I recently bought a new laptop primarily for everyday internet use, but I’m having a major issue with the font/text display—it’s extremely unpleasant. No matter what I do, the text just doesn’t look smooth or natural.

As a first-time user of Windows 11, I searched online for solutions before reaching out here. I tried following the advice from various sources, including watching YouTube tutorials, but none of the common fixes seem to be working.

For instance, I diligently followed all the steps recommended in a specific video, but the problem persists across all applications. While Firefox is slightly better than Edge in terms of font display, overall, it still doesn’t feel “right.”

To provide better context, I’ll be attaching some screenshots as I’m unsure if I’m simply being paranoid. Can you take a look and let me know if you notice any issues with the text smoothness in these screenshots? I find it hard to articulate, but something definitely feels off. I’ve used older laptops running previous Windows versions, and the text rendering was way smoother than what I’m experiencing now.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated because I can’t stand this any longer—it’s really driving me crazy.
