Team Channel Post Order Concern
My organization uses team channels across multiple office locations. We have consolidated into managing all case files across our region. We manage most communications and shared documents/ spreadsheets through team’s channels related to specific tasks/ roles a staff member may be working in for that day. Due to the rapid turnover (daily task changes) we need clear organization within our teams channels.
We post case tasks in teams in certain channels for follow up. These build up rapidly as we have thousands of case files and a never ending chain of work. Some days channels can have 10-20 action items posted. The problem comes into play when someone actions an item and comments on the post. It then pulls the post to the most recent spot (top or bottom depending on how it set). We are needing the posts to stay in order of date/ time posted as we start to lose items that haven’t been actioned yet. Everyday we are digging through posts trying to make sure all get actioned. It’s very stressful and not efficient. Maybe teams is not the best method but we haven’t sorted out an alternative since this suddenly change in our division.
Is there anyway we can adjust the order settings for posts in channels?
