Editing Project for Web Tasks in the New Planner
I have a Project on P4W with custom fields that I created with Plan 5. I can see the Project Tasks assigned to me under “My Tasks” in the new MS Teams Planner but the tasks don’t have any of the custom fields and I can only close the tasks.
When I go into the Task and it says that the Tasks was created in a premium plan.
When I hit the “Go to premium plan” link, it brings up the P4W project in planner.
Can Planner be able to display custom the custom fields in a Tasks and allow updates to these fields or other fields underneath the “My Tasks” category? Also, would other users without a Project or Planner Premium license be able to do the same?

We are working to clean up our sender authentication focusing on what we can fix quickly here internally. However, the DMARC reports are not clear enough to explain why we are failing SPF. Even using a DMARC subscription tool.
We have our Exchange server (on prem) which sends to an encryption gateway (on prem and DKIM signer) and that sends to a security gateway (cloud). The DMARC reports show Domain1 and Domain2 as our and we see the DKIM signature, thus proving it is coming from our internal email server.
What I do not understand is how ~10% of the time Domain3 changes to our security gateway which uses the allowed IP netblock that we include in our SPF record, but it fails SPF. Looking into the SPF records of that sending domain (Domain3), there are no existing SPF records which may explain the failing. One DMARC report includes enough information that shows when Domain3 is the security gateway, the “envelope_from” field is empty. When the “envelope_from” field contains our address, Domain3 maintains our domain and it passes SPF.
To reiterate, when in the mail flow does Exchange add the Envelope From field? Can that be tracked? What addresses would not add / include the envelope from field, e.g. distribution groups, shared mailboxes, or unauthenticated senders? Any information on this would be grateful, even if it is argumentative as that would lead me to a better direction hopefully.

With recent product improvements like Zero Downtime Slot Deployments and reworked workflow enumeration, Logic App Standard customers can now pack up to 1000 workflows together in a single app. Packing workflows together can simplify management of related workflows while reducing dedicated VM cost.
Handling post-deployment downtime
This section describes how increased workflow count affects deployment downtime – and how slot deployments help mitigate the resulting unavailability.
As workflow count increases in a logic app, deployment downtime becomes a primary blocker. By default, the logic apps runtime restarts after each deployment – each workflow is parsed, interpreted, and initialized. During this time, the runtime is unavailable (for example, request triggers will fail).
Host restarts become untenably long in many-workflow scenarios. This graph below shows restart times from an example logic app as 1000 workflows are deployed over a 30-minute period:

Each checkered purple line represents deploying 250 new workflows at once.
There are two takeaways:
Initialization time has a ‘base cost’ depending on the number of existing workflows. Deploying a single workflow to an empty logic app will result in minimal downtime – but deploying the same workflow to a dense logic app (e.g. 500 existing workflows) can result in over 5 seconds of unavailability.
Besides ‘base cost’, downtime can be high after cold starts or deploying many workflows at once.
As described in Enable deployment slots for zero downtime deployment, customers with ‘dense’ logic apps can now leverage slot deployments to mitigate this downtime. This allows such logic apps to remain available throughout deployment, regardless of workflow count.
Reworked workflow enumeration
In recent months, workflow enumeration from the Portal and VSCode has been reworked to better support high workflow counts. Beforehand, users could face long delays or fatal timeout errors if enumerating hundreds of workflows. This performance has been improved, particularly in portal – in general, we see over 10x speedup at the 50th percentile for such loads. This enables basic portal management of existing workflows (run history, resubmissions, etc) for these scenarios.
Limitations
While the portal ‘read-only’ experience is improved, customers editing workflows in the portal will still encounter a degraded development experience as the number of workflows increases. This is because host initialization performance is unchanged: each ‘save’ triggers a new deployment and restart – during this time, the runtime (and therefore portal experience) is unavailable.

I have a spreadsheet with 200 rows that contains one image in each row of column A. I inserted these images by Insert > Picture > Place Over Cell (then I rotated it as neccessary) > then I clicked the little icon on the top right of the image which puts the image in the cell. However, the problem I have is when you click the image, it dissapears and the text “Picture” appears within the cell and the only way to make the image to come back (to my knowledge) is to Undo. Does anyone know why the image dissapears when I check on an image in the cell? Images attached a reference. Any help would be really appreciated as a lot of time and effort has gone into compiling this document.

Teams Rooms Limitations
I set up 2 Teams Rooms for one of my clients and in learning how to set up and use a Teams Room and train the client, there seems to be a LOT left to be desired with Teams Room, especially for the price of the Teams Room Pro license!
The Teams Room includes an Audio Conference license, but if you want to use it you have to send the invite AS the room. So users needing this would need to be a delegated admin of the room resource. And who wants to send out an invite from “Main Conference Room on behalf of Jane” to their customers? This means each user needs their own Audio Conference license* to send out their own invites and then add the Teams room. What is the point of the room having an audio conference license?If you add a Teams Room to your invite, the attendees are shown the location of the meeting as that conference room, the only clue it is an online/teams meeting is the Teams info in the invite’s message body. Then when the attendee gets an Outlook reminder for the meeting it actually shows the location as the conference room NOT a Teams meeting.No minutes are included so you can’t actually use the Teams Room as a conference phone unless you add minutes. I would think for the cost of Teams Room Pro it would include a Teams Phone with Calling Plan license. So if you just want to have a conference call you have to setup a whole Teams meeting and then just use the audio portion.
This has been a very difficult journey. Explaining all of this to my client after convincing them to spend a good amount of money on a Teams Room setup (equipment cost, to be fair, is not a Microsoft problem) and then continually telling them the limitations and how they need to spend more money for additional licenses to get the features they want is not a good solution. For those looking to sell a Teams Room, do the research first and be warned it is NOT a cheap or easy solution!

RSOP show the specific setting, but when you view it, security and audit setting come back blank. The audit settings on the file remain unchanged from all, special, write.

I am creating calendars for various campaigns, and assigning different team members to the calendars. This results in me appearing as a staff member in each calendar that I create and administer. I don’t want to be available – I want to set myself to be not bookable. The help I have found says that I can set myself to not available, which is not what I want. Work Teams admin – close one to one conversations org wide.
I have been asked by my CEO to update our organization teams to not allow all users to create one to one chats for users in our organization and only lock them down to either established teams or groups.
I see where i can update this setting in the messaging policy to enable / disable the “Chat” and the “Chat with Group” function. However it states that chats that existed prior to disabling the option will still function. Is there a way on the back end either through the admin center or via powershell scripting to go through each user in the organization and force users to leave their one to one conversations?

Is there a way on the back end either through the admin center or via powershell scripting to go through each user in the organization and force users to leave their one to one conversations? Hey everyone.
I have daily data which excludes weekend and public holidays. When i want to do an annual percentage change calculation, one of the dates could possibly be weekend or public holiday date so there won’t be any data. It returns an error. I want to be able to have an excel formula that if the current and last year date have a number, the percentage change calculation should normally happen. If not the last date with the data should be used as the substitute date. For example, if the last year date is a Saturday and there was data on Friday then the Friday data should be used.
I hope i can get guidance on what to use formula wise.
