Unable to activate developer mode on HoloLens 2 due to organizational restrictions
Hello everyone,
I’m currently facing an issue with my HoloLens 2 where I cannot activate Developer Mode, Device Portal, or join the Windows Insider Program to get the latest OS updates.
### Background:
– **Device:** HoloLens 2
– **OS Version:** Windows Holographic for Business
– **OS Build:** 10.0.19041.1223
– **Firmware Revision Number:** 11973.01.01.200917F
– **Date of Issue:** August 13, 2021
Recently, I integrated my university Microsoft account with my HoloLens 2 to get more storage space on OneDrive. As a result, a second Microsoft account was added to my device:
1. Personal account
2. University account (managed by my university)
Since then, I can not activate Developer Mode, and there is a message with:
“Some of these settings are hidden or managed by your organization.”
### Issues:
– I am unable to activate Developer Mode.
– I cannot enable the Device Portal.
– I am unable to join the Windows Insider Program to update the OS.
### Question:
How can I regain access to these settings? Would removing the university account help? If so, what are the steps involved? I have explored the account options and did not find any delete account button
