What needs to be changed in existing product code to code for MSIX, from Scratch?
I see many articles regarding the handling and packaging of existing applications, but I cannot find anything along the lines of “if you want to change your code for MSIX, this is how” (or how to code for MSIX from day 1). How about an example of a product that was coded in VB .Net (or similar language) and was subsequently packaged in a MSI installer. Now show the new version of that same code with the changes to fit MSIX, (registry, whatever else). If the exe is being executed by the installer and it puts up a dialog that the user needs to respond to, how to handle that (in that custom actions are only available at the beginning and end of the MSIX packaging, and not while installing).
Something along the lines of “This must change”, if you want to write code for MSIX packaging.

Counting employees during each hour of the day
Hello. I am having a hard time figuring out how to use functions to count the number of staff I have working during each hour of the day. I am a beginner, but I enlisted the help of someone who has more experience and they aren’t able to figure it out either.
I have 45 employees in a 24/7 department, so there are night shift staff that start on 1 day and finish on the next – that is throwing a huge wrench into things.
The schedule also has 30 minute lunches built into their day, so there is a 30 minute overlap that I don’t want to include those people into.
I do my schedule in excel per pay period as shown below. I am willing to adapt the way I currently do the schedule if needed, I just need to save myself time and prevent miscounting errors.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I am looking for the “INFO” tab on Microsoft Excel 2019 for Mac. Although it seems that you can quickly locate this panel on the Windows version, I am having some difficulty locating it on the Mac version. Does it exist on the Mac version?

Intune / MDE device control policy audit events
I find that this feature is inconsistent on outputting the audit events to advanced hunting. I have not had an issue making the policies block devices including allowing specific ones, however it seems to be finicky on when it will output the RemovableStoragePolicyTriggered events. If I reboot the device it seems to emit the audit events briefly. The Windows Toast notifications are also inconsistent, but I suspect that is due to some function of Windows that limits the number of notifications that can occur.
Is there some trick to make the audit events show up in advanced hunting consistently?
My configuration is targeting USB/WPD/CDROM each one denying “File Write/File Execute” with an audit allowed + audit denied for everything but print.
I tried explicitly “allowing” read/write/execute/fileread but it had no effect other than changing the policy label from “DefaultAllow” to the policy name when it did happen to emit a RemovableStoragePolicyTriggered event. I “clean” the registry keys associated with the policies prior to testing to get rid of duplicate data from policy updates.

Windows 11 slows down a lot after applying company policy

We got more than a 100 ThinkPad E14 G2 notebooks in our ecosystem in our company and they work great!
Ever since we are trying to switch to Win11 Enterprise edition from Win10 Enterprise edition we got a lot of problem, but the main one is the speed and reliability. Whenever we apply the company image pre configured with all the software and policies we use and we used on the Win10 variants, it gets horribly slow. I mean to first open Teams it tooks like 3-5 hours with no disturbance to the machine. (in comparison on the Win10 machine the same tasks takes like 1 min max)
We tried to install fresh windows 11 from a pendrive and everything works great until we apply the company policy pack and someone logs into the machine with our ad and stuff.
More ram also didn’t helped a lot and just in case we tried all of our apps (basic stuff for a lot of people like outlook, teams, chrome etc.) without applying the company policy and it was flawless!
The cpu, disk, ram never goes above 50%, it is terrible..
We use trellix for encrypting but not installing it doesn’t help.

We first noticed this in one of our production extensions, but have also reproduced the error with the ‘HelloWorld’ example from the official ‘Build your first ListView Command Set extension’ article. The following behaviour is encountered: 1. Default SharePoint Microsoft Lists-type UI displayed when opening a list in SharePoint – ListViewCommandSet button is not displayed. 2. I’m working on an excel training matrix for my team, and I managed to get all training divided by type (if university based, hospital based or team specific). Each training category has a different sheet.
I would like to add a main page where I have all team members names on the Y axis and all categories of training on the X axis, that reads for each team member’s row in the specific training’s sheet, and reports green if all training in that sheet is up to date, yellow if something is about to expire, and red if something has expired.
Basically I would like it to be more evident at a glance if someone has something to update rather than check each spreadsheet (we have tons of trainings).
I was thinking of a formula that goes
IF [PERSONNEL ALL SPECIFIC ROW IN SHEET TRAINING 1] is GREEN then [CURRENT CELL IN MASTER SHEET] is GREEN
IF [PERSONNEL ALL SPECIFIC ROW IN SHEET TRAINING 1] is YELLOW then [CURRENT CELL IN MASTER SHEET] is YELLOW
IF [PERSONNEL ALL SPECIFIC ROW IN SHEET TRAINING 1] is RED then [CURRENT CELL IN MASTER SHEET] is RED
(hope this makes sense, I am useless with excel formulas…)
I would then be able to just change the sheet training row and name to have the rest of the document auto populate itself.
Can someone help? Is this something doable with Excel?
I’m working on an excel training matrix for my team, and I managed to get all training divided by type (if university based, hospital based or team specific). Each training category has a different sheet. I would like to add a main page where I have all team members names on the Y axis and all categories of training on the X axis, that reads for each team member’s row in the specific training’s sheet, and reports green if all training in that sheet is up to date, yellow if something is about to expire, and red if something has expired.Basically I would like it to be more evident at a glance if someone has something to update rather than check each spreadsheet (we have tons of trainings).
