Azure Data Factory and Trace Telemetry
All,
We have several pipelines that populate the RAW Zone from source systems and populate the Harmonized and Curated Zones using Azure Data Factory.
I can see Metrics and Logs but I’m not seeing link to the Trace telemetry. Do I have to use another tool?
Thanks,
grajee

How is Azure cloud service better than other cloud service platforms?
The cloud computing landscape is vast, but for businesses entrenched in the Microsoft ecosystem, Azure isn’t just a cloud platform – it’s a strategic extension of their digital foundation. Here’s why forward-thinking Microsoft leaders are choosing Azure to propel their cloud journey.
Beyond Infrastructure: A Symphony of Microsoft Services
Azure transcends mere cloud infrastructure. It seamlessly integrates with the Microsoft tools you already rely on, like Office 365 and Active Directory. This fosters a unified experience – a single sign-on for a smoother workflow and effortless data flow between your on-premises environment and the cloud.
Hybrid Harmony: A Bridge Between Two Worlds
Migrating to the cloud doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing proposition. Azure’s strength lies in its exceptional hybrid cloud capabilities. You can leverage your existing on-premises infrastructure while seamlessly integrating with Azure’s scalable cloud resources. This creates a hybrid haven, offering flexibility and control as you migrate to the cloud at your own pace.
Global Reach, Local Impact: Powering Users Everywhere
Microsoft’s global network of data centers forms the backbone of Azure. This translates to unmatched global reach with high availability, minimizing downtime, and low latency for exceptional responsiveness – ensuring an optimal user experience regardless of location.
Empowering Developers: Speak the Language of Innovation
For Microsoft developers, Azure is a native tongue. The platform’s comprehensive suite of developer tools and services feels inherently familiar. This fosters a streamlined development process, allowing you to build and deploy cutting-edge web apps, mobile apps, and other cloud-based solutions using your existing Microsoft skillset.
Specialized Solutions: Azure Goes Beyond the Basics
While Azure excels in core cloud services, it caters to the specific needs of Microsoft users. It offers industry-leading solutions for data analytics, empowering you to unlock deeper insights from your data. For game developers, Azure PlayFab provides a robust toolkit to bring your creations to life. The Internet of Things (IoT) realm is also well-supported by Azure, allowing you to seamlessly integrate and manage your connected devices.
The Choice is Yours: A Thoughtful Approach to Cloud
Every business has a unique digital landscape. While Azure offers undeniable advantages within the Microsoft ecosystem, a thoughtful evaluation comparing cloud platforms is paramount. However, for those seeking a cloud solution that integrates seamlessly, empowers developers, and offers a future-proof path within the Microsoft world, Azure stands as a compelling thought leader’s choice.

training data model from SQL server text columns
I want to create a Q & A based on the data we have already collected while serving our clients (people with disabilities). There is a text field where they present their issue. There is another text field where we record the service we provided and some of the possible solutions. There are other selection type/lookup fields that can help us categorize/tag the problem/solution text.
How can I train Azure AI service so that it can provide the most likely solution based on any new service requests received from our clients? As you can tell, I am fairly new to the AI world. Therefore I’m open to any new ideas/technologies that can help achieve this objective. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

Request: Manage Apple Vision Pro with Intune MDM
Hi,
At our company, some teams are working with Apple Vision Pro because they are hoping to find new technical solutions for the business. We would also like to include Apple Vision Pro in the management of our other mobile devices via Intune MDM.
Since Apple has also offered an MDM interface for Apple Vision Pro with the visionOS 1.1 update, the glasses could in principle also be managed by an MDM, but the MDM must also support the glasses.
Hence my question: When will this be possible via Intune MDM? As a company, we recently switched to Intune MDM with over 110,000 devices (both mobile devices and fat clients) and we are confident that Microsoft will also support new technical products (such as the Apple Vision Pro).

Transposing Absolute References
I would like to drag a sum down a column, essentially creating field sums for a large number of records. Once dragged down, I want to paste-special transpose. The final result should be a row of sums, but the sums should row sums from above. I could turn all the sums into absolute references first, but that is tedious. Somehow, I would like to highlight multiple cells and ask Excel to turn them all into absolutely references at the same time. Can this be done?

Matlab Home. Possible to get the coders?
Hi Guys,
I have tried contacting sales but it looks like they don’t answer questions about Student or Home edition!
I am looking to get MatLab as a home user in order to learn MatLab/Simulink.
I am not doing a course at an Educational establishment but rather studying at home in my own time.
I’m interested in the following:
MatLab, Simulink, Audio System Toolbox, Signal Processing Toolbox, DSP System Toolbox, MatLab Coder and Simulink Coder
The problem is I cannot seem to add MatLab Coder and Simulink Coder to the order, they are missing in the Home edition although they are there in the student edition.
Is it not possible for me to get the Coders?
Cheers

passing variable from matlab to python using pyrunfile
Hi all,
I’ve been looking to find an answer for the following question;
I have a variable in my workspace that I need to use in a python script, which for some reason is more challenging in than expected. I have been looking around the Mathlab documentation which unfortunately has not been helpfull for me.
Any help to solve this would be greatly appreciated!
Sample code which I simplified for this message.
% Matlab: This is the line that calls function.py using var01, var02 and var03.
apply_cnn_command = pyrunfile ("function.py ‘" + var01 + var02 + var03+"’")

I’ve been looking to find an answer for the following question;
I have a variable in my workspace that I need to use in a python script, which for some reason is more challenging in than expected. I have been looking around the Mathlab documentation which unfortunately has not been helpfull for me.
Any help to solve this would be greatly appreciated!
Sample code which I simplified for this message.
% Matlab: This is the line that calls function.py using var01, var02 and var03.
apply_cnn_command = pyrunfile ("function.py ‘" + var01 + var02 + var03+"’")
% In Python I am using the current code:
import sys
import os
import matlab.engine
eng= matlab.engine.start_matlab()
varpy01 = eng.workspace[var01]
% The error message: "Python Error: NameError: name var01 is not defined. pyrunfile, syntax, workspace variables MATLAB Answers — New Questions
Problem with converted TIFF image
I converted a png to tiff unsigned int16. The image resulting is completely black.
This a apart of my code:
% Convert to unsigned 16-bit integer
img_uint16 = uint16(double(img) / double(intmax(‘uint16’)) * 65535);
% Save the image as TIFF
tiffPath = fullfile(subfolderPath, [currentImage(1:end-4), ‘_converted.tif’]);
imwrite(img_uint16, tiffPath);I converted a png to tiff unsigned int16. The image resulting is completely black.

Error being returned summing field
Hi folks,
In the following formula:
=SUMIFS((Sheet1!$R$5:$R$1000, D24)=SUMIF(Sheet1!$O$5:$O$1000,”>0″))
colR is the week number
D24 refers to week number 19
colO is the amount sold
The formula I am trying looks first to find the matching field number and then sum the the total of colO where the amount of each week number found is greater than 0
For example D24 has found three week 19’s in colO two of the records are greater than 0 and one record less than 0
The formula should only sum those records that are greater than 0
Thank you for your interest!
