Unpack and Transform Unidata Values
Hi team
New to this community and hoping please for some assistance. I have tried to work this out myself to no avail.
We have an SQL database that is connected to a unidata database. One of the tables is PURCHASES. This table stores Purchase Order header details and also the line level detail. It packs up the line details with a concatenation so if you want to view the line detail you have to unpack the concatenated value from the table into a view. For instance, purchase order 31935 has 4 purchase order lines and the system packs up the data like this (note delimeter is ý) (column name is v8);
206-5234; Primary Standard Efficiency Engine Air Filterý206-5235; Secondary Standard Efficiency Engine Air Filterý299-8229; FILTER AS-FUELýPLACED ONLINE – 00C280438
The system also has a column v120 which represents part number.
With all of that context out of the way – here is what I am trying to acheive;
1. Using vales from v8: 206-5234; Primary Standard Efficiency Engine Air Filterý206-5235; Secondary Standard Efficiency Engine Air Filterý299-8229; FILTER AS-FUELýPLACED ONLINE – 00C280438
2. update v120 with this; 206-5234ý206-5235ý299-8229ýPLACED ONLINE – 00C280438
Essentially take the text from the left of each semicolon (;) and remove other text to leave clean part numbers seperated with the delimeter ý
I hope this makes some form of sense. Hoping that this presents a challenge that someone is willing to assit with. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The Microsoft Tech team redirected me here after not being able to resolve my issue – would really appreciate your help, if possible!
I’m using Powerpoint on my Mac and am attempting to add a third branch to ‘6. EMOTIONS’ (seen here):
BUT, when I press Enter to create the third branch, I get this:
It did happen earlier when I was trying to resize some of the shapes, but I managed to resolve this myself but now I am getting nowhere at this point in the mind map.

SQL Server upgrade from SQL 2008 SP3
Hello all,
I know that SQL 2008 R2 with SP3 has already been retired. We actually still have a system running it and with Windows Server 2008 R2. I am going to do the “upgrade” by using the Migrate to a new server approach. The old SQL server is with the DB storage inside this Virtual Machine.
My idea is to keep this old DB as safe as possible. So I am going to backup this server with using Snapshot, as this old server is the VM.
Then I planned to prepare build a new OS server with the new SQL server.
My idea is to set up like that –
Original stage

Access locations in maplineshape
Hi,
I am trying to access the locations in a maplineshape object. They are in there because I am able to plot the locations using the geoplot function. For example, if I have the following geotable:
T = readgeotable("concord_roads.shp");
geoplot(T.Shape(1))
How do I access the locations in the maplineshape object, T.Shape(1)? I don’t see anything in the documentation or an obvious method associated with the object.

I use Java Matlab Engine API on Linux, no mwnativejava_engine_core in java.library.path

Excel Spreadsheet
I am only a basic Excel user and I am trying to create a spreadsheet to use for an inventory count.
I have a category that is the 4 digit code for the price paid for an item shown in letters (each letter is a different number) i.e. FRED would be $12.45. I would like to convert the code to the actual price paid on the spreadsheet. I don’t know if the is possible or not and have not had much luck trying to figure out if it can be done.

Hi I am triying to run a Processor in the Loop simulation using a LaunchPad XL C2000 TMS320F28069M, however when I tried to deploy my model to hardware i got the next error:

Is it safe to delete the node-specific folders under ~/.MathWorks/ServiceHost/ on Linux?

I am trying to using Auth,js v5 to login with microsoft from any organisation. I ahve been troublshooting this for so long and I have tried this with supabase auth to test. It worked frist try logging in with an organisation account, but I don’t want to use supabase, I want to use Auth.js. I am getting “AADSTS700005: Provided Authorization Code is intended to use against other tenant, thus rejected.“. I have multitenant enabled in the azure portal and I cannot find anyone with the same issue as me.

I’d like to configure my Windows 10 to have zero unannounced installations. That is it must ask user or admin, first, regardless of what it’s installing.
Secondly I’d like to set the internet traffic in / out to zero bytes unless either initiated by user or admin or approved by user / admin.
I’ve spent a few days looking at individual policies and got pretty close but I’ve had to reinstall now cause Microsoft Security would not load at all after setting the previous set of rules.
If posted in wrong thread, please advise. Thank you for reading my help request

Combide data using the command readcell
Hi, I have discovered that I have some issues when combining the output data that were saved in a text file. I tried to use readmatrix but some data are lost.
For example, I have attached three text files that contains cell data with columns x row. The number of columns have a constant value of 70, and the number of rows it may vary from each file. When I have created a foor loop to read all the data and combine them in a global matrix, I realized that some files files are read as cell arrays and they are not separated like others and creates an issue when combining them. I was trying to spit the files and create some conditions for those cases but some data is loose and the number of columns are lost and creates an issue when I want to combine the data in a global matrix. Hello! I’m having troubles when creating a table within a loop because some table variables are structure arrays that have different fieldnames. I get the following error :
Error using vertcat : Names of fields in structure arrays being concatenated do not match. Concatenation of structure arrays requires that these arrays have the same set of fields.
