 11 and try running QuickBooks from that profile. Sometimes, user profile corruption can lead to permission problems. If QuickBooks works fine in the new profile, consider migrating your data and settings to that profile permanently.Contact QuickBooks Support: If the issue persists, reach out to QuickBooks support for further assistance. They can provide specialized troubleshooting steps or address any underlying technical issues specific to Windows 11 that may be affecting your permissions.
By following these troubleshooting steps tailored to Windows 11, you should be able to resolve the QuickBooks administrator permissions issue and regain full access to the necessary features and functions.

Availability options issue
Hi, I’m using MS Booking to create timeslots for induction sessions for students. I can’t seem to block out lunchtime, even though I’ve defined custom availability hours of 9am-1pm and 2pm-5pm.
I’d swear this was working a couple of weeks ago when I set the dates.
I’ve got General Availability set to none, and Time Increments set to 30mins.
Any advice is greatly appreciated,

Restrictions in between the session – Azure Student Code – AZ 400 Trainings
We are reaching out to inquire whether any recent restrictions have been imposed on the utilization of Azure passcodes. We have encountered significant difficulties accessing the Azure student passcodes, particularly during AZ 400 training sessions over the past few months.
During these training sessions, participants consistently encounter the following error:
{
“status”: “Failed”,
“error”: {
“code”: “Forbidden”,
“message”: “The subscription ‘aacb3810-b205-4b2c-8405-09a8ba2848f2’ is not allowed to create or update the serverfarm.”,

Additionally, we have observed that the Free tier is displaying as 0, despite deleting all VMs and services. We are unable to create any new services, including those under the Free tier, either via the Bicep template or directly through the portal. This issue persists across multiple regions.
This error has become a recurring obstacle during our training sessions, and it is increasingly challenging to reassure our students. It appears that Microsoft is consistently blocking these actions, and we urgently require resolution and clarification on this matter.
We appreciate your immediate attention to this issue and request a prompt response.

Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) not available on Microsoft 365
On March 10, 2024, in Vancouver, B.C. we entered Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) UTC-7:00. In my Microsoft 365 settings, my timezone was set to UTC-8:00 Pacific Time (US & Canada). I tried to manually change it to the correct option, but no option for Pacific Time UTC-7:00 was available in the dropdown menu. I tried a few different things, including changing to an entirely different timezone so as to try changing it back to Pacific Time, but I simply do not see the correct option.
I discovered this issue because I am having trouble getting my personal booking page on Microsoft Bookings to show the correct available times. This may be an unrelated issue, but I wanted to get my global timezone fixed first.

How do I download music from YouTube to computer mp3 format?
I’m looking to download music from YouTube directly onto my computer in MP3 format, but I’m not sure how to go about it. I’ve seen several methods online, but I’m having trouble figuring out which ones are reliable and safe to use without violating any terms of service. Could anyone recommend a straightforward and legal way to convert YouTube videos to MP3 files? Any advice on software or online tools that facilitate this while ensuring good audio quality would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Copilot for Microsoft 365 System prompt
Hey everyone!
Mary David Pasch mentioned Copilot for M365 system prompt in Microsoft Mechanics Youtube video.
System prompt in the video is something like:
< I im_start I >system [system] (#instructions) ## Where to find information – You can respond using retrieved information from search using the Microsoft Graph …## Your response style and tone- Your responses should be informative, professional and logical – Your responses positive, polite and engaging## How to respond with gathered information – You can leverage search result information from multiple searches to respond ## Citing information used to respond – You should provide a citation with the entity name hyperlinked to the source ## Safety and responsibility – You should not respond in a way that is harmful < I im_end I >
The system prompt presented instructs to be professional informative, logical etc.
I have two questions about this:
Is the system prompt presented anywhere near the real one Copilot for M365 ?
If yesFrom the prompting point of view, is the context and expectations easier for Copilot to process without additional and overlapping prompting (for example “act like student and be unformal”) ?
I ask this because I see Copilot sometimes “chocking” if there is too much instructions in one prompt. I usually prompt more conversational way.
And of course sometimes I need specific “role” outputs , but Im thinkin should I just trust the system prompt generally.
Microsofts “prompting guide” suggests that be as specific as possible and prompt should include goal, context etc.
So is the LLM so advanced that I dont have to waste my thoughts to this? 🙂
I hope I was clear enough, Thanks for the answers in advance!

Edge consuming a lot of CPU after patch 124.0.2478.51
Good day,
I run a build server that is running a BVT test pack for our internal system. It runs test in parallel in order to get through all the test cases. The tech stack is DevOps self hosted agents, nunit + Selenium and C# .net Core
After Edge has updated to version 124.0.2478.51 (18 April) the CPU usage has changed from 5-7% to +20% until the server crashes. If I rollback the the previous version everything works as expected.
Is anybody else experiencing this?

