WhatsApp Widget Appearing on Lock Screen – Need Help
In recent weeks, I’ve noticed a WhatsApp “player” widget appearing on my PC’s lock screen when I wake it up. This widget includes back, pause, and forward buttons, similar to what you’d see on a phone’s lock screen when media is playing. However, the WhatsApp desktop app isn’t playing any audio or video; it’s just idle, waiting for messages as usual.
I’ve checked the WhatsApp desktop app settings but found nothing related to the lock screen. I also looked through Windows 11 settings under Lock Screen, but there’s no mention of WhatsApp there either.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Any help would be appreciated!
