Excel with makros is not working on 365 Office
Dear experts,
I prepared Excel with makros for my customer 10 years ago. He needs some changes, but now it didn´t work anymore. Is there any possibility what to do? Like signature, that macros are ok. Or any other way how it could work online?
Thanks a lot
Have a nice day

App Designer DropDown Menu cannot select the first item
I have inserted a DropDown Menu (TrialsListDropDown) in my GUI that I am creating with the App designer.
It is initialized in the startupFCN function as follows:
app.TrialsListDropDown.Items = cellstr(strings(5,1));
It is populated when the user selects the path of the file containing the strings to display as follows:
app.TrialsListDropDown.Value = "";
app.TrialsListDropDown.Items = app.CellTrialNames;
app.TrialsListDropDown.ItemsData = app.CellTrialNames;
The strings are correctly displayed in the DropDown Menu.
The selection of a DropDown item is caried out through a callback as follows:
% Value changed function: TrialsListDropDown
function TrialsListDropDownValueChanged(app, event)
value = app.TrialsListDropDown.Value;
app.SelectedTrial = app.TrialsListDropDown.Value;
disp(app.SelectedTrial) % DEBUG PURPOSE
end
So far the above callback contains just the code to extract the selected item and display it.
My problem is that the first DropMenu item cannot be selected. I have to select one of the other items and then go back to the first one.
I understand the callback is only triggered upon Value changed. I deduce the first listed item is by default the selected item.
How can I change this behaviour so that the user can select also the first item right away after the DropDown Menu is populated?
Thank you so much.

Matlab ODE Solvers – Paramater Question
Greetings,
I working with a system of differential equations that model amount of components as a reaction proceeds. I want to pass a variable parameter through one of matlab’s ode solvers (probably 45/15). This is in addition to time bounds, so it would be like ode45(function, times, [X1(0),X2(0),…X5(0)],… ). I want to find λ given something like X1(final) = 0.35. How to include this information?
Thank you (:Greetings,

Teams message extension on outlook
Hi,
We have a message extension on MS Teams that is also showing on outlook. Is there a way to make it Teams only?
on the provisioning on the teamsapp.yml we had this:
# Extend your Teams app to Outlook and the Microsoft 365 app
– uses: teamsApp/extendToM365
with:
# Relative path to the build app package.
appPackagePath: ./appPackage/build/appPackage.${{TEAMSFX_ENV}}.zip
# Write the information of created resources into environment file for
# the specified environment variable(s).
writeToEnvironmentFile:
titleId: M365_TITLE_ID
appId: M365_APP_ID
This was setting a channel on the Azure Bot Service for Microsoft 365. We removed this and don’t have a M365 channel setup anymore, but the message extension is still appearing on outlook, is there another configuration to disable that?

Automatically update data in another workbook
Please for your help!
I have two worksheets, one is the source and the second one is the destination. In the source workbook I have a list of project names. The project names are listed in column A . Adjacent to column A, are in columns the months, where the employees will manually add the percentage of hours they worked for each project for that month.
I managed with power query to link the data in the destination file so when I add a new project in the source workbook automatically is added in the correct row of the column A in the destination workbook. However, when a new project is added in the destination workbook, creates only a cell and not the whole row. I do not want to link the whole table (this would have added a new row), I want the new row to be empty and ready to be filled by a user.
How can I automatically create a new row with filled the column A and empty the rest columns of the row when a new project is added in the source workbook?
Many thanks in advance!

Media Creation Tool Stops without completion
I need to refresh Win installation. Windows update will not run and I have read all I could find and preformed all steps but it still will not run and there are other problems. When I run Media Installation Tool from a stick or a CD I get message that installation was stopped in the Safe OS phase. One error is 0x800704. StetupDiag also will not run so I cannot see what driver may be interfering. Read everything on the subject and followed all steps I could find. I also got error 0xc1900101 when install stopped in Safe phase of media installation. I have been working on this for two weeks and simply cannot make any progress. Windows update still will not run. If anyone can help me I would be so very grateful

Show column in one channel, hide in others
I have added a new column in one channel. It automatically gets displayed in all other channels within my organisation.
How do I display a specific column in one channel, but hide it in all other channels?
Some type of setting which specifies whether a column is visible in all channels or not, by default. If that is un-selected, then I should be able to individually control in which channel is the said column visible.
Does this already exist?

ASRs via Intune not working (only on Windows 11 Clients)
We have been using some ASR rules in our company for a longer period of time. We have set these up via Intune.
Since we have been using Windows 11, we have had some problems with a few ASR rules.
one Example:
Block all Office applications from creating child processes does not work under Windows 11.
Now I have seen under the Security Recommendations that Intune is probably only possible for Windows 10.
Has anyone had similar experiences? And do I now have to completely rebuild my policies?
I would be very grateful for any input.

How to draw Domino tiles in a figure?
Hi everyone,
I’m here to ask you if anyone knows, how to draw a bunch of domino tiles in a figure. I already generated a figure with the pixels black, but know I want to draw domino tiles into this figure.
And basically I want a figure something like this: (the color os the domino tiles can be just one).
Thanks,
