So I used a filter function formula to filter data based on specific category or vendor name like so:

However, what I realized is that what this filters is readable data not editable data. If I wanted to edit the data I would have to go to a different tab where the table resides and make the necessary changes which will automatically update when going back to the readable data tab like I showed in the image above. 

My question is, is there a way to use a drop down list to directly filter a table that way I would be able to edit and filter my table in the same tab? Like this for example which I photoshoped together:

 So if there is something I can put in the actual Filter function formula that can make what I’m asking work that maybe you excel experts might know and tell me that would be great. By the way this is my filter function formula: =FILTER(FilterTest,(FilterTest[Category]=L3)+(FilterTest[Vendor]=L4),””).

Although if its not possible using the filter function formula maybe you excel experts might have a tutorial video link that I can watch that will help me with trying to solve this problem.

I’ve spent days and hours trying to find videos or forums but I have had no luck.

I created a Sharepoint page and added an MS list web part, which I use as a “filter” selection. Then, I added a second MS list to display the main list of content items, configured with Dynamic filtering based on selecting the “filter” list.

Then, I added a Document library web part, which is again configured with Dynamic Filtering based on the selection of the second content item list.

Unfortunately, when you select an item from the “filter” list and then select an item from the second “content” list, the document library does not update based on the selection.

HOWEVER..

If I select an item from the second “content” list without selecting an item from the “filter” list, the document library updates and shows the filtered content correctly. 

Any idea why it would not work and how to fix this? Seems like it should work

When I wanna manage my files and folders from the web, it shows the pic bellow:

1. The error shows from the web is Pic 1, I tried Chrome and Edge, the same result.

2. When I try from the PC Client, it gets nothing but circling. Pic 2.

3. It happens to all my own files and folders. Because :

1) When I manage and re-share the files and folders that shared to me, it’s OK.

2) When I log into the site with account of my friend, using my PC and same browser, it’s OK.

4. So most probably that the issue is from the MS server and from my account.

p.s. I’m using personal account with @outlook.com.

Hi All,

There is a host pool with a couple of session hosts.

Users’ profiles are stored in file share by means of FSLogix with Microsoft apps separated with ODFC container. 

Having all that set up the way I described is it normal that users’ Outlook OST files are stored in C:UsersusernameAppDataLocalMicrosoftOutlook? 

For some reason a user periodically gets this error although the path is reachable. 

(All AVD users have their OST files stored in local path).

Lot of people watch movies, streaming etc. using notebook connected to TV (by HDMI), as a second display. In this situation, you want sometimes to mute edge (stream going in Edge), but there is no “Mute” action on right-button when you click on taskbar Edge button (just New Window and New InPrivate Window). So you must de-fullscreen video on the TV, mute tab, later un-mute tab and fullscreen video on the TV again. Mute action on taskbar would really improve that experience (I would consider even putting small clickable icon directly on taskbar Edge button, if possible).

We are working on a project that involves integrating Microsoft Teams into a web application. I have two requirements, and we are seeking guidance on how to implement them:

Join a Teams meeting using only the meeting ID: Is it possible to allow users to join a Teams meeting by entering just the meeting ID, without requiring a password or sign-in? If so, what would be the best approach to achieve this?Bypass the lobby from the client side: Is there a way to automatically bypass the Teams meeting lobby from the client side, allowing users to join the meeting directly without needing host approval?

Any help or direction on how to implement these features would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Community,

I’ve created a Power BI report based on data from Project online.

I changed few dates for certain projects in Project online.

When I refresh the data in PBI Report, all project dates update correctly except for one specific project, where the reference date still show the old value.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.
