Pushing latest teams through Intune
I have got MS Teams packaged and ready to push through Intune. Will this remove the old classic teams? I want to have it removed due to security risks.

Populating columns with rows from another sheet
I have a Excel document with 2 tabs. The first one is a “partslist”. The second tab is automatically pulled from company data and refreshed weekly,”Facility”.(this cannot be edited in any way)
What I’m trying to do is have Fac ID column in the Facility tab automatically generate into the partslist table on the Partslist tab. We add facility all the time so manually adding wouldn’t be ideal.
Fac ID Column(Facility tab) -> Spareparts(tab) =generates a column in partslist table, that will automatically add a new column if a new Fac ID is added.

Restrict user from access of some folders in SharePoint library
Hi everybody!
I have a security group “all_site_users”, they can read and edit all documents the site.
At the onboarding process joins an user automatically this group.
There is another group “not_these_folder” with members, who are also in all_site_users.
I want to exclude the not_these_folder group from access of some folders in the document library. And I don’t want to change the membership of all_site_users.
How can I do this? I see only the restricted view permission, but so the users can read.

“Drafts” content type in Microsoft 365 portal?
In the midst of delivering an “Introduction to Microsoft 365” workshop yesterday, I noticed a new view in the “Quick access” section (see below) of the M365 portal/app. When I click on that view, I’m told “No drafts yet / Create a new raft to get started”. “Draft” is somewhat vague since several apps allow users to save things in a draft state (Outlook messages, SharePoint pages/news posts, etc.), so I’m not sure what’s supposed to be showing up there. For example, I know I have several draft emails and draft pages in a few SharePoint sites, but they aren’t appearing there. I suspect this may be part of/related to the new SharePoint start page experience which (I think?) will allow people to create “personal” pages (which will be stored in their OneDrive site collection, like “personal” lists).

Is there any way to make an office file (accessed by a button) open in the client app by default?
I was able to find a setting that if someone clicks a file from the documents section itself, it opens in the client app by default.
However, I have buttons to shortcut to certain files on my SharePoint homepage, and no matter what I try, I cannot get them to open in the client by default.
Is there a way to do this? Various google searches and searching here didn’t provide any fruitful results.

MFA and Authenticator loop
Hi all,
I hope I am posting this in the correct thread, but I have been bounced between multiple MS support teams and none could help me so far.
A friend of mine has lost her phone with the MS authenticator application on it. Now she is no longer able to log into her MS account as all attempts redirect her to either enter the code in Authenticator or approve login request via Authenticator. She cannot access her account and login doesn’t provide any other method. She tried installing Authenticator on her new phone, but to link it with her account she needs to log in.
Is there a way to (temporarily) bypass the Authenticator and send the MFA to the email address or her new phone number via SMS (or any similar method)?
She has some work-related files on OneDrive which she cannot afford to lose and at the moment has no way of accessing.

After reinstalling my OS, I encountered an issue where every USB stick and even one external hard drive became write-protected. Strangely, I could format them without any problem, but whenever I tried to download something onto them, I received the message: “The disk is write protected, remove the write-protection or use another disk.”
I tried cleaning attributes in Diskpart and used a hard disk low-level format application, and while the formatting process seemed to go smoothly, the drives remained unusable.

Windows 11 Update Continuously Reverts Intel GPU Drivers
I am experiencing a persistent issue where the Windows 11 (23H2, Home Edition) update continuously reverts my Intel GPU drivers. Despite trying various solutions, nothing has worked. Since I am using the Home Edition of Windows 11, I don’t have access to Group Policy Editor (gpedit) to disable driver updates through Windows updates. Is there any way to stop this ongoing problem, which has been around for years? Microsoft still hasn’t provided an option to block these updates.
Even after performing a clean installation as recommended by Intel, the next reboot triggers Windows update to roll back the drivers again. Why is Microsoft so incapable of resolving this issue?

Can’t share files with external in chats
Some users in my organisation try to share files with externals in a chat. In our team policy it is allowed to add external guest. In chats though if I add a document or file in a chat with an external person, he can’t see the document. Is this done by design or is there a solution for this problem.

Exporting List View to Excel Includes Hidden Source Fields Used in Calculated Columns

I have a custom SharePoint Online list with several calculated fields that use other fields for their calculations (e.g., the calculated field “Full Name” = [First Name] + [Last Name]). In my list views, only the calculated fields (e.g., “Full Name”) are displayed, not the source fields (e.g., “First Name” and “Last Name”). However, when I export the list view to Excel, all the source fields used in the calculations are included in the export as empty columns, even though they are not displayed in the view. How can I prevent these unused source columns from appearing in the Excel export?