A workbook for Logic App (standard) run history and resubmitting multiple runs.
After we published a sample workbook for organizing the Logic Apps events emitted to Application Insight in this blog post, we received feedback from multiple customers to have the ability to select and resubmit multiple runs from this workbook.
We worked with the Azure Monitor team to have the ability to select multiple rows and perform an ARM action iteratively on the selected rows. The Azure Monitor team recently released this feature and with that we are publishing a new sample workbook that enables you to select multiple runs for resubmission.
Please note that this workbook only works with Application Insight V2 integration and enabling V2 integration requires you updating the host.json file as described here.
Deploying Workbook Template.
The sample template is published here, and we can deploy this workbook template from the azure portal following the instruction from this blog post.
Mapping Logic App to Workbook
Once deployed, you can follow the steps described in the previous blogpost to associate your application insight and the logic app to the workbook template.
Viewing a Run using monitoring view
You can click on the view link to bring-up your familiar workflow monitoring view
And you can use the Resubmit link to resubmit a single run.
Resubmitting Multiple Runs
When you select multiple runs, you would see the new button named “Resubmit Selected Runs” at the bottom of the runs table and you can use this to resubmit all selected runs.
This will bring-up the following context view that you can use to verify the run ids before they are resubmitted.

Export Endpoint DLP Policies
Hi All,
I want to manage my DLP policies as code. To start I would like to capture my current configuration. I am looking for a way to export Endpoint DLP policies. Using PowerShell or Microsoft365DCM I can export basic policies, but missing Endpoint specific settings. For example, with PowerShell (Get-DLPComplianceRule | Select-Object -ExpandProperty EndpointDlpRestrictions) I can get some of the main settings such as print, but it does not expand any network locations or printer groups.
Any other ways to get a current configuration?
Many thanks
Pieter

