SharePoint Online List switch to Microsoft List
Since few weeks ago my user is viewing the lists of my SharePoint Online with the UI (User Interface) of Microsoft List instead of the SharePoint. I think this is related to the announcement of Microsoft to switch to the experience of the users to List instead of SharePoint, as explained in this link:

But I am facing the problem that the views are not similar and show data, specilly text in different ways, thus causing a disruption in our work.
The main issue is how different both systems show multiple lines fields. While SharePoint UI adjust the height of the row to the content of the field, Microsoft List have a fixed height, thus not showing all the text.
Here is an example. This is the view with SharePoint UI:

Anybody else with the same problem? I hope either Microsoft allows an option to decide whether we want SharePoint or MS List UI, or modifies MS Lists so that multiple line fields are shown completely.

8018 – DNS Client events in Event Log when laptop is asleep
Hi All,
We’re in the testing phase of rolling out W11 to our staff devices and are currently seeing this event appearing in Event Viewer > System when the device is asleep. It happens maybe every other second on average. We don’t see it on our W10 devices. Any suggestions? These are new or newish EliteBook HP laptops. Doesn’t happen on our desktops that we’ve tested. If we remove devices from domain and delete the wi-fi config it goes away. As soon as the laptop wakes up it also stops.

To register the DNS host (A or AAAA) resource records using the specific DNS domain name and IP addresses for this adapter, contact your DNS server or network systems administrator.

Update Entra ID User Role Permissions to Secure Your Tenant
The user authorization policy defines user role permissions, or actions that non-admin users can take within an Entra ID tenant. The default settings are silly. I can’t think of good reasons to allow non-admin users to create new registered apps, tenants, or security groups. Why default settings allow these actions is a mystery, and it could be they’re just outdated.

Issue with button action on unfurling link adaptive card
I have developed a Message Extension Teams app that have feature for link unfurling. Upon pasting the link, the card shows up in the chat, containing a button. Generally, I want to popup a dialog that opens upon clicking the button and accepts text from users.
But, on clicking the button, I’m getting the error Return to the main window to perform this action. How can I fix this issue?

New MCPP Subscription in Azure
Hi,
Apologies if this is the wrong forum.
Earlier this year I renewed my Action Pack subscription and had to link my billing profile at the same time.
Once that had gone through, I noticed that I had a new Azure subscription called ‘MCPP Subscription’
I still also have my Microsoft Partner Network subscription which has all my resource groups etc in.
My query is what is this new subscription? Should I start using it? My credits are linked to the old MPN subscription.
I’ve not been able to find anything so far about it either on general internet searches or this community.

How to open a microsoft teams chat in a separate windows from a dotnet project
Hi,
I have a desktop application in dotnet 6.
From this application I have created a chat, add members, messages and files.
From there, I open or activate the Teams application.
I would like to be able to open the chat into a separate window from the teams application so it stand out to the user.

Prologue: My close friend works as the manager in a bar, the owner of the bar had regulation to gave a bonus for each band and employee to trade $150 for whatever liquor they want. Right now the system on how to handle the limitation was by words, mouth to mouth. My friend in the management, she had a trouble for keeping this regulation strict as in not exceed the limit they spend.
So, I want to make a game card system like in the arcade, for the “point of sales software”limited to the swiping log, track the remaining balance, subtract or add balance to the card manually and automatically, import the value to Excel for easier employee salary management. And for the “card reader” it able to connect with the software, read how much the balance, display the balance, deduct the balance with the ID of the card, and able to split bill with the credit and cash.

Example below: Example 1: Start time: 5/1/2024, 16:19. End time: 5/2/2024, 10:39.
Example 2: start time 5/3/2024 9:21. End time: 5/3/2024, 9:24.
By considering working hour 8~5pm and holiday is on 5/1/2024.