How to download TikTok video without watermark?
I’m looking for some help with downloading TikTok videos without the watermark. I’ve tried a few methods I found online, but they either don’t work or they end up downloading the video with the TikTok watermark still visible. I need these videos for a project where I’m compiling various clips and the watermark is quite intrusive in this context. Can anyone recommend a reliable tool or method that effectively download TikTok videos without watermark during the download process? Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Path to Production Azure OpenAI Instances – PowerSchool Power Buddy
Introduction:
In the rapidly evolving world of education technology, EdTech customers are increasingly turning to generative AI platforms to revolutionize the way they approach course content. Leveraging the power of Azure OpenAI models, these innovative platforms are transforming personalized content generation, course design, development, and even grading assessments. PowerSchool is a leading Education Technology provider of cloud-based K-12 software, with its award-winning software solutions.
Recognizing the transformative potential of Generative AI in education, PowerSchool’s New Solutions division has been dedicatedly exploring avenues to harness the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) to drive positive change. The Azure OpenAI Service, with its advanced AI models such as GPT-4 Turbo, GPT-4, and Vision, has become a cornerstone for these EdTech initiatives. Power School has been rigorously testing these models in various use cases, discovering the immense value they bring. The performance of the platform, the ability to scale API requests across different regions, the security of the end-to-end platform, and compliance with enterprise-wide organizational standards are just a few of the benefits that have been recognized.
Transitioning from proof of concept and pilot phases to full-scale production, Power School is now faced with the task of monitoring, scaling, and optimizing AI applications and cost.
Power Buddy Overview:
PowerBuddy is PowerSchool’s AI assistant, designed to meet the diverse needs of students, families, teachers, and administrators. Its goal is to provide personalized insights, foster engagement, and create a supportive environment throughout the educational journey. In the realm of assessment, Performance Matters PowerBuddy excels by helping educators create tailored assessments aligned with grade levels, standards, and topics. Integrated seamlessly into the Performance Matters platform, it generates questions and passages efficiently. Additionally, PowerBuddy’s conversational chatbot feature assists students with learning assignments. With its adaptability and support for all stakeholders, PowerBuddy enriches the educational experience for everyone involved.
Path to Production
As PowerSchool’s AI applications gain traction across school districts in the US, ensuring observability has emerged as a crucial component integrated into the solution rather than a mere monitoring mechanism. During our initial pilot phases, we identified key observability properties essential for understanding the internal state of our AI systems, including the following metrics.
Latency
Successful calls/Error rate
Processed Inference tokens
Completion Tokens
Total API Requests
We need comprehensive monitoring solutions to proactively monitor and optimize and scale the resources before moving to production.
To monitor and optimize Azure OpenAI instances, PowerSchool utilizes Azure Monitor, a comprehensive solution for collecting and analyzing telemetry data. Azure Workbooks are built on Azure Monitor to create custom dashboards and reports, while Azure Managed Grafana enhances visualization with dynamic dashboards. Azure Log Analytics Workspace centralizes log data collection and analysis, providing deeper insights to refine metrics and improve monitoring. The following diagram shows how we can monitor different tools for different use cases.
The initial method involved utilizing Azure Monitor – Metrics and Alerts, offering a straightforward means to monitor and optimize Azure Open AI instances, particularly in single-instance deployments where basic metrics viewing, and simple alert setup are paramount. The accompanying diagram illustrates the process of monitoring Azure Open AI instances using Azure Monitor.
In scenarios involving multiple Azure Open AI instances spread across diverse regions and models (as exemplified by PowerBuddy), a more sophisticated monitoring capability proved necessary. This advanced functionality should seamlessly visualize data from various Azure Open AI instances and formats, highlighting the relevance of the subsequent approach – Azure Workbooks. These workbooks furnish dashboards showcasing total OpenAI requests within specific regions, latency across multiple instances, total tokens across resources etc. configurable to custom schedules.
Using Azure Workbooks provides a scalable platform to monitor and optimize Azure Open AI instances for production, especially beneficial for large-scale deployments requiring data combination and visualization from multiple sources and formats. The following diagram shows the total processed inferenced tokens across two different regions.
In cases where Azure Open AI instances are deployed in a multi-cloud environment, necessitating resource monitoring across different cloud vendors, a more comprehensive monitoring capability is essential.
The third approach is to use Azure Grafana Monitoring and Reporting. Grafana supports data sources from other cloud providers, enabling the monitoring and optimization of Azure Open AI instances in a multi-cloud environment. This provides a comprehensive view of resources across various cloud environments as would be needed in a company like PowerSchool which uses a multi cloud infrastructure. Additionally, dashboards can be exported and shared for collaborative monitoring and optimization efforts. The following dashboards show the total alerts, warnings, severity, and conditions.
In leveraging Azure Log Analytics Workspace for monitoring and enhancing Azure Open AI instances, a centralized and scalable solution emerges. This workspace facilitates the collection and analysis of log data from Azure Open AI instances and other associated resources. Empowered by the Kusto Query Language (KQL), users can efficiently query and manipulate log data, crafting bespoke insights and solutions. Dashboards within the workspace display vital metrics like total processed inference tokens over the past 120 days, employing dynamic KSQL queries for real-time analysis.
To address this challenge, we collaborated with the Microsoft Global Black Belt team to develop comprehensive monitoring solutions such as Azure workbooks comprising dashboards and insights for each metric outlined in our observability manifesto across multiple OpenAI instances. Additionally, we fine-tuned our alerting thresholds, switching between dynamic and static thresholds based on traffic patterns, alert frequency, and specific use cases. Here is the sample dashboard that we have developed to measure the performance of the AI Apps distributed across different instances.
As our understanding of usage patterns across products evolves, we are committed to continuously enhancing our observability and monitoring processes within Azure Open AI. One key recommendation is to iteratively monitor traffic, usage, and patterns across products, updating dashboards and alerts to deliver maximum value. Our experience at PowerSchool underscores the importance of continuous improvement to meet evolving needs in education technology.
Conclusion:
PowerSchool is leveraging Azure OpenAI models to transform education through generative AI, enhancing course content, design, and assessments. To monitor and optimize Azure OpenAI instances, PowerSchool uses Azure Monitor, Workbooks, Managed Grafana, and Log Analytics Workspace for comprehensive telemetry data analysis and visualization. Collaborating with Microsoft’s Global Black Belt team, PowerSchool develops monitoring solutions for scaling AI applications in production, emphasizing continuous improvement and iterative monitoring for enhanced observability in their AI applications.

Issue regarding contents not moving with scroll bar in Word documents or Excel spreadsheets
Hi,
I’m currently trying to troubleshoot an issue for a customer of mine, where the contents of his Word documents or Excel spreadsheets don’t followmove along when moving the scoll bar. It just shows the page number, but the documentspreadsheet contents don’t move with it. The issue happens for other users on the PC and also in safe mode for WordExcel.
The PC is running Windows 10 and Office 365.
Things I’ve tried:
UninstallRe-install of Office 365
Checked for ‘Disable hardware acceleration’ but the setting doesn’t exist anymore in new versions.
Updated Nvidia graphics driver.
Checked to ensure that scroll lock isn’t turn on.
Rebooted PC.
Any ideas or assitance from anyone regarding the issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
